This degree completion program is designed for imaging professionals who hold active ARDMS (American Registry

for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists), ARRT

(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) registry. The degree

requires completion of 120 credits. Students with active registry are awarded a minimum of 60 advanced standing credits.

The UW-Milwaukee Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences: Diagnostic Imaging degree program, offered through the

UW Flexible Option, provides graduates with a wide range of career opportunities, such as quality-assurance manager,

healthcare administrator, diagnostic imaging educator, and others that require a bachelor’s degree for entry to advanced

programs such as, occupational therapist, physical therapist and physician’s assistant. In addition, with a bachelor’s degree

in diagnostic imaging, you will be qualified to expand your career into other areas of the medical imaging industry and

health related-industries.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, healthcare-support occupations, healthcare practitioners and technical

occupations are expected to generate 2.3 million new jobs through 2024—faster employment growth than any other

In this program, you’ll pay a flat tuition rate per 12

week subscription period, based on the number of

courses you plan to enroll in. For a single course

subscription period, tuition is $1,125. For an “All-You-

Can-Learn” subscription period, in which you can

complete two or more courses, tuition is $2,250.

You have control over the total cost of your program.

Ultimately, it’s based on how much prior coursework and

work experience you bring to the program and how many

subscription periods it takes you to complete the

required curriculum.
