Items you can recycle
Reggie's top recycling tips
Recycle in every room of your houseMake it easy by placing a bin for recyclables in your kitchen, bathroom, laundry and garage. Don’t forget that empty aerosol cans can be recycled.
Don’t bag your recyclablesPlastic bags can’t be opened for safety reasons and items go to landfill instead. Reuse your plastic bags at home or take them to your nearest supermarket for recycling.
Recycle your kitchen wasteComposting and worm farming can turn your kitchen and garden waste into nutrient rich mulch and fertilizer and reduces waste going to landfill.
Know what can be recycled Be informed and know what can and what can’t go into your recycling. Refer over page for an A-Z list and check out Council's website for more information.
Reuse milk cartons for seedling planters
Use glass jars for storage containers at home
Borrow magazines from Council libraries
Old clothes, toys and furniture can be donated to charity or upcycled into something new
