Technical assistance on Oil Spill Response Preparedness
At the request of Colombia government represenatives, provide an introduction to RAC/REMPEITC, regional OPRC Plans, Special Team for Spill Response and Drills and Exercises to DIMAR and other Colombia agencies with spill planning and response roles.
One day workshop was instrumential in building relations, helping Colombia finalize their revised national contingency plan, and develop a national exercise to test the plan. Addtionally, the concept for a future regional IMO OPRC workshop was proposed.

Regional Workshop on Port Reception Facilities and Waste Management
