[reboot] YOUR LEADERSHIP STYLE [reboot] is a unique three day leadership adventure experience designed for managers and community leaders. Participants will explore the complexities and vulnerabilities required to lead and motivate people, as well as influence and cultivate the best out of their team. [reboot] is hosted by Fanshawe College President Peter Devlin, Lieutenant General (Retired), Canadian Army. PROGRAM THEMES PEOPLE AND CULTURE Culture plays a crucial role in shaping behaviour in organizations. Change leadership is the ability to influence and enthuse others through personal advocacy, vision and drive, and to access resources to build a solid platform for change. LEADERSHIP AND CHARACTER Character is an amalgamation of values, virtues and traits. It’s important to understand the character of those you are leading, as well as your own. INNOVATION AND MINDFULNESS Discover essential strategic and creative building blocks to cultivate a climate of innovation. Mindfulness training helps develop self-awareness, decision-making, innovation, compassion, courage and resilience — all essential qualities of a successful manager. PARTICIPANT PROFILE [reboot] was designed for business professionals in a mid-to-senior level management position. [reboot] is also beneficial for community leaders, human resource and training staff, or any employees aspiring to (or being targeted for) management positions. DAILY ACTIVITIES [reboot] equips participants with practical skills, promotes self-awareness and examines shared experiences. Daily activities will include a series of case studies and practical outdoor exercises designed to help participants identify their current leadership styles, as well as establish and work towards their personal leadership goals. [reboot] FEATURING…PETER DEVLIN PRESIDENT, FANSHAWE COLLEGE

Peter Devlin was appointed Fanshawe College’s fifth President effective September 2013. Prior to joining Fanshawe, President Devlin served 35 years in the Canadian Armed

Forces and retired commanding the Canadian Army at the rank of Lieutenant General. He has several UN, NATO and Coalition tours and his awards include Orders of Military Merit from the United States, Brazil and Colombia as well as the Canadian Meritorious Service Cross and commander of the Canadian Order of Military Merit.

STEPHEN BAHMCO-FACILITATOR

Stephen is a skilled facilitator, with a passion for developing leaders. He has a unique style and proven track record in shifting participant perspectives and behaviours by leading activities that stretch participants in experiential situations.

CHERYL DEHOOGCO-FACILITATOR

Cheryl demonstrates strengths in leading decisively, thriving in chaos, inspiring others, exercising political influence and initiating independently. She is a collaborative, strategic yet practical individual who has exceptional communication, facilitation, people and project management skills.
