Manufacturers or importers must ensure that the Gas Equipment conforms to the technical standards established by Ordinance.

May affix labels to the Gas Equipment pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance.

Based on this inspection standard, JIA conducts the functional test, corrosion resistance test, etc. for overpressure protection device. Inspection Items; ○ Structure, Material, Product Label ○ Performance Airtightness, Working torque, Operation of overpressure protection devices, etc All the portable gas cookers with LPG cartridge distributed in Japan have the overpressure protection devices which comply with the inspection standard.
