Markets rebounded swiftly today and gained over half a percent. The upbeat trade deficit figure aided a firm start which was supported by select index majors. Mostly sectoral indices traded in line with the benchmark and ended higher. Besides, recovery in the midcap and smallcap space added to the positivity.
We feel the consolidation is not over yet and its range has slightly broadened now. A decisive move above 8850 in Nifty will trigger further up move else range bound bias will continue. Amidst all, stocks are witnessing moves on both sides so traders should focus more on trade management and maintain a balanced portfolio.

Investment Pick - Sutlej Textiles
Sutlej Textiles Industries Ltd (STIL) reported subdued numbers for Q3FY17 with a revenue and PAT de-growth of 2% & 1.5% YoY. While the revenue growth was
marginally better, profit growth (both at operating and net level) was below our estimates. EBITDA margin declined by 61bps YoY to 12%.
With market leadership, diversified offerings of value added products, strong clientele and steady capacity addition, STIL is well placed to exploit the available
opportunities in the Textile industry. We are keeping our projections for FY18E and FY19E unchanged, since we expect a meaningful revival in growth from Q1FY18. Maintain BUY with target price of Rs 1,032.
