How did I end up in Tennessee?

We were tired of the weather, and Amy received a good job offer…

Now we live in Portland. The commute is long but the horses

appreciate it.

Other Stuff…

• My favorite vacation spot is New Orleans. Highly recommended for fans of food and music. My sister in law and her husband live there.

• I have one younger brother who lives near San Francisco. He recently made me an uncle. Still getting used to that idea.

• No kids for us, but the 4 horses, 6 geese, and 3 cats keep us pretty busy.• I’m constantly striving to perfect my favorite meal: Steak, hand cut fries, spinach sauteed

with garlic.• What one day in your life would you like to live over? The day we moved into our first house.

Very exciting and satisfying feeling. The night before moving day we stayed there with nothing but a bed and a coffee maker. I remember waking up not knowing where I was, then realizing I was home.

• What do people like most about you? You’d be better off asking them ...• What name do you prefer to be called? Ray. Raymond is fine also. One bandmate always

called me Raymundo, but that would seem odd coming from anyone else.• What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? Not really advice, but I learned how

to properly use a chef’s knife during my (brief) tenure as a knife salesman.
