Dear Sir, Madame, We have recently performed work on Claim Number S984902. Rock Formation: Greywacke. The work was performed on an outcrop with the strike being 28 0 True North dipping at 200 in the northerly direction. The outcrop is 65 meters long and is 7 meters wide at the area of drilling. The East side slopes down at 600 and disappears under the overburden. The west side is a sharp drop off of l .5 meters and disappears under the overburden. The overburden in both cases appears light as it supports only small trees and blueberry patches. The neighbouring outcrops run in the same direction and are of different heights and lengths. The outcrop to the West runs parallel at 70 meters and appears to have the same kind of veins as the outcrop that we worked on. We worked on four veins three being quartz and one being carbonated calcite, they dip at 570 towards the south and run in an arc manor from east to west. We drilled one hole 45mm x 600 mm deep and perpendicularly down per vein for a total of four holes. The veins are l to 1.5 meters apart and the holes were drilled south side of the veins in order to get samples of the veins at the greatest depth possible. The blasting exposed fine grain pyrite at 200 mm below the surface and I would judge it to be crack filling much like on claims 1197293 and 1197291. The crack filling is apparent on all four holes. Also noted were chalcopyrite and sulphur. The best samples of the four holes were combined into one and submitted to the laboratory for analyses.
