Warranty ProcessAt time of concern, customer must call the Mascot Warranty Helpline (800-668-5560) for technical assistance and real-time review. A Warranty Return Authorization (WRA) may be issued. The WRA is a tracking number only and does not entitle coverage. Diagnosis and responsibility may not be determined until product is returned. The warranty agent will assist with ordering a replacement product for im-mediate delivery. Attempting repairs or replacement without a WRA will void any warranty. Coverage com-plies with Mascot’s current warranty statement and is extended from date of purchase.

Remanufactured Transmission and Differentials
Mascot Truck Parts warrants to all customers for a period of 24 full months, unlimited mileage, that Mascot rebuilt transmissions and differentials will be free of defects in material and workmanship. The 24 month period begins on the date of sale to the final end user/owner.
Remanufactured units used at anytime for off-road ap-plications will be covered by a three (3) month warranty. This includes dump trucks and tractors pulling dump trailer and other unlicensed “Pit Truck” applications etc.
Exclusions: Warranty will only cover complete units and not partial components i.e. Fuller auxiliary section of complete transmission or power divider assemblies, which are part of the complete forward differential of a tandem, are not covered by warranty.
Warranty does not cover oil seal failures. All transmis-sions and differentials are supplied with new oil seals. Defective seals must be reported before yoke is installed. Speedy or “Redi” sleeves can cause damage to oil seals. Improper yoke installation can cause damage to oil seals.
Warranty does not cover failure due to: (1) lack of lubrication, (2) excessive heat, (3) improper installation, (4) shocks and spin-out, (5) driver error, (6) towing, (7) P.T.O. improperly installed, (8) oil seal failures.
Warranty does not cover downtime — towing — unau-thorized repairs.
Airlines, valves, shift covers, two speed motors, lockout assemblies, front and rear retainers etc., vary and may be supplied when available. We cannot assume responsibil-ity if cosmetics are incorrect. It is good practice to try an axle shaft, yokes, etc. The warranty is to protect against defects in workmanship not installation errors.
When installing any new or rebuilt unit, speedometer drive and driven gears and all spacers must be installed before yokes are fitted and nuts are torqued. These items are sometimes returned to Mascot on the core and dam-age to rebuilt replacement has already been extensive. Failure to install these items voids all warranties.
The warranty will not extend beyond the original expiry date and is not transferable from the intended first user. This is the only warranty granted by Mascot Truck Parts, any further allowances made or given are not binding on Mascot Truck Parts.
This warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warran-ties, expressed or implied. NOTE: UNITS ARE SUPPLIED DRY. FILL WITH LUBRICANT AS SPECIFIED BY VEHICLE MANUFACTURER. NEVER DISMANTLE OR ALTER A UNIT THAT IS SUSPECT OF A WARRANTY ADJUSTMENT. THIS ACTION, WITHOUT WRITTEN APPROVAL, VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES.
Remanufactured Steering Components
