Reasons: How Education for All can Guarantee
a Progressive CountryGreat minds from the past have rightly quoted,
“Knowledge is power”.
Ensuring the right to basic knowledge through school and college based education should be the first duty of any government. With adequate literacy levels, good educational systems, any country can progress at an
envious rate.
But,
It is not always possible for the government to provide higher education to all.
Hence, a few NGOs of different MNCs have come up with the concept of Education for all, which is
supported by Reliance Foundation, wherein they aim to provide knowledge and lessons to different types of students, belonging to the weaker strata of the society.
The biggest problem for a country like India is employment. Employment opportunities are improved if people get degrees by enrolling themselves in degree colleges across the country.
A 12th pass qualification cannot lead them to much good, when it comes to attaining decent jobs.
Thus, degree and post-degree level education are nowadays becoming a mandate, for aspiring job candidates.
Usually, such courses are expensive and cannot be taken care of by the susceptible sections of society,
majority of which live in outskirts of cities or in rural areas.
Here is the need of a foundation or institute which would provide them with funding for such courses,
mentoring them to achieve good jobs.
