Wipro Ltd is a global information technology, consulting and outsourcing

company with 160,000+ workforce serving clients in 175+ cities across 6

continents. The company posted revenues of $7.6 billion for the financial

year ended Mar 31, 2015. Wipro is globally recognized for its innovative

approach towards delivering business value and its commitment to sus-

tainability. Wipro champions optimized utilization of natural resources,

capital and talent.

The client was looking for automating the process with the backbone of a

tool which smoothly integrates all the recruitment modules, offering great

usability and ease of navigation. In the first phase, Candidate portal and

business portal was offered and more customizations are to be imple-

mented in the subsequent phasees. Alt Recruit had a lot of customizable

features, providing better focus based on the business needs. There was

notable improvement in the metrics like FTE Cost, quality etc.

The company focused majorly on adding greater depth to its talent pool.

It wanted to pursue the twin strategies of right skilling of its employees

and recruitment of technically proficient professionals.

Hiring the best in class manpower through rigorous screening , selec-

tion & streamlined recruiting processes for various niche Business

services positions was done.

The Problem Statement

Wipro’s major challenge was to introduce a recruitment tool in the sys-

tem which provides ease of navigation between modules, and offers pro-

visions for customization

Other focus areas were :

To increase quality of hire with cost in control

To enrich business and candidate hiring experience

Integrate one stop technology solution to reduce time to hire

Enable hiring decisions based on analytics

A huge manpower requirement, strict deadlines, and specific skill require-

ments were some of the factors that led to the client’s decision to outsource

its hiring needs to PeopleStrong with access to larger talent database and

wide presence pan India. We worked closely with the client’s leadership team

to understand their objectives, requirements and the culture of the organiza-

tion to find the right fit candidates. This also helped in increasing manager’s

satisfaction and reduce attrition. We implemented our RPO model following
