You can tell you have E. Coli if you have:- Diarrhea
- Stomach cramps
- Constant vomiting
- Fever

We know that :- Children and senior citizens are less immune to it
- Is closely related to HUS
HUS:- Often occurs in a body after E. coli
- Is caused by kidney failure
- Is common in children
- Symptoms are: paleness, tired, irritable, unexpected bruises, and blood from nose or mouth
CAUSES OF E. COLI
E. Coli can be received from:- Animals at petting zoos or barns
- Bad food, such as raw meat and unwashed fruits/vegetables
- Other people that are already infected
HOW TO PREVENT E.COLI
You prevent E.coli by:- washing your hands often (especially after contact with
animals, and before and after eating)
- You can kill E. coli pathogens with heat
