2K Two-Component FRAME FO A M fast curing Safety Precautions: Extremely flammable. Harmful if inhaled. Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. May cause sensitisation by inhalation and skin contact. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe in aerosol. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Pressurized container: protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. In effect from 01.12.2010: Suspected to cause cancer. Harmful: danger of severe harm to health when exposed by inhalation for a longer time. May cause allergic reactions with persons who already are sensitised to diisocyanates. Avoid contact – including skin contact – with this product if you suffer from asthma, an eczematous skin disease or skin problems. Do not use product if there is no sufficient ventila- tion, or wear a protective mask with adequate gas filter (type A as defined in EN 14387). If ventilation is not sufficient, explosive mixtures may form. Additional heat from chemical reaction develops during mixing. WARNING: Do not use can if its temperature is higher than +25° C. Cool down in water if necessary. Apply IMMEDIATELY after mixing. If foam is not released from can, it may heat up to over + 50° C. Danger of explosion! Protect from mechanical strain. Do not pierce, throw or jar – danger of injury! TRANSPORTATION IN VEHICLES: Do not store in vehicles heated up by sun. Keep can in trunk, wrapped in cloth. Do not keep can in rear compartment. GENERAL STORAGE: Do not store on heat source. Any warranty is excluded if storage is inappropriate. Only for professional or industrial use. Germany: Can is collected and recycled via PDR-system. It adheres to most building materials such as wood, concrete, aerated concrete, brick, metal, alu- minium, but not to polyethylene, silicone, teflon and other release agents. Application: Surfaces should be clean, free of dust, grease and other impurities. Moisten dry and porous surfaces with water. Before application, foam container should have bet- ween + 10° C and + 25° C, because when the two components are mixed, the chemical reaction produces heat. If necessary cool down can in water. Cover the ground and surfaces around your working area. 1. Wear protective goggles and gloves when working with foam. 2. Remove cap from container and screw on adapter. 3. Turn black disc at bottom of can at least six times in direction of arrow in order to activate inner container. 4. Shake can thoroughly at least 30 times so that the two com- ponents mix well (Quality of foam depends on mixing). 5. Turn can upside down and begin application immediately. Otherwise temperature in can may rise above 50°C, which means risk of explosion! Output of foam can be regulated by pressure on valve. Emptying of can must be completed after 8 minutes. After that, foam will harden in container. Foam is supposed to be of an even light green colour. Shake can again if it is not. Use sparingly – foam‘s volume increases by 20-30%. Filling of cavities of all sizes is possible since there are no restrictions concerning volume or diameter. Once foam has hardened, cut it into shape with a sharp knife. Remove uncured spillings immediately with Alfa Spray & Gun Cleaner or Alfa Clewo Wipes Duo+. These instructions correspond to the latest standard of our knowledge. Due to the wide variety of applications and exter- nal influences, users are advised to locally confirm the suitabi- lity by their own tests. Hardened foam can only be removed by mechanical means. Cured foam is not UV-resistant, therefore do not expose to sun- light for a longer period of time. Alfa Frame Foam should be painted, pasted or plastered over in order to be protected from UV-rays.
