Simultaneously, King MPC Valencia Branch answered the call to support the
LGU on COVID–19 by providing hygiene kits to 1,160 households of Brgy. Lumbayao, Valencia City, as identified by the LGU. This barangay has already a positive case of COVID–19 and in dire need of help.
In the same way, King MPC also happily extended financial support to its federation, Model Cooperative Network (MCN), to defray the expenses of the temporary shelter for the SPMC Hospital front liners in Davao City. At the forefront of the project is the Ateneo de Davao Employees Credit Coop and UKC Multipurpose Cooperative.
To top it all, the Board of Directors of King MPC approved the extension of COVID financial assistance to its Members in Good Standing (MIGS), a financial provision to mitigate the adverse effects of the pandemic on their income.
