Heads/OIC (Public Elementary, Junior and Senior High Schools) School Paper Advisers Campus Journalists 1. The Schools Division of Imus City ranked Third (3 rd ) Performing Division in the recently concluded 2016 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) in the whole Region IV-A CALABARZON for SY 2016-2017. To maintain the good standing of the Division when it comes to Campus Journalism, this office shall conduct the 2017 DIVISION TRAINING ON CAMPUS JOURNALISM FOR SCHOOL PAPER ADVISERS (SPAs) in English and Filipino, both Elementary, Junior and Senior High Schools, on August 17-19, 2017 at Governor DM Camerino Elementary School, Medicion, City of Imus, Cavite. 2. This is a free training activity for SPAs to hone their journalistic skills and technical competence in various aspects of newspaper works. At the same time this will help promote a high degree of competitiveness among them. 3. The training will cover the eleven (11) events in English and Filipino Categories namely: 3.1 News writing 3.2 Editorial Writing 3.3 Feature Writing 3.4 Copy Reading and Headline Writing 3.5 Sports Writing 3.6 Editorial cartooning 3. 7 Photojournalism 3.8 Science and Health Writing 3.9 Radio Broadcasting 3.10 3.11 TV Broadcasting Collaborative Publishing PU ��= 4. The participants to the said training are the declared School Paper Advisers ( SPAs) from Public Elementary, Junior High School and Senior High School. 5. SPAs who will attend to the said training are the ones allowed only to participate as coach in the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference to be held on September 4,5 and 16, 2017. 189
