I understand and trust that initiative is the people's prerogative - but it appears that this last effort carried (circulated) by Mary Creighton, Marla Dana, Annette Newell, Joyce Tomah, Thomas Altvater, Tanya Smith, Janelle Sapiel, and Mary Graham (according to clerk these folks circulated the petition), many have been hoodwinked. I have since heard from several people who stated that they had signed one for another person, another complaint, but their names appear on this petition no less. It's a patch work of petition signatures from what I can gather, which compromises the process for "initiative." When asked about this, I say, I don't subscribe to the politics of hate, because if you do, it only results in splintering the community and governance.
