Flycase801 is a module for managing devices, made for creating monitoring systemsIt is equipped with:- digital inputs- analog inputs - voltage outputs- alarms- 2 RS485 ports- 2 RS232 ports- 1 radio Interface- 1 ethernet ports- 1 slot for SD card- 1 connector for USB memory keys- Graphic display and 12 buttons keypad

Characteristic property of Flycase801 consent to connect and manage multiple devices together; for example, different types of multiplexers or custom measurement systems. The multiplexers provide the electric signal of the transducers to the management module.

Each system manages from 1 to 510 multiplexers for a maximum total of 16320 channels. Each channel is characterized by a two or four-way terminal block for the electrical connection of the sensor to the multiplexer. The internal battery operation also eliminates inconvenient external network connections. Flycase801 is provided with a rechargeable Ni-Mh battery pack.

The connection to the electrical network 110/220VAC allows you to take full advantage of the system.

Flycase801 is a helpful support to test the functionalities during the installation of complex monitoring systems as data readings can be manually displayed, directly on-site.Flycase801 and digital multiplexers can also be used as advanced manual terminal switch boxes for low cost migration from manual to automatic acquisitions systems.

What’s

connections

Flycase801 visualizes a web server; via ethernet connection from your local network or over the Inter-net, you can have an access to all the functions of the module.A graphical interface, which is possible to open with all browsers (Windows, Linux and Mac) and also from “tablet”, or “smart phones” or “smart TV” allows to configure and read data from the module in an easy and intuitive way.

All configurations can be implemented either locally or remotely through the integrated display and 12 buttons keypad or via the web server. All the configuration and working parameters are saved on SD card. This solution allows both quick and easy replacement of hardware components and the system backup and restore.

The recovery of stored data has been designed, considering the convenience and safety of the operator. The Flycase801 module meets these needs, saving the readings on the SD card and a backup copy on a USB memory-stick.Therefore for the data recovery you can simply remove mass storage devices from USB and SD slot of the module and insert them into a card reader or USB port of your PC.Flycase801 also visualizes an internal FTP server, so it becomes also possible to download data over a local network or remotely via Internet.

Flycase801 can be also configured as FTP client to download automatically the data to an FTP server.

GMUXGMUX is an acquisition module for analog and vibrat-ing wire instrumentation.

It is created as a device for GEI’s readout logger unit G801 with which it communicates digitally via RS485 or radio. GMUX reads various types of signal, according to the standards 4/20mA, mV/V, V, Pt100, NTC and vibrating wire instrumentation.

During the data acquisition on one of G801 input digital channels, GMUX provides the correct power supply to the analog channel requested and performs the acquisition of the electrical data at the pre-determined period.

The information returns to the G801 module that has requested it, always on the same digital channel. One or more GMUX can be connected on the same digital channel, for this reason every device should have its own unique code.

The product’s power supply can be realized in different ways, depending on the monitoring system’s configuration and on the type of digital channel, used for communication with the other system’s de-vices.

In cases where devices are connected together via the cable (RS485), the maximum distance between the two farthest modules directly depends on cable cross-section, but it is possible to supply the GMUX module directly, using the bus cable.

Therefore, one or more G801 module, used in your monitoring system, manages the power supply of every device in this system. In case the signal cables are particularly long or when the radio connec-tion is used, the GMUX must be equipped with a local battery power supply. According to the system’s configuration parameters or technical requirements, considering the very low consumption of GMUX, you can use only a battery power supply, or, for more complicated systems, 110/220Vac or photovoltaic panels can be considered.

GMUX is available in four versions, from 4 up to 16 channels through (also 8 and 12 channels). Each channel is characterized by a four poles terminal block which is used to supply power to the transducer connected to it and to receive analog signals. The function of 4 poles terminal block depends on the type of the instrument connected.

MUMSMUMS (Modular Underground Monitoring System)is a system consisting of tilt link inclinometer triax-ial nodes, designed for the landslides displacement monitoring or bulkheads’ survey, alternative to those currently in use. It is advantageous in terms of perfor-mance, durability and costs. The received data is processed by a specially devel-oped software in order to get a full 3D image of the entire borehole.

The MUMS system provides the serial connection of other types of nodes, such as: piezometers, HD ther-mometers, strain gauges and barometers. MUMS can be also used for the monitoring of the deformation of different structures (poles, diaphragms, etc.).

Router GPRS/UMTSFlycase801 can be integrated with a router GPRS / UMTS, which makes possible its total remote control besides information, acquired through PCs, tablets, smart phones, etc.., without the necessity to attend on-site installation.

During the data acquisition on one of G801 input digital channels, GMUX provides the correct power supply to the analog channel requested and performs the acquisition of the electrical data at the predetermined period.

Radio NetworkFlycase801 and all its peripheral devices may be supplemented by a radio module which makes possi-ble to have a wireless connection, creating a real net-work of devices.

The network is built for IP compatibility, and is based on 6LoWPAN and 802.15.4e standards.

The Flycase801 system achieves unsurpassed levels of networking resilience, reliability, and scalability with advanced network management and comprehensive security providing up to 8x lower power consumption than competitive solutions even in harsh, dynamically changing RF environments.

oPtional

It is possible to install the system in the boreholes of small diameter (min. 80mm). It does not need any inclinometer casing or special coatings and can also be installed in inclinometer out-of-use boreholes.

Every G801 module is able to manage two MUMS, consisting of maximum 254 TILTLINKs but it can be completed with the DMUX devices: in this case the monitoring systems increases exponentially.
