Once the fiber optic cable is installed, a simple way to keep the dirt and water from getting inside of the MicroDuct is installing a MicroDuct / MicroCable Sealing End Cap. No tools required and quick to install. The jell inside does not stick to your hands, but molds around the MicroDuct and fiber optic cable to stop any contaminates from getting inside of the MicroDuct.!!

MicroDucts Mounting Bracket!!

At the MDU locations a method is needed to secure the MicroDucts, organize, and keep them organized. Dura-Line developed a bracket system that will securely hold the MicroDucts in place and avoid possible damages or even fiber breakage. Each bracket will securely hold 8 MicroDucts and is modular, customize for each site.!!

Depending on your specific project applications, you can choose from a 12.7mm or the 8.5mm MicroDuct Mounting Bracket. The brackets work with both the Riser and Plenum rated MicroDucts.!!

This red straight MicroDuct cutter is a simple tool. Just open the cutter and place the MicroDuct inside and close. This cutter gives a very nice 90 degree cut which is required at the MicroDuct splice point.

This round cutter differs from the straight cutter in that it cuts just the MicroDuct itself, not the MicroCable or pull string inside. The round cutter has a blade and guides which will not allow the blade to cut any deeper than the wall of the MicroDuct itself.

Both cutters are designed for all MicroDuct sizes.

This unique process confidently provides easy access to the pull line regardless of how many runs are originated. By placing extra pull line footage evenly in the duct during the manufacturing process, Dura-line s EVEN-LOAD Slack Process ensures slack in the tape at any access point throughout the duct reel. EVEN-LOAD is included in all ducts ordered with any of the approved tapes.!

REEL RETURN!Dura-Line shall extend a reel credit to all Verizon locations for each steel reel returned to Dura-Line per the following requirements for which a credit amount of $80.00 per reel shall be remitted. Verizon s representative shall assure through visual inspection that all reels to be returned for credit shall be sent to the original supplier of the reels and that they will meet the following criteria:!

!(1) The flanges and ribs are not to be broken.!(2) The diameters are not to be flat between spokes.!(3) The arbor hole is not to exhibit variation in its ovality.!(4) All welds are to be intact with no visible cracks or separations.!(5) All cross members are to be secured at all locations with bolts and lock nuts.!(6) In the event reels are broken down by Verizon prior to return shipment, all cross members must be included to receive credit.!

!Returned reels not meeting the above requirements will not receive credit consideration and may be assessed a disposal fee not to exceed $20.00. Verizon s transportation representative shall have the authority to !arrange for the return shipment of reels to the Supplier F.O.B. Destination, !Prepaid and Allowed and assure the Bill of Lading lists quantity of reels !shipped by Verizon.!

Credit shall be issued for each Verizon location from which shipments originated. Supplier shall total the amount due to Verizon, subtract all freight costs incurred by Supplier (if applicable) for the return of empty reels, and issue a credit to Verizon for the difference. Each credit shall include the amounts and sizes of reels returned from that Verizon location. Credits will be issued via a check issues to Verizon and will be processed no more frequently than quarterly and not less frequently than semi-annually.!
