Remembrance Day...Remembrance Day Remembrance Poppies After the end of the First World War, poppies grew on the battlefields. Now, people wear poppies to remember the people who died.
The significance of the poppy is that the poppies grow at ANZAC cove were the ANZACS fought in the war so we use poppies as the flower of remembrance.
