CONSISTENCY in strength and properties is

important

A CHAIN IS AS STRONG AS ITS

WEAKEST LINK

A STRUCTURE IS AS STRONG AS ITS STEEL

Importance of consistency in steel is imperative for the

life of the structure : Like Rebar

Critical: Once used, a rebar can not be replaced

“Simplifying lives of the consumer..”

Modern Construction practices :

Customized Rebar Solution

Offering Professional BBS service from any format

“Material delivered exactly as per BBS.

Helped us to construct faster” RK Shah,

President, EMC Ltd

“6mm TMT stirrups has been of

great help. Handling and disposal

of scrap at remote sites was an

issue.” G Dixit, L&T Limited

“We are looking for a single

supplier for our various projects.

Cut and Bend supplies have helped

us to reduce wastage of steel.” Asis

Mishra ,GM, EMCO

Tiscon Readybuild has a strong presence across

various segments

1. Steel Consumption

2. Opportunities in Construction Sector

3. Steel Construction Challenges

4. Tata Steel- Rebar Offerings for Construction space

5. Challenges at construction site

6. New age services and solutions from Tata Steel

7. Success Story– Bridges

TOPICS

1. When Tata steel approached us with Readybuild concept it

was like “ Eureka” for us .

2. Earlier 60% wokforce were engaged for cut n bend

activity and only 40% were on actual job of

erection. Even increasing workforce were not giving desired

speed of work .

3. Readybuild has helped his project in speeding at least

two times . Earlier if one span was taking four months

time now it is completed in 2 months.

4. Readybuild gave tidy look of project site which were

earlier clumsy. Since project site is visited by Chief minister

on regular basis tidy look of site is giving us confidence.

There is no scrap at site which is very good feel for visitors.

5. Pilferage has become zero..6. Now main parameter to judge performance of a project is

speed of work at site and for this Readybuild is right solution.

Case Study : River Ganga Rail cum Road Bridge, Patna

Mr. P.K.Singh

Chief Engineer

Project “„River Ganga Rail cum Road

Bridge”

Pile Cap High wastage

Space constraints for storage, cutting,

bending of steel

Speed of construction

Zero wastage

No on-site storage & processing of steel

JIT supplies

Easy and faster fixing & installation

No multiple handling,storage and

transportation

Low labour involvement

Pier and Pier Cap

Wastage

Space constraints

Dimensional Accuracy of reinforcement

Speed of construction

High inventory at site

Zero wastage

No on-site storage & processing of steel

JIT supplies

Easy fixing/installation

Reduced inventory at site

Space Management is the biggest challenge in on-site

construction in elevated Viaduct job
