Location

Our film will be set in a walkway with many trees because it sets the scene of a horror type genre. Also this is where the Silhouette Man is introduced into the film. This setting makes the atmosphere more mysterious and creepy, as the lighting is very limited and the are is very enclosed.

Sound

Depending on how many people are in the area when we are filming there could be noise interference from members of the public. The area we are filming in is next to an open field where people walk their dogs so there is also a risk of sound interference from them. Our filming location is also very close to a car park and a main road so there is also a risk of sound interference from cars.

Lighting

The area we are filming in is shadowed by trees at certain times of the day but it not dark enough for us to need to use any extra lighting.

Access and availability

The location we are filming at is walking distance from the college so we won’t need to use any transport to get there. Having our location so close to us means we can easily go back and film some more if we need to.

The location we are filming at is also available to use at all times so which makes it easier for us to schedule when we are going to film.

Permissions

To be able to film at our chosen locations we will need to get a permission from the borough authority that handles filming permissions in the area we are filming in.

The local borough authority for both our film location is the Bexley Film Office.

Backup location.

In case we couldn’t use our initial location we planned a backup location. Our backup location is a children's park, close to our primary location.

This area is fully exposed to sunlight and no lighting would be needed.

It is quite far from any roads so there wouldn’t be much sound interference cars but it is in a public park where people lots of people walk their dogs so there is a chance that there might be interruption from dogs and their owners.

Access and availability of backup location

Like our primary location our second location is within walking distance from us and is available to use all day.

Space

Our primary location has a lot of open space next to it so we have more than enough room to set up equipment.

Our secondary location is a lot smaller but again there is enough open space for to film comfortably.
