    thenearesttubeorboxofwormerandjustcallitaday.Afterall,awormerisawormer brandnamesarejustthe

    sameproductsofferedbydifferentcompanies,right?Asconvenientasitwouldbewerethatquestiontrue,the

    answerisno.

    Manyofuswillinitiallycomparetwotypesofwormerstobenodifferentthanunleadedgasolineversussu

    unleadedgasoline;onemightbeofaslightlyhigherquality,buttheyservethesamepurposeandthebenefitsofth

    higherpricedversionarearguable.Inrealityabetteranalogywouldbethedifferencebetweengasolineandoil;bo

    areverysimilarandarenecessarytomakeyourcarrunwell,buttheyarenotinterchangeableastheyservetwo

    distinctlydifferentpurposes.

    Continuingwiththecaranalogyforjustalittlelonger,horsewormersshareacommonpurposeinensurin

    yourhorse"runs"wellbyremovingparasitesfromhisbody,butsinceeachtargetsaseparatesetofparasiteseachshouldbeconsideredauniqueandnecessaryproduct.Withthisinmind,itshouldnowbeclearwhyaproperparapreventionprogramrotateshorsewormersregularly.

    Unfortunatelylearningaboutparasitesisaboutasenjoyableformostofusasvisitingthedentist!Thankfulthisarticlewillgiveyouthe"CliffNotes"versionofparasitepreventionbyexplainingexactlywhichparasiteseachhorsewormertargets,savingyoutimeandallowingyoutomoveontomoreenjoyabletopics!
