The Kenya PolytechnicUniversity College
INTRODUCTION
The Kenya Polytechnic University College is mandated to offer technology and vocational education and training from basic level of training a technician to the highest possible level. Our syllabuses are designed to facilitate credit transfer from one level to the next. In addition KPUC has developed syllabuses to upgrade technicians who hold diploma for example, to technologists with bachelor’s qualification. Similarly, a technologist has opportunity to register for postgraduate education. The University College admits KCSE graduates and certificate holders from other TVET institutions.

APPLICATION PROCEDUREPlease read the application procedure below for further guidance:
1. ADVERTISEMENT IN THE PRESS: We shall advertise Programmes in the local dailies in March (for May intake), in July (for September intake), and in October (for January intake). The July/August/September 2012 intake is ongoing.
2. APPLICATION: Prospective students shall apply for the courses of their choice by completing the application coupon. The coupon is available alongside, at the Admissions Office in the Main Campus, or on our website (http://www.kenyapolytechnic.ac.ke). The completed coupon should be accompanied by copies of ACADEMIC CERTIFICATES, ID CARD and a bank deposit slip of NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE of Kshs 2,000/= and should be addressed to the SENIOR ASSISTANT REGISTRAR – STUDENT RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSIONS.
3. SELECTION: The Faculty Academic Board will sit and select the applicants who meet the stipulated entry requirements. The successful applicants will be notified through the addresses they shall have provided (Postal and E-mail). The unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
4. REGISTRATION: The successful applicants will be required to formally register for the programmes for which they have been called, upon receipt of the calling letter. This is upon payment of the statutory fees and the tuition fees. The deadline for registration will be indicated.
