The association "Les Enfants du Dragon" - "The Children of the Dragon" (goal is to help and support by any mean humanitarian projects for the children and the poorest in Vietnam. Help abandoned and orphans By bringing them a secure environment that provides medical support, vital needs end instruction. The goal is to provide what they need to develop, integrate society, get some cultural knowledge, autonomy to give them a chance for a better life. Fight insecurity of the poorest By building charity houses, giving a roof to families who live in extreme poverty. Support Orphanages and poorest school By paying sanitary equipment, construction work to improve facilities, food donation, scholarship … Bring clean water to remote villages and school By drilling, building wells and water cleaning stations, we bring clean water to hundred of families … Fight against malnutrition of distressed people By building spirulina farms, by giving for free the big part of our production to sick people, old people, poor schools… Spirulina is a micro-alga considered by WHO as the "super nutriment" for the XXI century because of its composition of minerals and et vitamins.
Description Title of operation: Our heart project "Les Enfants Du Dragon" - "The Children of the
Dragon" orphanage (Mái Ắm "Những đứa con của rồng"). Context: We did help until now in such small centers but facing difficulties to obtain more
harshness in administration, management, application of basic hygiene rules in their house
from the responsible, we would wish to have our own welcoming center.
Aim: The project consists of creating a reception center for orphans and abandoned with the objective of assuring their education and preparing them to be integrated into the locale social and economic environment.

Administrative approaches: Multiple canvassing (meetings, pleadings, phoned contacts,..) toward Vietnamese authorities and builders were effective since the idea of the project during 2 years which finally opened to the attribution of a land necessary to the construction and management of the establishment. Technical works: After studies of soils, through a geotechnical company, agreed by the
provincial bureau of studies and architecture, the building permit was accorded. The land is
now serviced: jointed to water supplies and exhausts, electrical power, and phone.
Concerning improvement, a project of joining to the “main sewer” is running on this part of the community, awaiting used and toilets waters which will be gathered in graves.
SOLIDARITY - EDUCATION - TRAINING - HEALTH
Specific aim: The project registers in a dynamic toward education and training aiming
insertion of those children within the society, the targets are concerning the following
domains:
1. EDUCATION: (fighting against illiteracy and exclusion): giving children the possibility to
become actors in their country allowing them to profit of a normal scholarship. The center
"Les Enfants Du Dragon" will participate financing the charges of studies for those orphans.
2. ART and CULTURE: creation of an artistic workshop to educate children to Vietnamese
art and culture (for example: through painting, music and Vietnamese dances...).
3. TRAINING: The welcoming center will include a training center to manual works aiming to
progressively open to ordinary working milieus, particularly to those who would be
intellectually limited in studies.
4. HEALTH: The center will dispose of a sick bay and a medical survey of the children will be
set up.
The subject is more a durable project than only a welcoming center which will end for the
kids as a real family.

1ST PART OF THE PROJET
Phase 1: 06/2015 – 11/2016 – Construction of the care center - 1st building.
01/2017 – 02/2017 - Hiring employees, receiving first children.
Phase 3: Center start.
Activities and results Up to 2015 9/ 7th: Given by all needed authorizations, it was decided in touch with provincial authorities to start up the first Phase of the project. The official D day was on May 14th, and works started in June. To this Day, were realized the foundations, all 18 meter deep peaks were molded under control of the provincial services of construction and two young engineers from CESI of Montpellier. This period of work being done, where then molded all lintels to support the ground floor slab. Works will run on on that planning.

2nd PART OF THE PROJECT As soon as funds will be available (unrealized budget to date), there will be construction of the 2nd Care Centre for Children namely building #2.
Partners and foreign aid workers. The main partners of the association are: Abbé Pierre Foundation, Newtech Interactive Corporation, BASAID, TRYBA Foundation, Armand Thiery group, "Bamboo shoots IDF" association, The Dreams Part, Spice ... The other partners are small and medium enterprises as well as many individuals and volunteers.
Visibility: The logos of all partners are used with their agreement on all the communication media (website, paper supports) of the orphanage project. At the official opening, November 19th, 2016, all donors’ names will be inscribed on a plaque in the lobby of the orphanage. Conclusion: Thanks to the mobilization of donors, funds have been raised for the planned activities of the first part of the project (first building) and the NGO "Children of the Dragon" welcomes the step taken while ignoring not only the way is still long to finalize a whole. If the first objectives have been achieved, thanks to the availability of our friends, supporters and all the members who contributed. To date, about 40,000 € would be needed to equip the building before 19.11.2016 for furniture and miscellaneous small equipment. It is also desirable to ensure fire safety before the arrival of the first child in March, 2017 (cost: € 19 000).
