Overview of the MARVIN project
Project focus – automated tomato seedling inspection (2008-2012).
Project based on the PhD project (2008) by my colleague Nicole
Koenderink*
Financed by a consortium of breeders/ plant growers; RijkZwaan,
Monsanto, Syngenta, Enza, Incotec, Bejo, Nunhems and others
High accuracy plus high throughput, tough specs;
● 18.000 seedlings per hour
● Accurate quality grading similar to a human expert.
