Understanding the conditions of the soil is important for producers to know what they should do during the growing season. Teralytic is bringing to the market the first soil sensors that can not only track moisture, but also 23 other data layers at specific points in the field. These sensors regularly transmit the data to a gateway using the LoRa network interface. LoRa is a long range wireless network for transmitting data to and from sensors to the internet used around the world. The gateway then transmits the data to the Teralytic servers sitting in the cloud. In the cloud, machine learning, AI, and Soil Science are combined to analyze the data received from the sensors. Information is then transmitted back to the grower and agronomist to help them make decisions on what to do in the field. The farmer can then act on the recommendations and changes are made to the field. The Teralytic sensors then record what happens and the cycle continues
