The Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer'sPrevention (WRAP) is a longitudinal cohort study involvingmiddle-aged adult children with parents with Alzheimer'sdisease. WRAP is funded by the National Institute of Healthand is a premiere program seeking to understand the lifestyleand health factors that determine whether a person developsAlzheimer's disease. WRAP has enrolled over 1,500 personsfrom throughout Wisconsin who travel to Madison toparticipate. The main goal of WRAP is to understand thefactors (biological, medical, environmental, and lifestylechoices) that increase a person's risk of developingAlzheimer's disease. This is a first step in developinginterventions that may protect against developing Alzheimer'sdisease.

This records series pertains to all studies which are createdunder the WAI. An example would be the research studiessuch as WRAP. (Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer'sPrevention).
