INTERRUPTED (A Work-In-Progress Performance)
This is everything we know about this piece:- It is meant to explore death. Or life. Living. Legacy. Something along those lines.
- It's meant to explore the answers (but doesn't guarantee them) to the big questions like: Are we meant to return sympathy phone calls? Is it okay to mourn through both religious custom and pop culture? And just how exactly are we meant to display condolence cards?! Combining humour with heartache, storytelling with spoken word, Interrupted playfully opens the floodgates to admin after death.

YIELDDespite being proud of her roots, fifteen year old Zoe Carsell aspires to a better life away from her East London estate. Encouraged by her mother Donna and grandad Stan, Zoe is committed to making a success of her GCSEs and taking the first steps toward a bright future. Behind the scenes however, all is not too rosy. Facing the threat of eviction, a difficult job market, benefit cuts and with the recent release on licence of Zoe’s father Malky, the Carsell family have tough choices to make as they navigate their way through a life-defining summer... can they make it out the other side? And if so, where will they end up and at what price? This provocative new play explores the housing crisis and its web of interrelated issues, through the eyes of the Carsells and their struggles not to yield to the range of social and economic pressures mounted against them. Written by RDC’s Resident Playwright, Steve Casey, YIELD is supported by Arts Council England.

Gather round for the Moon’s magical story about a tippetty-top tap dancer who he has been watching at night. Marina Skippett creeps out of her house every night to shuffle and stomp on the boardwalk to the sounds of the sea. She can’t tap dance at home any more since her evil Aunty banned it.
But then, one moonlit night, Marina meets a mysterious, watery boy swimming in the sea and her life is never the same again!
Featuring stunning puppets, original live music and tap dancing that will make you want to stick 50ps to your shoes and join in!

THE SCARECROWS WEDDING
Betty OBarley and Harry OHay are excellent scarecrows (they scare a lot of crows). Harry loves Betty, and Betty loves Harry, so they decide to get married and Harry sets off to search for their wedding day essentials including a dress of feathers, a bunch of flowers and a necklace made from shells.
However, when the farmer notices he is missing a scarecrow, he replaces Harry with the devilishly smooth but dangerous Reginald Rake. Dashing, daring and ever so cool, can Reginald persuade Betty that he is the scarecrow for her? Will Harry make it back in the nick of time before Reginald ruins their special day?
This truly heart-warming adaptation of Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler’s bestselling book is bursting at the seams with Scamp Theatre’s inimitable style and promises wit, drama, and wedding bells!

The show happens on a small tropical island stage, complete with two palm trees, which double as hammock anchors and slackrope ends. Kept on the island by a shark in the audience, our castaway makes friends with Larry, a lobster and struggles to survive. Every time he retires to his hammock he wakes up years later with a longer beard, clothes more dishevelled and with another crazy plan. Eventually, after walking an impossibly wobbly rope between the trees, he discovers treasure and wakes Larry’s big sister.
