The Program Objectives
1.- To favor the reduction of the digital divide with groups in risk of social exclusion and/or areas deteriorated or needed intervention, to improve its social inclusion.
2.- To improve the employability of young people, long duration unemployed and women
3.- To take advantage of the potential and proximity of the organizations rooted in the territory
4.- To eliminate mental and physical barriers in the use of ITC's by different groups (Immigrants, elderly people, disable …)

Digital literacy as a way to favour social inclusion
Women over 45, immigrants, people who are unemployed or want to find a new job, elderly people, youth at risk of social exclusion, poverty pockets and people from disadvantatged neighbourhoods.

The host organisation is usually working for social inclusion. Each telecentre is fully integrated in these programmes, which makes synergies possible

ShortcomingsThe user must be self-sufficient.
It doesn’t enhance knowledge or abilities.
It is limited to individual usage, with no communitarian outlook
