FEEDBACK ON PROJECT ACTIVITIES

Q: Elaborate on the quality, content, relevance etc. of training activities, specialist workshops andother project activities

❑ Based on our participation in all the trainings and workshops, we are very satisfiedwith the quality of the contents, logistics arrangement, competency of the experts andthe guidance provided which gives the participant with a better and clearerunderstanding in the topics. This further enhance our capability and competenciesworking under the Regulatory framework through discussion and sharing session withall the ASEAN MS.

Q: What are the strengths & weaknesses you or participants on behalf of your country observed inthe conduct of the project activities?

❑ Strength: We are more familiar with the requirements that contribute to a strongerradiation safety and security measures in EPR provisions, which we plan to incorporateinto Brunei’s radiation infrastructure.

❑ Weakness: Disparity in support to countries perceived with high GDP such as BruneiDarussalam

Q: Do you/participants feel more competent/confident in dealing with EPR issues?

❑ Yes, more confident and competent compared to before, but still require morecompetency development and enhancement.

Q: Are you or national participants now better familiar with the IAEA tools for sharingdata during the preparedness phase and during an emergency?

❑ Generally, our participants are now more familiar and after being introducedthe existence of the Incident and Emergency Centre (IEC), Brunei Darussalamcan seek clearer and more relevant support from the IAEA in case of anynuclear or radiological emergency.

❑ USIE and EPRIMS has also been introduced as a tools in accessingRadiological accident notification.
