REMEMBERING OUR LOVED ONES Luther High School Keeping Christ in High School Education This past March, in Peoria, IL, Luther High School’s Robotics Team - igKnightion 4021 - competed in their most successful tournament yet! Team 4021 roared through the qualification rounds finishing with a record of 9-1. During the tournament igKnightion’s robot lit up the scoreboard securing the 2nd team ranking out of 40. In playoff competition igKnightion and their alliance won the first round in a best-of-three thriller. However, the championship charge ended in the semi-finals with a 2-1 loss. Despite not advancing to the National Com- petition, igKnightion was proud of how their season ended. Thanks to all who contributed to this year’s great success! Some of our students will take their talents and gifts in programming and robotics to the next level as they continue to pursue these fields at college. God has richly blessed our school with stu- dents and mentors dedicated to excellence in robotics. ROBOTICS GROUND BREAKING Please join us on Sunday, May 15, 2016 (stay tuned for times) in the ACE Gymnasium at Luther High School for a ground break- ing celebration for phase 1 of the Rise Up & Build project. This is a very exciting time for Luther and we would love for you to be there as we start this new venture!
