It is our pleasure to inform you that the 43rd Annual ISNA Canada Convention will be held on Friday
October 20th, Saturday, October 21st and Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 at the Islamic Society of North
America – Canada Headquarters located at 2200 South Sheridan Way, Mississauga, Ontario, L5J 2M4.
Our community will be hosting prominent Muslim leaders from North America and International, we expect
participants from across Canada and the USA. Additionally we are offering a family program including bazaar,
entertainment and children’s program. This will provide a great opportunity to introduce your business, products
or services to many new potential customers.

1. Eligibility for Sponsorship: Sponsor must be an organization with services or products complimentary (not overlapping) to ISNA Canada and where the promotion of sponsors will enhance ISNA Canada’s own aims, objects and direction. Sponsorship shall not be granted to any organization with revoked/suspended or pending application and charitable status. The Sponsorship Committee reserves the right to grant or withhold sponsorship and its decision is final.
2. Once the Sponsorship contract is agreed upon by ISNA Canada, the Sponsor will be issued a confirmation notice.
3. The assigned space will include items agreed upon in a confirmation notice:a) 6’ display table; b) Company I.D. sign; c) 2 chairs. Table covers will be provided.
4. The Sponsorship hours for on-site participation are: Friday - 12:00 pm to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 10:00-am to 9:30 pm.
5. Products or services displayed/demonstrated in actual, printed or audiovisual manner must meet Islamic standards that ISNA Canada wishes to observe.
6. NO FOOD or BEVERAGES MAY BE SOLD BY THE SPONSOR or given away free with exception of fresh dates (unless otherwise confirmed in writing, in the confirmation notice, by the Sponsorship Committee)
7. All displays must be confined to the booth and cannot obstruct the view or access of neighboring displays.
8. Audio, video and multimedia equipment will be monitored by the Sponsorship Committee to maintain and ensure that a comfortable sound level is maintained.
9. Sponsors may not move from an assigned space to another space, assume additional space or move tables, chairs, or accessories from and between other booths and or space. The assignment of locations in the convention will be determined on a first come, first serve basis and the package chosen by the Sponsor. The Sponsorship Committee reserves the right to assign the location and its decision is final.
10. Fireworks or incendiary devices, fuel tanks, heating appliances are strictly prohibited.
11. No fundraising, pledge form distribution or soliciting for donations is permitted at any time and place during the Convention.
12. Sponsors and their staff are expected to follow Islamic standards of behavior and ethics when dealing with customers and the soliciting businesses.
13. Indemnity Clause:a. Sponsors and their staff indemnify and hold ISNA Canada harmless from and against all costs, damages, judgements or legal expenses which may arise from this agreement, set-up, exhibition, participation or dismantling activities during, before and after the Convention. Sponsors also assume all risks of loss, injury, theft or damage of any kind or nature whatsoever to any exhibit or component thereof; including but not limited to goods, merchandise, cash, records or any other property. Furthermore, exhibitors are expressly bound, at their expense, to repair any damage which they cause to the fixtures or the conference centre through unauthorized modifications or movement of their exhibit.b. Sponsors and their staff indemnify and hold the convention centre harmless and respective agents against any claim or expenses arising out of the use of the exhibition premises. The Sponsor understands that neither ISNA Canada nor the conference centre maintain insurance covering the exhibitor’s property and it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain such insurance.
14. Sponsors (s) and all assistant (s) MUST wear an official Convention name tag, for entrance to the convention.
15. ISNA Canada reserves the right to retract the confirmation letter and contract and therefore close any exhibit and eject any Sponsor or sponsor’s staff immediately from the Convention who/which participate (s) in illegal, or un - Islamic activities, violate (s) any of the terms or conditions of this agreement and will immediately comply with instruction given by the ISNA Canada Sponsorship Committee.
16. Sponsorships payments are non-refundable.
