About the Project
The Reaching Jaywick team… Working with and for the people of Jaywick to:
Support community activities in Jaywick
Improve enjoyment of open spaces including Jaywick beach
Providing creative opportunities to gain skills and learning
Developing a community led improvement plan
Building relationships
• A warm thank you for your support and welcome
• We have spent the year meeting, listening and understanding
• Getting to know the community– 23 local community groups/agencies– 150 meetings
• Responding to your constructive feedback, together we have changed our programme of work

CoastNet have supported Jaywick’s membership to the NVCC and All-Party Paliamentary Group for Coastal and Marine Issues
Community-led plan of action
• Lots of talk about community-led regeneration… … this requires a plan of action
• We have a commitment within our project to produce one for you
• Over the last year we have been listening to your ideas, whilst reviewing past and present projects
• We are ready now to put together a draft-plan for you to review and revise and we would like to invite you to an event to do this
