Roller Management and Maintenance
Our conveyor roller services division provides cost effective, safe and innovative roller maintenance
and replacement services that align to our clients’ needs. We maintain the highest standard of safety
using our fully trained and competent team and are committed to continuous improvement through
innovative tooling. We also offer innovative monitoring solutions such as roller thermography, failure
analysis, acoustic monitoring and an automated, electronic reporting system for instant feedback.
Cleaner Maintenance
Operating with inadequately maintained belt cleaning systems can lead to costly conveyor component
failures. Our cleaner maintenance service provides specialised conveyor belt cleaning services that
deliver measurable benefits and optimal performance. We are dedicated to producing overall solutions
to all applications of belt cleaning systems including advice, installation and maintenance services
of all brands of cleaners. We have capability extending from cleaner adjustment and refurbishment
through to full scale product supply, planning, maintenance scheduling, inspections and reporting.
Belt Tracking
A number of issues can affect the ability of the conveyor belt to track correctly. As part of our
inspection regime, belt tracking issues are identified and reported. Corrective action for each of
these issues are readily determined when particular causes are identified. Our service teams are
specially trained through our internal RTO in techniques to overcome any tracking issues.
Condition Monitoring
Condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography and cleaner
carry-back testing are deployed maximising the ability to identify defective or underperforming
components and assets. Our highly trained and experienced team consists of degree qualified
mechanical engineers as well as experienced condition monitoring and alignment technicians.

Conveyor Inspections
We offer conveyor inspections including a visual check of conveyor condition. We inspect all static and
dynamic components including conveyor idlers, skirts, belt cleaning systems, structures to gantry level,
conveyor belt tracking, pulleys and bearings, guarding and the conveyor drive (gearbox, motors and
couplings). Inspection data is used to create various reports utilising a traffic light system to prioritise
repair and maintenance requirements. Where definitive condition based results are needed, objective
measurement and additional reports can be produced to determine the lifecycle of certain critical items.
Belt Installations
We can provide you with an end-to-end solution for your belt installation, belt splicing and belt replacement
needs. This encompasses the ability to manage the project through our competent team and detailed
processes, as well as providing splicing services to meet any belt installation and performance requirement.
Our service is performed by our highly trained team adhering to strict quality, safety and process
guidelines. Our various methodologies have proven highly successful and we have demonstrated
reduced shutdown window times by up to 90% compared to conventional practices.
Belt Maintenance
REMA TIP TOP provides a premium service in belt repairs that maximises belt utilisation. We use a range
of hot and cold belt repair techniques on all conveyor belt types. Our belt repair service capability extends
to one off belt repair on a specific conveyor through to the management of all onsite repair needs.

Conveyor belt cleaning systems are one of the most critical components of a conveyor system in terms of their ability to drive operational costs down and improve conveyor performance and safety. Efficient conveyor belt cleaning systems extend the service life of the conveyor belt, reduce clean-up costs and improve overall plant performance, safety and environmental impacts. In the industrial world, corrosion causes millions of dollars of damage every year. REMA TIP TOP corrosion protection systems prevent such damage and maintain the value of your plant while contributing to environmental protection.
SURFACE PROTECTION
Rubber liningThe proven REMA TIP TOP corrosion and wear protection rubber cladding offers your plant, process vessels and storage tanks, flue gas scrubbers, thickeners and pipelines dependable and long-term protection against abrasives and chemicals. Our highly-trained personnel advise, install and support our customers in a flexible manner and with a markedly high degree of technical competence. CoatingsOur REMA TIP TOP coating systems offer optimal corrosion resistance. Through innovative formulations high diffusion resistances a long service life can be achieved. Specifically developed systems can also be used at operating temperatures of over 200 °C. The coating systems may be applied to steel and concrete surfaces. Application usually is carried out seamlessly using a special spray technology. Also coatings that cure in a few seconds even in sub-zero temperatures are available. Brick and tile liningsOur internally developed acid-proof claddings offer high chemical resistance in addition to protection against thermal and mechanical stresses. Our acid-resistant brick linings are mainly used in pickling plants, sulfuric and phosphoric acid plants, in flue gas cleaning systems and many other areas.Our experienced constructors and application engineers of acid-resistant equipment exactly analyse local exposures and work out, based on the total process management, the ideal composition of the materials.
Adhesives
Our market leading range of adhesives are developed by our chemical engineering innovation team, alfaDevelopment. It produces the most trusted bonding strength for belt splicing and large rubber lining projects, with excellent initial and final bonding strength. Our adhesives are CHC free, and we have cleaning solvents available. Our adhesives are approved for underground coal applications.
Wear Protection
The production and processing of raw and aggregated materials, intermediate products, and excavated waste, causes damaging wear to unprotected parts of the plant. For years, we have supported the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. No one ever has to pay to be assisted by the Service because of the support of people in the community. We proudly promote its payroll deduction scheme, and couple this with corporate donations. We understand in this industry the importance of having a dedicated rescue helicopter service.
