In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

O GOD! (Ay Khodā)

O God! O You whose grace and favor is suitable for every need! It is not permitted to mention anyone together with You.

You have given this amount of right guidance, and You have covered up many of our faults until this moment.

As for the drop of spiritual knowledge that you gave us before, unite it with Your oceans! [1:1880-82]O God! O You whose goodness is eternal! That which I know and that which I don’t

are both Yours. [3:331]Besides You, before whom can a servant lift his hands? Both the prayer and the reply are from You.You give both the inclination for prayer at the beginning, and You give the recompense for prayer in the

end. You are the First and the Last, while we in between are nothing—a nothing that is not suitable for

PREFACE TO THE ENGLISH EDITION

This collection of daily litanies [awrād], entitled “Remembrances and Invocations” [Zikr wa Du`ā] has been compiled by our beloved friend and teacher, Dr. Rawān Farhādī. We are all greatly blessed and grateful for this work, which is the fruit of a lifetime of study of the Qur’ān al-Karīm. He has selected most of the prayer invocations in the Qur’ān. The selection is the result of many years of thoughtful studies of the Qur’ān.

The “Remembrances and Invocations” have been divided into seven sections: one for each day of the week. This was done out of consideration for the busy pace of modern life. Certainly, if one makes the intention [niyyah] to read or recite a particular daily litany [wird], one should try to complete it (preferably in Arabic; otherwise, in English, which ever is easiest) during the early morning. However, if there is sufficient time, more than one daily litany can certainly be read or recited—even the entire book. And for those who have more time than that, the entire collection can be read or recited every day. There is no relationship between the seven days of the week and the selected verses from the Qur’ān; rather, the order of sequence is based solely on the recommendations of the compiler, Dr. Farhādī.

We ask that all future editions or versions of this English translation continue to retain the Arabic texts and to keep them to the right of the translations, in order to encourage reading, or learning to read, the original language of the Holy Qur’ān.

My gratitude to Allāh Most High is great for the blessed opportunity to offer the English translation of these selected holy verses, so many of which are extraordinarily beautiful, and very reassuring to the heart.

This English translation is intended for English readers everywhere, especially those living in English-speaking countries such as the U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, etc. It is hoped that it will also be an incentive for Muslim scholars in other countries to publish the Arabic text together with translations into Urdu, Bengali, Malay, Indonesian, Turkish, and other languages of the Islamic world, inshā’ ‘llāh.

Thanks are also due to the translations of the Holy Qur’ān that were consulted (such as by Yusuf Ali, Muhammad Asad, Marmaduke Pickthall, A. J. Arberry, and others), as well as the compilers of Arabic dictionaries and Qur’anic glossaries consulted many hundreds of times.

The Arabic text is from the Internet; it was corrected and improved by I.W.G. Although Unicode format lacks some of the characters necessary to encode the Qur’ān properly, every effort has been made to increase fidelity.

INTRODUCTION

May the blessings and peace of God be upon the most noble of the prophets and messengers, and upon the pure members of his family, and upon his companions, until the Day of Judgment!

Recitations from the Glorious Qur’ān

God commands in His Book: “Therefore, recite from the Qur’ān that which is easy for you” (73:20). Obedience to this Divine command is among the required duties.

Praise, invocation, and glorification of the Sustainer, glorified and exalted is He

God commands in His Noble Qur’ān: “O you who believe, remember God with many invocations!” (33:41). “And celebrate the praise of your Sustaining Lord” (40:55, and in other places in the Noble Qur’ān).

Praises, invocations, and glorifications are included, some that begin with the word, “Say (O Muhammad)!” [qul]. And this is the command of God to him and the Muslims.

Therefore, praise and invocation and glorification of God is an obligatory part of the religion of Islam. And this is why the Muslim who has awareness and pious fear of God recites the following prayer, or a similar expression, within the heart every moment of the night and day (or if alone, out loud):

ربکاا Kهdلاا وو ، هdلاا mالlاا 1هـلlاا kال ، هـل5ل دمحلاا وو هdلاا نناحبKس

subḥāna ‘llāh wa ’l-ḥamdu li-’llāh, lā ilāha illā ‘llāh, wa ‘llāhu akbarGlory be to God and to God is the praise! There is no divinity but God, and God is Most Great!

The pious believer should recite this invocation and prayer, which is based upon expressions in the Noble Qur’ān, after the five ritual prayers. This is confirmed by the words, “...and glorify your Lord with praises... and (also) after the (required) prostrations” [adbāra ‘s-sujūd, Q.50:39-40].

Prayers at His Gate, exalted and glorified is His Rank

God, glorified and exalted is He, gave the command in the Noble Qur’ān:

“And your Sustaining Lord says, ‘Pray to Me: I will respond to you’” (40:60, a revelation in Mecca).

In regard to who is praying, meaning the speaker, Qur’anic prayers are of two kinds:

—First, those invocations [du’ā] that are recited for the sake of seeking the blessing of the Sustainer by a solitary person or in a group of Muslims (and also when the ritual prayer leader raises his hands in prayer after the ritual prayer). Some of these verses may be recited in a loud voice (under the address, “O our Sustaining Lord!” [Rabba-nā]).

—Second, those prayers that are recited by a solitary person, presented as if one is in front of the Gate of the Sustainer (under the address, “O my Sustaining Lord!” [Rabb-ī]).

In both forms of prayer, the one addressed is God, the Possessor of Majesty.

Recitations for the Days of the Week

The daily recitations in this sacred collection of verses are from Saturday to Friday and include:

Verses 1. The Chapter of the “Opening” [Fātiha] (1) and the Chapter of “Purity” [Ikhlās] (112) Sacred verses that invoke the Name of God Most High, with the address, “He is God!” [Huwa ‘llāh] 3. Verses beginning, “O our Sustaining Lord!” [“Rabba-nā] for a solitary person or in a group4. Verses beginning, “O my Sustaining Lord!” [Rabb-ī], for a solitary person5. Other sacred verses contained in this collection: —Verses of Divine guidance —Divine addresses to the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him)

In this edition, the English translation is placed in the left column, followed by the verse number (in cases of multiple verses, only the number of the beginning verse appears), so that it is easy to refer to the original Arabic of the holy text that is placed in the right column. The book reads from right to left.

The best hours of recitation are after the early morning [fajr] ritual prayer (and prior to the early morning prayer during the season of long nights).

The reciter should also take the opportunity and time to be able to complete the recitation of the other verses of the Qur’ān in addition to these verses by means of the following:

(1) The recitation of the Holy Qur’ān from the Arabic text and reading translations and commentaries.(2) The prayers based on the noble Prophetic Traditions [Ḥadīth] (of which there are many collections).

Sacred verses that appear in framed boxes

In this collection, in particular cases of weekday recitations, a number of sacred verses of the Qur’ān are contained in rectangular frames. The intention of this is that the reciter should commit to memory these sacred verses that appear within frames and recite them by heart. This endeavor should be accomplished after the passage of several months.

One should be able to recite these sacred verses in a variety of situations:

(1) Following the Chapter of the Opening [Fātiha] during the first and second sections [rakàt] of the obligatory ritual prayer and during the Sunna prayers.(2) When one becomes the prayer-leader [imām], during an obligatory ritual prayer after the recitation of the Chapter of the Opening.(3) In a funeral prayer gathering.(4) In a sermon to Muslims.

A Reminder to those who have memorized the Noble Qur’ān

Any persons who, by the blessing of the Sustainer, have succeeded in memorizing the entire Noble Qur’ān (or are currently progressing toward this goal) certainly must recite the blessed text in accordance the sequence of the verses of the Noble Qur’ān they have memorized. The recitation of this manual of daily invocations and prayers of

the Noble Qur’ān is not in accordance with the sequence of the verses and must not interfere with such memorization. Therefore, memorizers of the Noble Qur’ān must always be free to spend time in recitation of the entire text of the Noble Qur’ān so that the memory of the Noble Qur’ān may remain firmly in their hearts every day; this is a continuous requirement for them during the length of their lives. The constant religious duty regarding the memorized Noble Qur’ān is to bring about the complete recitation of the Qur’ān for an entire lifetime. Therefore, if memorizers of the Glorious Qur’ān are owners of this manual, they should give it as a gift to a friend who is not a memorizer, or else read only the English translation.

Reminders

~ This sign at the end of a line in the Arabic text means that one should not pause, and that one should recite the next line after the preceding line.

~ This same sign at the beginning of a line means that its recitation should be combined with that of the preceding line.

.This sign means “permissible” [jā’iz]; it means that a pause is permissible at this place جج

هللاا وهHE IS GOD [Huwa ‘llāh]

Truly He is a Singular and Unique God... . ااlه ا1منKاا ,وlد5حاا,وو �هـل ❊ (16:51)

...and there is no divinity except God, . اا *ن5م ا1م ,ووlاا �هـلlالm لٱٱdهK ❊

God is He (regarding whom) there is no divinity except Him, . لااdهK F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKيقلٱٱ ��1حـلٱٱ ,وwمموK the Ever-Living, the Eternal. No sleep can seize Him and no slumber. . الk ههذخ�اتK ال ,وو ةن5سk ونpمم�

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever . هلK ف ا1مB�p سلٱٱeف ا1م ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB is on the earth.

Who is the one that can intercede with Him, except with His permission? . فش1ي *ىىذلٱٱ ااذذ ن1مVK ههدن5عK ااlالm ابl5ه5نذذ

He knows what is (hidden) in front of them and behind them. . مل*ع1يK هفلخ ا1م ,وو *مهيد*ي"اا 1نيـ1ب ا1مKم*

And they cannot encompass anything of His knowledge, . ال ,ووk يKشب ننوطي5ح�pم ¡ءءC5اا ¢�ه5مل5ع *نlالm 1ءءآش ا1مب except what He wills.His Throne extends (throughout) the heavens and the earth, س,ووEV1 ي5س*ركwهK سلٱٱeجج 1ض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1م

and the preservation of both does not tire Him. . ال ,ووk ددوو¤و1يKههK هظف5حKا1م

And He is the Most High, the Supremely Great. . ه ,ووKل1علٱٱ ,وB�� مي5ظ1علٱٱK (2:255).

And to God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, ~ م 5هـل5ل ,ووKسلٱٱ كلeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB ❊

and whatever is between them, هن*ي1ب ا1م ,ووKجج ا1م ~

and to Him is the (final) destination. . اا ,ووlري5ص1مـلٱٱ 5ه*يلK(5:18)

...then truly to God belong whatever is in the heavens and on earth, افlف ا1م 5هـل5ل ننB�p سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج ❊

For He is Most Pardoning, Most Loving, . ه ,ووKرروفغلٱٱ ,وK دد,ولٱٱKددووK

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is هلK ف ا1مB�p سلٱٱeف ا1م ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB جج ❊ on earth.

And truly God, He is Most Rich and Self-Sufficient, Most Praiseworthy. . اا ,ووlلٱٱ ننdهل 1هKنغلٱٱ ,وB�� دي5م1حـلٱٱ(22:64)

And to God belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; ثثاا1ري5م 5هـل5ل ,ووK سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج ❊

and God is (very) aware of whatever you do. . لٱٱ ,ووdهK ريبخ ننول1م*عت ا1مب�(3:180)

Certainly nothing is hidden from God, ~ ااlلٱٱ ننdال 1هk ش 5ه*يل1ع �فخ1ي¬pءء� ❊

on earth or in the heavens. . فB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB ال ,ووk فB�p سلٱٱeءءآ1م� ~(3:5)

And to God prostrates whatever is in the heavens ~ ج*س1ي 5هـل5ل ,ووKف ا1م دB�p سلٱٱeتتاا,ووا1م ❊

and whatever is on earth... . ف ا1م ,ووB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB ~

(16:49)

Rather, whatever is in the heavens and on earth belongs to Him; هل ل1بK ف ا1مB�p سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج ❊

everything is devoutly obedient to Him. . هل ¨لكK ننوت5ناق(2:116)

He Gives Life and Determines Death. . يKـي*ح�p ي ,ووKتي5مـK(7:158)

And (yet) He is the one who created the night and the day, ~ ه ,ووK1ررا1هنلٱٱ ,وو 1ل*يلٱٱ 1قلخ *ىىذلٱٱ ,و ❊

and the sun and the moon: جج 1ر1مقلٱٱ ,وو 1س*مشلٱٱ ,وو ~

every (celestial body) floats in a heavenly (orbit). . ف ¨لكB�p ح1ب*س1ي كلفKننو(21:33)

To Him belong the keys (to the secrets) of the heavens and the earth. . هلK سلٱٱ دي5لاق1مeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB ❊

(42:12)

And with Him are the keys (to the secrets) of the Unperceived (realms); ~ ههدن5ع ,ووK تاف1مE°K ب*يغلٱٱ ❊

no one knows them except Him. . الk مل*ع1يKاا آ1هlالm هKو, ~

(6:59)

And no one knows the (invisible) forces of your Lord, except Him. . مل*ع1ي ا1م ,ووK جKب1رر 1ددونCاا كlالm هKو, ❊

(74:31)

And (invisible) forces of the heavens and the earth belong to God, ج 5هـل5ل ,ووKددونK سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج ❊

and God is Most Mighty, Most Wise. . لٱٱ نناك ,ووdهK امي5<1ح امي5ل1ع

(48:4)

But God is the Best Guardian. And He is the Most Merciful of the merciful ones. . لٱفdهK اظ5فا1ح �ر*يخ ❊

(O) our Sustaining Lord! Turn away from us the torment of Hell, ب1ررeجج 1من1ه1ج 1ببااذ1ع ان1ع *ففر*صٱٱ ان ❊

for truly its torment is a terrible punishment. . ااlاماا1رغ نناك ا1ه1بااذ1ع نن(25:65)

(Our Sustaining Lord! Lead us out...) and appoint for us a protector ي5ل,وو كندل ن5م انل ل1ع*جٱٱ ,ووeجج ا ❊ from You,

and appoint for us a helper from You! . ااري5صن كندل ن5م انل ل1ع*جٱٱ ,وو

(O) our Sustaining Lord! Do not allow our hearts to turn away (from the truth) ~ ب1ررeال انk زتEان1بولق غغ

after You have guided us, اا د*ع1بlجج انت*يد1ه ذذ ~

but give us mercy from Your presence, جج ة1م*ح1رر كندل ن5م انل *ب1ه ,وو

for truly You are the Most Generous Giver. . ااlه,ولٱٱ 1تن"اا كنeبباK

(O) our Sustaining Lord! Certainly you are the Gatherer of humanity ~ ب1ررeاا آنlما1ج كنEVK سسانلٱٱ´

on a Day of no doubt in its (arrival), . و1ي5لpممµ الm 5هي5ف 1ب*ي1رر ~

for truly God will not break (His) promise. . ااlلٱٱ ننdال 1هk يKف5لخK 1ددا1عي5مـلٱٱ(3:8)

(4:75) (the prayer of those who are oppressed)

(O) our Sustaining Lord! We have trusted in You (alone) ررeبeجج انلك,وت ك*يل1ع ان

and we have turned to You (alone), اا ,ووlجج ان*بن"اا ك*يل

for to You is the (final) destination. . اا ,ووlري5ص1مـلٱٱ ك*يلK

(O) our Sustaining Lord! Do not make us (suffer) a calamity ب1ررeان FG رفك 1نيذلـ5ل ةنت5ف انل1ع*جتKجج ااوو from those (who are) deniers, and forgive us, our Lord! ب1رر انل *ر5فغٱٱ ,ووeجج ان

For truly You are the Most Powerful, the Most Wise. . ااlزيز1علٱٱ 1تن"اا كنK مي5<1حلٱٱK (60:4) (the prayer of the Prophet Abraham—peace be upon him—and his companions)

(O our Sustaining Lord!…) You are our Protector, ي5ل,وو 1تن"ااwجج ان

So forgive us and be merciful to us; جج ان*م1ح*ررٱٱ ,وو انل *ر5فغٱف

for You are the Best of forgivers. . ر*يخ 1تن"اا ,ووK 1نير5فاغلٱٱ

And decree for us what is good in this life ~ ف انل *بتكٱٱ ,ووB�p ةن1س1ح ا1يندلٱٱ 5هذـ1ه

and in the Afterlife. . ف ,ووB�p 5ةة1ر5خــلٱٱ ~

For truly we have turned (in repentance) to You. . ااlه انKاا آـندlك*يل(7:155) (the prayer of the Prophet Moses—peace be upon him—and his companions)

ىبرر(O) MY SUSTAINING LORD! [Rabb-i]

Say (O Muhammad): “Truly, my Sustaining Lord has guided me اا *لقlننB�p نااد1هB�p ب1ررCBاا ·ىlم �ططاا1ر5ص �لwمي5قت*سµ جج to the straight path, an upright religion, (and) the creed of Abraham (who was called) م ام1ي5ق انيددC5اا ةلlجج افي5ن1ح 1مي5هاا1ر*ب the rightly inclined—and he was not among those who associated (other gods with God). . مـلٱٱ 1ن5م نناك ا1م ,ووK1ني5كرش

Say: Truly, my (ritual) prayer and religious acts, ~ اا *لقlتال1ص ننB�p سن ,ووK>B¬

my life and death, are for God (alone), the Sustainer . تا1مـ1م ,وو 1ىىا1ي*ح1م ,ووB�p بب1رر 5هـل5لC 1ني5ملا1علٱٱ ~ of (all) the Worlds.

...and do not cover me with shame on the Day when . وو, FG نزختB�p و1يpي 1ممKننوث1ع*ب ❊ (humanity) will be raised (from the dead).

(26:87) (the prayer of the Prophet Abraham—peace be upon him)

When his Sustaining Lord said to him: “Submit (your will to Me)!”— ااlهل 1للاق ذذK ب1ررwهK جج *م5ل*س"اا ❊

He said, “I submit (my will) to the Lord of (all) the worlds.” . ت*مل*س"اا 1للاقK بب1ر5لC 1ني5ملا1علٱٱ(2:131) (the prayer of the Prophet Abraham—peace be upon him)

…the Sustaining Lord of the Worlds, ~ بب1ررe 1ني5ملا1علٱٱ

who has created me; then He guides me. نقلخ *ىىذلٱٱB�p هفKنيد*ه1ي ,وB جج ~

He is the one who gives me food and gives me drink. ه *ىىذلٱٱ ,ووKي ,وKم5عطKنB�p ني5ق*س1ي ,ووB جج

And if I am sick, then He gives me healing. اا ,ووlت*ضر1م ااذذK هفKني5فش1ي ,وB جج

And (He is the one) who will make me die (and) then (newly) alive, ی *ىىذلٱٱ ,ووKنتي5مـB�p مثe يKنيي*حB جج

and who I hope will forgive me my mistakes . 1مط"اا �ىىذلٱٱ ,ووVK ل 1ر5فغ1ي نن"ااB�p ت¿ى�ي5طخB�p و1يpنيدلٱٱ 1ممB on the Day of Judgment.O my Sustaining Lord! Give me wisdom, ~ بب1ررC ل *ب1هB�p حK>ام

and unite me with the pious and upright ones. . نق5حل"اا ,ووB�p صلٱبe1ني5ح5لا ~

And make me mentioned for excellence among . 5ل *ل1ع*جٱٱ ,ووB�p ف ققد5ص ننا1س5لB�p 1نير5خــلٱٱ the later (generations),

and make me among the inheritors of the Garden (full) of joy and delight. . نل1ع*جٱٱ ,ووB�p مي5عنلٱٱ 5ةن1ج 5ةث1رر,وو *ن5مE (26:77) (the prayer of the Prophet Abraham—peace be upon him)

(O) my Lord! make me persevering in (ritual) prayer, ~ بب1ررC نل1ع*جٱٱB�p مKصلٱٱ 1مي5قe5ةةال

and (also make this so) among my descendants, ررذذ ن5م ,ووCيeتB�p جج ~

(O) our Lord! And accept my prayer. ب1ررeبقت ,وو انeدد *لKجج �ءءآ1ع

(O) our Lord! Grant forgiveness to me, ~ ب1ررeل *ر5فغٱٱ انB�p

to my parents, and to the believers, ~ ىىد5لاا,و5ل ,ووe مل5ل ,ووK1ني5ن5م�و ~

on the established Day of Reckoning. . و1يpوق1ي 1ممpممK ببا1س5حـلٱٱK ~(14:39) (the prayer of the Prophet Abraham—peace be upon him)

Truly I have set my face ~ ااl5نB�p ج,ووeت*هK ه*ج,ووB�, ❊

toward (the one) Who created the heavens and the earth, سلٱٱ 1رطف *ىىذل5لeجج افي5ن1ح 1ض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1م ~ turning (firmly) from idolatry,

and I will never be among those who associate (other gods) with God. . مـلٱٱ 1ن5م ان"اا آ1م ,ووK1ني5كرش (6:79) (the prayer of the Prophet Abraham—peace be upon him)

And he said, “Truly I will go to my Sustaining Lord! He will guide me.” . ااl5نB�p اا �ب5هااذذlب1رر �لCBىp نيد*ه1ي1سB ❊


He said, “Truly I will emigrate toward my Sustaining Lord. . اا 1للاق ,ووlنB�p مKاا �رجا1هlب1رر �لCBى ❊

For He is Most Powerful, Most Wise.” . ااlهنK هKزيز1علٱٱ ,وK مي5<1حـلٱٱK (29:26) (the prayer of the Prophet Abraham—peace be upon him)

He said, “And who gives up hope of the mercy of his Sustaining Lord, ~ رر *ن5م طنق1ي *ن1م ,وو 1للاقeب1رر 5ة1م*حCه�¢ ❊

(29:30) (the prayer of the Prophet Lot—peace be upon him)

from the evil of what He has created, . رش *ن5مC 1قلخ ا1م

and from the evil of darkness when it approaches, . رش *ن5م ,ووC ق5ساغÃ ااl1بق,وو ااذذ

and from the evil of those who blow (magic spells) on knots, . رش *ن5م ,ووC ف تتاثافنلٱٱB�p علٱٱKدق

and from the envious one when he acts with envy. . رش *ن5م ,ووC اا د5سا1حlد1س1ح ااذذ (113:1)

Say: (All) praise be to God. . لقB 5هـل5ل د*م1حـلٱٱ ❊

And peace be upon His servants whom He has chosen. . 1س ,ووÄÅفط*صٱٱ 1نيذلٱٱ 5ههددا1ب5ع �ل1ع �مم� (27:59)

He is the one who sent His Messenger with guidance ~ هKس1رر 1ل1س*رر"اا �ىىذلٱٱ ,وKهلوK هلٱبKنيدد ,وو ىدB ق1حـلٱٱCB ❊ and the religion of truth,

so that He may make it triumph over all religion... ي5لKهه1رهظK نيدلٱٱ �ل1عB 5ه5لك ~

(9:33)


Say: I seek protection with the Sustaining Lord of human beings, ع"اا *لقKوpبب1رب ذذC سسانلٱٱB

the King of human beings, سسانلٱٱ ك5ل1مB

the God of human beings, ااlسسانلٱٱ 5هـلB

from the evil of the whispering Tempter who sneaks away, ~ رش *ن5مC سساا,و*س,ولٱٱB سسانخـلٱٱB

(the one) who whispers into the hearts of human beings— ي *ىىذلٱٱKسسو*س,وK فB�p صKسسانلٱٱ رروودB ~

from (the evil suggestions of) jinns and human beings. . سسانلٱٱ ,وو 5ةنجلٱٱ 1ن5مB (114:1)

…(but he is) the Messenger of God and the seal of the prophets. . س1ررKلٱٱ 1للوdيبنلٱٱ 1مـتاخ ,وو 5هC1ني ❊

(33:40)

O Prophet! Truly We have sent you as a witness and ~ يÌي"اا اـwبنلٱٱ ا1هBاا �ىlم ,وو ااد5هاش ككانل1س*رر"اا آنKااريذن ,وو اار5ش1ب ❊ a bringer of good news and a warner;

and as one who invites (people) to God, by His permission, . اا اي5عاا1دد ,ووlلٱٱ �لdاب 5هlم اجاا1ر5س ,وو 5ه5نذذwااري5ن ~ and as an illuminating lamp.

(33:45)

And We have not sent you except as a mercy to . اا ككانل1س*رر"اا آ1م ,ووlالm 1ني5ملا1علـ5ل ة1م*ح1رر ❊ (the beings of) the worlds.

(21:107)

Glory be to your Sustaining Lord, the Lord of Power, سKب1رر ننا1ح*بCبب1رر كC ز5علٱٱeم1ع 5ةةeجج ننوف5ص1ي ا (far) above what (partners) they attribute (to Him)!And peace on the messengers. 1س ,ووÄÅمـلٱٱ �ل1ع �ممKجج 1ني5ل1س*ر

And (all) praise be to God, the Sustaining Lord of (all) the worlds. . بب1رر 5هـل5ل د*محلٱٱ ,ووC 1ني5ملا1علٱٱ (37:180)

He is God, (regarding) whom there is no divinity except Him, . هKلٱٱ ,وdهK ىىذلٱٱ* F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKو,

the Knower of the hidden and the manifest. . م5لا1عK 5ةة1ددا1هشلٱٱ ,وو ب*يغلٱٱ

He is the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. . هKرلٱٱ ,وeنـم*حK رلٱٱeمي5حK

He is God, (regarding) whom there is no divinity except Him, هKلٱٱ ,وdهK ىىذلٱٱ* F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKجج ,و

the Absolute King, the Most Holy, the Giver of Peace, ~ سسوودقلٱٱ ك5ل1مـلٱٱK سلٱٱeÄÅممK مـلٱٱKن5م�وK the Giver of Safety,

the Guardian, the Most Powerful, the Subduer, the Most Great. مـلٱٱKن5م*ي1هK زيز1علٱٱK ب1جـلٱٱeرراK مـلٱٱKبكتCرK جج ~

Glory be to God, (far) above what (deities) they associate (with Him)! . سKلٱٱ ننا1ح*بdم1ع 5هeي اKننوكرش

He is God: the Creator, the Maker, the Giver of Forms. هKلٱٱ ,وdهK ق5لاخـلٱٱK ىىررا1بلٱٱÍ مـلٱٱKو1صÊررK جج

The most beautiful Names belong to Him. هلK ءءآ1م*س"اـلٱٱK حـلٱٱKجج �ن*س

Whatever is in the heavens and on earth gives glory to Him, يKب1سCEحK هلK ف ا1مB�p سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج

and He is the Most Powerful, the Most Wise. . ه ,ووKزيز1علٱٱ ,وK مي5<1حـلٱٱK (59:22)

And truly God is Compassionate and Merciful to you. . اا ,ووlلٱٱ ننdءء1رل *م<ب 1هKووpرر �ففeمي5ح� (57:9)

And He is God: there is no divinity except Him. ه ,ووKلٱٱ ,وdهK F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKجج ,و ❊

To Him belongs (all) praise in the beginning and at the end (of time). هلK ف د*م1حـلٱٱB�p و�اـلٱٱpجج 5ةة1ر5خآـلٱٱ ,وو �ل

And to him belongs the Command... . هل ,ووK حـلٱٱK>مK (28:70)

There is no divinity except Him. . F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKو, ❊

Everything will perish except His (eternal) Self. . لكw ش¬pاا ك5لا1ه ¡ءءlالm ه1ه*ج,ووK

To Him belongs the Command... . هلK حـلٱٱK>مK (28:88)

Truly the Command (belongs to none) except to God: . ااlحـلٱٱ ننK>مK ااlالm 5هـل5ل ❊

He tells the truth, صق1يw ق1حـلٱٱe جج

and He is the Best of deciders. . ه ,ووKر*يخ ,وK 1ني5ل5صافلٱٱ (6:57)

...and He is the Best of judges. . ه ,ووKر*يخ ,وK 1ني5م5كا1حـلٱٱ ❊

(7:87)

Is not God the Most Judicious of judges? . لٱٱ 1س*يل"ااdهK م<*ح"ابE 1ني5م5كا1حـلٱٱ ❊

But glory be to God, the Lord of the Throne, ~ سفKلٱٱ ننا1ح*بdبب1رر 5هC شش*ر1علٱٱB ❊

(far) above what (partners) they attribute (to Him). . م1عeننوف5ص1ي ا ~(21:22)

Truly God commands whatever He wishes. . ااlلٱٱ ننdم<*ح1ي 1هK ي ا1مKدير ❊

(5:1)

Truly your Sustaining Lord (O Muhammad) is the Doer of whatever He wishes. . ااlب1رر ننeعف كeي ا1م5ل �للاKدير

(11:107)

Truly God does whatever He wishes. . ااlلٱٱ ننdل1عف1ي 1هK ي ا1مKدير ❊

(22:14)

...and God does whatever He wills. . ل1عف1ي ,ووK لٱٱdهK ءءآش1ي ا1مK ❊ (14:27)

Truly God is the splitter of the grain seed and ااlلٱٱ ننdق5لاف 1هK ب1حـلٱٱC جج ى,ونلٱٱ ,وو ❊ the date stone (so they may sprout).

He brings the living from the dead ~ يKرخEججK ي1مـلٱٱ 1ن5م ¦�1حـلٱٱCت ❊

and He brings the dead from the living. . م ,ووKرخEججK ي1مـلٱٱC1حـلٱٱ 1ن5م ت�ÊB ~

That, for you, is God. . م<5لذذK لٱٱdهK(6:95)

He brings the living from the dead يKرخEججK ي1مـلٱٱ 1ن5م ¦�1حـلٱٱCجج ت ❊

and He brings the dead from the living, ي ,ووKرخEججK ي1مـلٱٱC1حـلٱٱ 1ن5م 1ت�ÊB جج

and He makes the earth alive after its death. ي ,ووKح*�B و1م د*ع1ب 1ض*ر"اـلٱٱpجج ا1ه5ت

And that is (how) you will be brought (from the graves). . ج1رخت ك5لذك ,ووKننو(30:19)

But God is exalted (far) above what (deities) they associate (with Him). . لٱٱ �لا1عتفdهK م1عeي اKننوكرش ❊

(7:190)

And if you if you were to (try to) count the blessings of God, . اا ,ووlعت ننKلٱٱ ة1م*ع5ن ااوودdال 5هk ص*حتKآ1هو ❊ you could not number them.

Truly God is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. . ااlلٱٱ ننdرر �رروفغل 1هeمي5ح� (16:18)

That is because God makes the night enter into the day ~ لٱٱ نن"اب ك5لذذdي 1هKلوEÐK ف 1ل*يلٱٱB�p ررا1هنلٱٱ

and He makes the day enter into the night. ي ,ووKلوEÐK ف 1ررا1هنلٱٱB�p ل*يلٱٱB جج ~

And truly God is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. . لٱٱ نن"اا ,ووdري5ص1ب �عي5م1س 1ه�

That is because God, He is Most Real. لٱٱ نن"اب ك5لذذdه 1هKق1حـلٱٱ ,وw جج

And whatever (imagined divinity) they call upon besides Him— عد1ي ا1م نن"اا ,ووKدد ن5م ننوKه 5ه5نووKل5طا1بلٱٱ ,وK جج it is false.

And truly God, He is Most High, Most Great. . لٱٱ نن"اا ,ووdه 1هKل1علٱٱ ,وB�� ريب<لٱٱK (22:61)

...and say: “Glory be to the one Who subordinated these (benefits) س ااولوقت ,ووKجج ااذ9ه انل 1رخ1س *ىىذلٱٱ نناح*ب ❊ for us (to use),

for we would never be able to do this (by ourselves). . هل انك ا1م ,ووK مK1ني5نرق

And truly we must turn to our Sustaining Lord.” . اا ,ووlاا آنlب1رر �لCم انKب5لقنKننو(43:13)

And never is anything kept invisible to God, ~ لٱٱ �ل1ع �فخ1ي ا1م ,ووdش *ن5م 5ه�pءء¡

(O) our Sustaining Lord! You did not create this (creation) in vain. ب1ررeال5طا1ب ااذ9ه 1تقلخ ا1م انÑ جج

Glory be to You! Save us, then, from the punishment of the Fire (of Hell)! . سKررانلٱٱ 1ببااذ1ع ان5قف كنا1ح*ب

(O) our Lord! Truly we have heard the announcer inviting us ~ ب1ررeاا آنlم ان*ع5م1س اننKي ايددانKال5ل *ىىددانlننا1مي to faith,

(saying), “Believe in the Lord,” and we believed. . ب1رب ااون5ماا نن"ااC>ان1ماف *م ~

(O) our Lord! Forgive our sins, ~ ب1ررeان1بونذذ انل *ر5فغٱف ان

and erase our wrongdoings from us, ~ ي1س ان1ع *ر5فك ,ووCان5تا¿ى ~

and cause us to die (together) with the pious and virtuous! . 1م انف,وت ,ووV1 رراا1ر*بأـلٱٱ ~

(O) our Lord! And give us what You promised to us through ب1ررeرر �ل1ع انتد1ع,وو ا1م ان5تاا ,وو انKسKجج ك5ل (the speech of) Your messengers, and do not cover us with shame the Day of Resurrection! ال ,ووk و1ي انزختpجج 5ة1ما1ي5قلٱٱ 1مم

For surely You never never break (Your) promise. . ااlال كنk ف5لختK 1ددا1عي5مـلٱٱ(3:191) (the prayer of those who remember God)

It will never be (allowable) for us to associate with God anything لٱب ككرشن نن"اا آنل نناك ا1مdش *ن5م 5ه�pجج ¡ءء ❊ (as divine);

this is from the grace and favor of God to us and to mankind... . ل*ضف *ن5م ك5لذذB لٱٱdسسانلٱٱ �ل1ع ,وو ان*يل1ع 5هB (12:38) (the words of the Prophet Joseph—peace be upon him)

If our Sustaining Lord is not merciful toward us and forgiving toward us, ~ ب1رر ان*م1ح*ر1ي *مل *ن5ئلwانل *ر5فغ1ي ,وو ان ❊

then we will be among those of (great) loss. . ننوكنلe 1نير5ساخـلٱٱ 1ن5م ~(7:149)

Truly we fear, (coming) from Our Lord, ~ ااlففاخن انK رر *ن5مeبCان ❊

a severe and dismal Day (of Judgment). . و1يpب1ع امKااريرط*مق اسو ~(76:10)

...We rely upon God (alone). لٱٱ �ل1عdجج انلك,وت 5ه

(O) our Sustaining Lord! Do not make us (suffer) a calamity from ب1ررeال انk وقلـ5ل ةنت5ف انل1ع*جـتpممE جج 1ني5مـ5لاظلٱٱ unjust and oppressive people, and save us by means of Your Mercy from those (who are) . جن ,ووCوقلٱٱ 1ن5م ك5ت1م*ح1رب انpممE 1نير5فا<لٱٱ ungrateful deniers!

and my parents, ~ ىىد5لاا,و5ل ,ووe ~

and whoever enters my house as a believer, ~ ت*ي1ب 1لخ1دد *ن1م5ل ,ووB�, مKان5م�و ~

and (also) believing men and believing women! مل5ل ,ووKمـلٱٱ ,وو 1ني5ن5م�وKجج تتان5م�و ~

And do not grant increase to unjust oppressors except in destruction! . وو, FG اا 1ني5مـ5لاظلٱٱ ددزتlالm ااررا1بت (71:28) (the prayer of the Prophet Noah—peace be upon him)

(My Sustaining Lord!) ...and unless You forgive me and are merciful to me, ~ اا ,ووlالm ل *ر5فغتB�p ن*م1ح*رت ,ووB�· ❊

I will be among those of (great) loss. . م *نك"ااC51نير5ساخلٱٱ 1ن ~(11:47) (the prayer of the Prophet Noah—peace be upon him)

Say (O Muhammad): “Nothing can happen to us ي *نل *لقKاا آن1بي5صlالm لٱٱ 1بتك ا1مdهK جج انل except what God has decreed for us. He is our Master and Lord, هKو1م ,وpالkجج ان

and let the believers rely upon God (alone). . لٱٱ �ل1ع ,ووdلك,وت1يلف 5هB مـلٱٱKننون5م�و(9:51)

(Embark in it [[the Ark]]!) In the name of God be its sailing and م*سبE لٱٱdم ,وو ا1هير*ج1م 5هKجج آ1ها1س*ر ❊ its anchoring!

Truly my Sustaining Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful! . ااlب1رر ننCBىp رر �رروفغلeمي5ح� (11:41) (the prayer of the Prophet Noah—peace be upon him)

And say: (O) my Sustaining Lord! Send me to a blessed landing place, ~ رر *لق ,ووeببC نلزن"ااB�p مKال1زنÕ مwاك1ررا1ب ❊

and You are the Best of those who bring to land. . ر*يخ 1تن"اا ,ووK مـلٱٱK1ني5لزن ~

...and God guides the one He wills. . لٱٱ نن"اا ,ووdي *ن1م *ىىد*ه1ي 1هKدير ❊

And God guides to the straight path whomever He wills. . لٱٱ ,ووdهK ءءآش1ي *ن1م *ىىد*ه1يK ااlم �ططاا1ر5ص �لwمي5قت*سµ ❊ (2:213)

God chooses to Himself whomever He wills, لااdهK بت*ج1يBاا ·ىlءءآش1ي *ن1م 5ه*يلK جج ❊

and guides to Himself the one who turns (to Him in repentance). . اا �ىىد*ه1ي ,ووlي *ن1م 5ه*يلKبي5نK (42:13)

And God speaks the truth, لٱٱ ,ووdهK للوق1يK ق1حـلٱٱe جج ❊

and He guides to the Way. . ه ,ووKسلٱٱ *ىىد*ه1ي ,وe1ليب (33:4)

And the one who believes in God, He will (rightly) guide his heart, ي *ن1م ,ووKلٱب *ن5م�وdه1بلق د*ه1ي 5هK جج ❊

for God is the Knower all things. . لٱٱ ,ووdهK ل<بCB ش�pمي5ل1ع ¡ءء� (64:11)

Light upon Light! جج ررون �ل1ع �ررون ❊

And Glory be to God, the Sustaining Lord of (all) the Worlds. . س ,ووKلٱٱ ننا1ح*بdبب1رر 5هC 1ني5ملا1علٱٱ ❊ (27:8)

Do you not see that, truly, it is God whom (all) those . لٱٱ نن"اا 1رت *مل"ااdي 1هKب1سCEحK هلK ف *ن1مB�p سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB ❊ in the heavens and on earth glorify...?

(24:41)

Glory be to the Sustaining Lord of the heavens and the earth, ~ سKبب1رر ننا1ح*بC سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB ❊

the Lord of the Mighty Throne (who is) above what (partners) . بب1ررC شش*ر1علٱٱB م1عeننوف5ص1ي ا ~ they attribute (to Him).

(43:82)

But glory be to God, the Lord of the Mighty Throne, . سفKلٱٱ ننا1ح*بdبب1رر 5هC شش*ر1علٱٱB م1عeننوف5ص1ي ا ❊ (who is) above what (partners) they attribute (to Him).

(21:22)

Glory be to God (who is) exalted above what (partners) they associate . سKلٱٱ ننا1ح*بdم1ع �لا1عت ,وو 5هeي اKننوكرش ❊ (with Him).

(28:68)

Glory be to the one Who created all things in pairs ~ سKا,و*ز"اـلٱٱ 1قلخ *ىىذلٱٱ ننا1ح*بÐ1 ا1هلك ❊

out of what the earth produces... . مـ5مeتبنت اK ض*ر"اـلٱٱK ~(36:36)

Then glory be to the one in Whose hands is the dominion of سفKتتو<ل1م 5ههد1يب *ىىذلٱٱ ننا1ح*بK لكCB ش�pجج ¡ءء ❊ all things:

(37:180)

God! There is no divinity except Him. لااdهK F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKجج ,و ❊

The most beautiful Names belong to Him. . هلK ءءآ1م*س"اـلٱٱK حـلٱٱKن*س� (20:8)

And the most beautiful Names belong to God, ~ ءءآ1م*س"اـلٱٱ 5هـل5ل ,ووK حـلٱٱKن*س� ❊

so call to Him by them. . ع*ددٱفKههوK ا1هب ~ (7:180)

Isn’t God sufficient for His servant? . لٱٱ 1س*يل"ااdهK ههد*ب1ع ففا<بK ❊

(39:36)

But God, He is the Protector, لٱفdهK هKل,ولٱٱ ,وB�� جج ❊

and He is the Reviver of the dead, ه ,ووKي ,وKي*حBىp و1مـلٱٱpجج �ت

and He has power over all things. . ه ,ووKلك �ل1ع ,وCB ش�pريدق ¡ءء� (42:9)

God is the Protector of those who have faith; ~ لااdهK ل,ووB�� ااون1مآآ 1نيذلٱٱ ❊

He will bring them from darkness into light. . يKجرخKهKم *مC5اا تتا1ملظلٱٱ 1نlررۇنلٱٱ �ل ~

(45:19)

Truly God will preserve from (evil) those who believe. . ااlلٱٱ ننdي 1هKفاادEVK ن1عB ااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ ❊

(22:38)

That is because God is the Protector of those who believe. . لٱٱ نن"اب ك5لذذdو1م 1هpااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ �ل ❊

No, (only) God is your Protector, and He is the Best of helpers. . ل1بB لٱٱdهK و1مpالkه ,وو *مكKر*يخ ,وK 1نير5صانلٱٱ ❊(3:150)

And there is no help except from the Presence of God, ~ ر*صنلٱٱ ا1م ,ووK ااlالm لٱٱ دن5ع *ن5مd5ه ❊

the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. . مي5<1حلٱٱ زيز1علٱٱE

If God helps you, ~ ااlصن1ي ننKمك*رK لٱٱdهK ❊

then no one can be your conqueror. . م<ل 1ب5لاغ ¸الف* ~

(3:160)

As those who turn (in alliance) to God and His Messenger ~ لل,وت1ي *ن1م ,ووe لٱٱdس1رر ,وو 1هKهلوK ❊

and those who believe— ~ ااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ ,وو ~

truly they (are) the partisans of God (who) will triumph. . افlلٱٱ 1بب*ز5ح ننdه 5هKمK ب5لاغلٱٱKننو ~

the Best Protector and the Best Helper. . و1مـلٱٱ 1م*ع5نpري5صنلٱٱ 1م*ع5ن ,وو �لK (8:40)

And God is all powerful over His decrees... . لٱٱ ,ووdهK ـل1ع �ب5لاغ�Ø 5ههر*م"اا ❊ (12:21)

Truly God will not further the works of those who defile and corrupt. ااlلٱٱ ننdال 1هk يKل*صE°K مـلٱٱ 1ل1م1عKجج 1نيد5سف ❊

And God confirms the truth as true by His words, ~ ي ,ووKق5حw لٱٱdهK ق1حـلٱٱe 5ه5تا1م5ل<ب

even though sinners may hate it. . ول ,ووp مـلٱٱ 1ههركKمر*جKننو ~(10:81)

... and God willed to confirm the truth as true by His words, ~ ي ,ووKلٱٱ ديرdهK ي نن"ااKق5حe ق1حـلٱٱe 5ه5تا1م5ل<ب ❊

and to sever the roots of ungrateful deniers . طق1ي ,ووV1 1نير5فا<لٱٱ 1رباا1دد ~

in order to confirm the truth as true ~ ي5لKق5حe ق1حـلٱٱe

and falsehood as false, ي ,ووKجج 1ل5طا1بلٱٱ 1ل5ط*ب ~

even though sinners may hate it. . ول ,ووp مـلٱٱ 1ههركKمر*جKننو (8:8)

This (was the case), and truly God will weaken the schemes and plots . لٱٱ نن"اا ,وو *م<5لذذdم 1هKوpن5هK 1نير5فا<لٱٱ د*يك ❊ of those (who are) ungrateful deniers.

Truly God is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. . ااlلٱٱ ننdرر �رروفغ 1هeمي5ح� ❊

and forgive us. جج آنل *ر5فغٱٱ ,وو ~

Truly You are Powerful over all things. . ااlلك �ل1ع كنCB ش�pريدق ¡ءء�(66:8) (the prayer of the believers)

(O) Our Sustaining Lord! Give us wives and offspring ب1ررeررذذ ,وو انجاا,ووزز"اا *ن5م انل *ب1ه انCيeرق ان5تاeنـی*ع"اا ةةÃ جج ❊ who are the joy of our eyes,

Truly my protector is God, who sent down the Book (of revelation); ااlي5ل,وو ننCلٱٱ ,�ـdهK زن *ىىذلٱٱeجج 1ببات5<لٱٱ 1لل ❊

and He protects the good and righteous people. . ه ,ووKصلٱٱ �ل,وت1ي ,وe1ني5ح5لا (7:196)

He is God, my Sustaining Lord, ~ هKلٱٱ ,وdهK ب1ررCBىp ❊

and I will never associate anyone (as a partner) with my Lord. . وو, F� ب1رب ككرش�ااCBااد1ح"اا ·ى ~

and He made love and mercy between you. . م *مكن*ي1ب 1ل1ع1ج ,ووeدد,وeة1م*ح1رر ,وو ةة

Truly there are signs in this for a people who think (carefully). . ااlف ننB�p وق5ل ت9یاـل ك5لذذpممµ ركفت1يKننوو

And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, ~ قلخ 5ه5ت9یاا *ن5م ,ووK سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB

and the varieties of your tongues (of speech) and your (skin) colors. . 5تخٱٱ ,ووÄÅففK مك5ناا,ول"اا ,وو *مك5تن5سل"اا* ~

Truly there are signs in this for those who know. . ااlف ننB�p 1ني5مـ5لا1عل5ل ت9یاـل ك5لذذ (30:21)

whichever way you turn, there is the Face of God. مثف ااول,وت ا1من*ي"افe ه*ج,ووK لٱٱdجج 5ه

Truly God is All-Pervading, All-Knowing. . ااlلٱٱ ننdساا,وو 1هEV� مي5ل1ع�

And they say: “God has taken a son”: glory be to Him! لٱٱ ذختٱٱ ااولاق ,ووdهK س جج اادل,ووKهنا1ح*بK جج

On the contrary, whatever is in the heavens and on earth belongs to Him, هل *ل1بK ف ا1مB�p سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج

(and) everything obeys and worships Him. . هل ¨لكK ننوت5ناق

(He is) the Originator of the heavens and the earth. عيد1بK سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج

And when He decrees a matter, ~ اا ,ووlاار*م"اا ��ـضق ااذذ

He says to it (only), “Be!”—and it is. . افlللوق1ي ا1منK هلK و<1يف *نكpنن ~(2:115)

…And He is the Creator, the All-Knowing. . ه ,ووKخـلٱٱ ,وÄÅققK مي5ل1علٱٱK

Certainly, (regarding) His Command, when He wills something, ~ ااlر*م"اا آ1منKههK ااlائ*يش 1دداا1رر"اا آآذذ

truly He says to it (only), “Be!”—and it is. . هل 1للوق1ي نن"ااK و<1يف *نكpنن ~

Then glory be to the one in Whose hands is the kingdom سفKتتو<ل1م 5ههد1يب *ىىذلٱٱ ننا1ح*بK لكCB ش�pجج ¡ءء of all things.

And you will (all) be returned to Him. . اا ,ووlع1ج*رت 5ه*يلKوpنن (36:81)

and who follow Your Path. . ع1بتٱٱ ,ووKكليب1س ااو ~

And save them from the punishment of the Fire (of Hell)! . مي5ح1جـلٱٱ 1ببااذ1ع *مه5ق ,ووE

O Lord! And enter them into eternal Gardens that ~ ب1ررeهل5خ*دد"اا ,وو انKتلٱٱ نند1ع تتان1ج *مB�p هتد1ع,ووKم* You promised them,and the righteous among their fathers ~ مه5ئآباا *ن5م 1°ل1ص *ن1م ,وو* ~

and their wives and their descendants. ررذذ ,وو *مهجاا,ووزز"اا ,ووCيeجج *مه5تا ~

Truly You are Most Mighty, Most Wise. . ااlزيز1علٱٱ 1تن"اا كنK مي5<1حـلٱٱK

And save them from (the punishment for) sins. مه5ق ,ووK سلٱٱeيCجج تتا¿ى

And the one whom You save from sins (on that) Day, قت *ن1م ,ووB سلٱٱeيCو1ي تتا¿ىpهت*م5ح1رر دقف ذ5ئ1مK جج surely You will have been merciful to him.And that will be a magnificent deliverance. . ه ك5لذذ ,ووKوفلٱٱ ,وpمي5ظ1علٱٱ ززK (40:7) (the prayer of the angels)

But receive good news about the Garden (of Paradise) . ر5ش*ب"اا ,ووKتلٱٱ 5ةن1جـلٱب ااووB�p وت *متنكpننوود1ع that was promised to you.”

(41:30)

Truly those who say, “Our Sustaining Lord is God,” ~ ااlب1رر ااولاق 1نيذلٱٱ ننwلٱٱ انdهK

(and) then continue to be upright, ~ مثe ماقت*سٱٱKااو ~

there will not be (any) fear for them ~ فÄÅ وخpمه*يل1ع �فف* ~

and they will not sorrow. . وو, FG هKننون1ز*ح1ي *م ~

Those will be the companions of the Garden, وو�ااpببا1ح*ص"اا ك5ئ�ـلK جج 5ةن1جـلٱٱ

living forever therein— جج ا1هي5ف 1نيد5لاخ

a reward for what (good deeds) they have done. . ءءآآ1ز1جÝ ننول1م*ع1ي ااوناك ا1مب (46:13)

Then (He) forgave him. هل 1رفغفK جج

Truly He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. . ااlهنK هKرروفغلٱٱ ,وK رلٱٱeمي5حK (28:16) (the prayer of the Prophet Moses—peace be upon him)

…(O) my Sustaining Lord! Because of what grace and favor ~ بب1ررC ل1ع 1ت*م1عن"اا آ1مـب�¦ ❊ You have granted to me,

I will never be a supporter to sinners. . مل5ل ااريهظ ننوك"اا *نلفK1ني5مر*ج ~

(28:17) (the prayer of Moses—peace be upon him)

Their invocation in those (Gardens) will be, “Glory be to You, O God!” هاا,و*ع1ددKس ا1هي5ف *مKهــللٱٱ كنا1ح*بKمe جج

And their greeting therein will be, “Peace!” ي5حت ,ووeهتKجج �ممال1س ا1هي5ف *م

And the end of their invocation will be: ~ ر5خآآ ,ووK هاا,و*ع1ددKم*

“Praise be to God, the Sustainer of (all) the worlds!” . بب1رر 5هـل5ل د*محـلٱٱ نن"ااC 1ني5ملا1علٱٱ ~(10:10)

I hope my Sustaining Lord will guide me to the (right) way. . ب1رر �1س1عCBن1يد*ه1ي نن"اا ·ىB�p سلٱٱ 1ءءآآ,و1سeليبB ❊


(O) my Sustaining Lord! Truly I am needy of whatever good . بب1ررC ااl5نB�p اا 1تل1زن"اا آ1مـ5لlري5قف ر*يخ *ن5م ¦�ل� ❊ You may send down to me!


Truly my Sustaining Lord is with me (and) He will guide me. . ااlع1م ننB�, ب1ررCBىp نيد*ه1ي1سB ❊

(26:62) (the words of Moses—peace be upon him)

When he recovered (after fainting), ~ ملفe1ققاف"اا آ ❊

he said, “Glory be to You!” . س 1للاقKكنا1ح*ب ~

(7:143) (the prayer of the Prophet Moses—peace be upon him)

(Moses) said, “(O) my Sustaining Lord! Expand my heart for me, ~ بب1رر 1للاقC ل *حح1رشٱٱB�p ىىررد1ص* ❊

(and) make my task easy for me.” . س1ي ,ووC5ل *رB�· ىىر*م"اا* ~(20:25)

And there is no success for me (in my task) except by (the grace of) God. وت ا1م ,ووpقي5فB�· ااlالm لٱبdجج 5ه ❊

I rely upon Him (alone) and I turn to Him (in repentance). . تلك,وت 5ه*يل1عK اا ,ووlب*ي5ن�اا 5ه*يلK(11:88) (the prayer of the Prophet Shuàyb—peace be upon him)

And the ones who obey God and the Messenger— ~ ي *ن1م ,ووKطEVE لٱٱdرلٱٱ ,وو 1هeسK1للو

those will be with those on whom God has granted grace and favor ~ وو�افp1م ك5ئ�ـلV1 لٱٱ 1م1عن"اا 1نيذلٱٱdهK مه*يل1ع* ~

from among the prophets, the truthful sincere ones, ~ مC5يبنلٱٱ 1نCصلٱٱ ,وو 1نيC51ني5قيد ~

the martyrs (who bore witness to the truth), and those of good deeds: صلٱٱ ,وو �ءءآآد1هشلٱٱ ,ووeجج 1ني5حـ5لا ~

what good companions those (will be)! . س1ح ,ووKاقي5ف1رر ك5ئ�ـلوو�اا 1ن (4:69)

and they will have been guided to the path of the Most Praiseworthy. . ه ,ووKاا اا·وودlدي5م1حـلٱٱ 5ططاا1ر5ص �ل(22:24)

And piously and virtuously fear God, . لٱٱ ااوقتاا ,ووd1ه ❊

(for) truly God is Ever-Turning (in forgiveness), Most Compassionate. . ااlلٱٱ ننdرر �بباا¦وت 1هeمي5ح�(49:12)

O you who believe! ~ يÌي"اا اـwااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ ا1ه ❊

Patiently endure, persevere, and be constant (together), ~ رب*صٱٱKربا1ص ,وو ووKااوطباا1رر ,وو ااوو ~

and piously and virtuously fear God so that you may attain to success. . لٱٱ ااوقتاا ,ووdح5لفت *م<ل1عل 1هKننو ~

(3:200)

And the one who comes with the truth ~ صلٱب 1ءءآ1ج *ىىذلٱٱ ,ووC5ققد

and confirms it— جج �¢هب 1ققد1ص ,وو ~

those are the piously (God-) fearing and virtuous ones. . وو�ااpه ك5ئ�ـلKمK ملٱٱKننوقت

For them will be whatever they wish with their Sustaining Lord. هلKم *مeءءآش1ي اKب1رر دن5ع ننووCجج *مه

That is the reward for those who do good. . ز1ج ك5لذذÌءءK مـلٱٱK1ني5ن5س*ح (39:33)

God has prepared forgiveness for them and a magnificent reward. . لٱٱ د1ع"ااdهK هلKامي5ظ1ع اار*ج"اا ,وو ةة1ر5فغ1م *م ~

(33:35)

They (restlessly) abandon their places of sleep ج �فا1جتتKبونKهKن1ع *مB جا1ض1مـلٱٱEVE جج ❊

(so) they may call out to their Sustaining Lord in fear and hope, عد1يKب1رر ننوeهKوخ *مpجج اع1مط ,وو اف

And whoever piously and virtuously fears God, ~ قت1ي *ن1م ,ووB لٱٱdهل *ل1ع*ج1ي 1هK اج1رخ1م He makes a way out for him (from difficulties), and He provides for him by a means that he does not expect. هقزز*ر1ي ,ووK ث*ي1ح *ن5مK FG ب5ست*ح1يK جج ~

And whoever relies upon God, then He will be sufficient for him. لٱٱ �ل1ع *لك,وت1ي *ن1م ,ووdهف 5هKب*س1ح ,وKهK جج

Truly God is the one Who accomplishes His (decreed) matter. ااlلٱٱ ننdلا1ب 1هEá جج 5ههر*م"اا

Certainly God has determined the (right) amount for everything. . لٱٱ 1ل1ع1ج دقdهK ل<5لCB ش�pاارردق ¡ءء (65:2)

And whoever piously and virtuously fears God, قت1ي *ن1م ,ووB لٱٱdهل *ل1ع*ج1ي 1هK ي 5ههر*م"اا *ن5مKجج اار*س He will make his situation easy. That is the Command of God, which He has sent down to you. ر*م"اا ك5لذذK لٱٱdهل1زن"اا 5هK ااlجج *م<*يل

And whoever piously and virtuously fears God, ~ قت1ي *ن1م ,ووB لٱٱdي 1هK>هن1ع *ر5فK ي1سC5ه5تا¿ى He will erase his wrongdoings from him,and will make his reward great. . ي ,ووKهل *م5ظ*عK اار*ج"اا ~

and do good deeds, ~ صلٱٱ ااول5م1ع ,ووeتتا1حـ5لا ~

is (every) blessing is for them ~ وطpهل ى1بKم* ~

and a beautiful place of return (in the Afterlife). . ح ,ووKن*سK ببآ1م ~

(13:29)

…(since) He will pay them their reward, ~ ي5لKه1ي5ف,وKج�اا *مKه1رروKم* ❊

and He will grant them an increase from His grace and favor. . هديز1ي ,ووKم *مC55ه5ل*ضف *ن ~

Truly He is Most Forgiving, Justly Appreciating. . ااlهنK ررو<ش �رروفغ� (35:30)

There will be an abode of peace for them in the presence of their Lord: هلKرراا1دد *مK سلٱٱeممالE ب1رر دن5عCجج *مه ❊

He will be their (Loving) Friend, because of what (good deeds) they do. . ه ,ووKي5ل,وو ,وwهKننول1م*ع1ي ااوناك ا1مـب *م(6:127)

And seek help by means of patient endurance and (ritual) prayer, صلٱب ااوني5عت*سٱٱ ,ووeصلٱٱ ,وو ر*بeجج 5ةةال ❊

but truly this is a big difficulty, except for those (who are) humble— ~ اا ,ووlاا ةة1ريب<ل ا1هنlالm 1ني5ع5شاخـلٱٱ �ل1ع ~

those who are persuaded that they will meet their Sustaining Lord, ~ هن"اا ننونظ1ي 1نيذلٱٱKم *مwب1رر ااوق¸الCمه* ~

and that they will return to Him. . هن"اا ,ووKاا *مlعجاا1رر 5ه*يلKننو ~(2:45)

And give good news to the patiently enduring ones ~ صلٱٱ ر5ش1ب ,ووe1نيربا

who, when a trouble afflicts them, ~ اا 1نيذلٱٱlهت1با1ص"اا آآذذKم *مwة1بي5ص ~

say, “Truly we belong to God and we will return to Him.” . اا اا·ولاقlاا ,وو 5هـل5ل انlاا آـنlعجاا1رر 5ه*يلKننو ~

They are (the ones) upon whom are blessings and mercy م �تتاا,ول1ص *مه*يل1ع ك5ئ�ـلوو�ااC5رر *نeبCجج ة1م*ح1رر ,وو *مه from their Sustaining Lord, and they are the rightly guided ones. . ه ك5ئ�ـلوو�اا ,ووKمK مـلٱٱKننوودت*ه (2:156)

...dwelling forever therein with the permission of their Sustaining Lord. اب ا1هي5ف 1نيد5لاخlب1رر ننذذCجج *مه ❊

Their greeting therein will be, “Peace!” . ي5حتeهتKممال1س ا1هي5ف *م� (14:23)

“Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured! جج *مت*ر1ب1ص ا1مـب *م<*يل1ع �ممال1س ❊

Therefore, how blessed is the final abode (in Paradise)!” . ع 1م*ع5نفKرراادلٱٱ ى1بق(13:24)

Their greeting on the Day of meeting Him will be, “Peace!” . ي5حتeهتKو1ي *مpوقل1ي 1ممpهنK 1سÄÅمم� ❊

And He has prepared a generous and bountiful reward for them. . هل د1ع"اا ,ووKاميرك اار*ج"اا *م (33:44)

And the Garden will be brought near . مل5ل ةن1جـلٱٱ تف5لزز�اا ,ووKدي5ع1ب 1ر*يغ 1ني5قت to the piously (God-) fearing and virtuous ones; (it will) not (be) distant.“This is what you were promised—for all who turned (in repentance), ل<5ل ننوود1عوت ا1م اذـهCB جج �ظي5ف1ح بباا¦وو"اا who kept (His commands),who piously and virtuously feared the Most Merciful (who is) hidden, ~ مeشخ *نB�, رلٱٱeب*يغلٱب 1نـم*ح

and (who) brought a penitent heart. . م بلقب 1ءءآ1ج ,ووwبي5ن ~

Enter it in peace, 1سب ا1هولخ*ددااÄÅممµ جج

(for) this is a Day of eternal (life)!” . و1ي ك5لذذpممK ددولخـلٱٱ (50:31)

Forgiver of sin, ~ بنذلٱٱ ر5فاغ

Accepter of repentance, ~ لباق ,ووB وتلٱٱpبب ~

Firm in punishment, ~ بباق5علٱٱ ديدش ~

Possessor of lasting bounty. . وطلٱٱ *ىىذذpلل ~

There is no divinity except Him, F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKجج ,و

(and) to Him is the (final) destination. . ااlري5ص1مـلٱٱ 5ه*يلK(40:1)

Say: Praise be to God, who ~ لق ,ووB ىىذلٱٱ 5هـل5ل د*محـلٱٱ*

has not taken a son (for Himself). ~ اادل,وو ذ5خت1ي *مل ~

And there is no partner (needed) for Him in (ruling His) dominion, . هل *ن<1ي *مل ,ووK ف كيرشB�p مـلٱٱKكل ~

and there is no protecter (needed) for Him هل *ن<1ي *مل ,ووK ل,ووB�Ù للذلٱٱ 1ن5مC جج because of (supposed) abject weakness.

So magnify Him (for His) greatness. . بك ,ووCهه*رK ااريبكت(17:111)

And truly God—He is the Best of providers. . اا ,ووlلٱٱ ننdهل 1هKر*يخ ,وK رلٱٱe1ني5قززاا ❊

(22:58)

Truly God—He is the Provider of sustenance, ~ ااlلٱٱ ننdه 1هKرلٱٱ ,وeققااززK ❊

the Lord of Strength, the Most Firmly Enduring. . ووذذp ني5ت1مـلٱٱ 5ةة¦وقلٱٱK ~

(51:58)

And those who trust should rely on God (alone). . لٱٱ �ل1ع ,ووdلك,وت1يلف 5هB مـلٱٱKننول5ك,وت ❊

and we have relied upon Him (alone). . انلك,وت 5ه*يل1ع ,وو ~

And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth . ف ا1م 5هـل5ل ,ووB�p سلٱٱeف ا1م ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB ❊ in the earth belongs to God.

And God is sufficient as a Reckoner. . لٱب �فك ,ووdالي5ك,وو 5هÑ (4:132)

...and rely upon God (alone), لٱٱ �ل1ع *لك,وت ,ووdجج 5ه ❊

and God is sufficient as a Guardian. . لٱب �فك ,ووdالي5ك,وو 5هÑ(4:81)

God is sufficient as a Protector, . لٱب �فك ,ووdي5ل,وو 5هCا ❊

and God is sufficient as a Helper. . لٱب �فك ,ووdااري5صن 5ه (4:45)

...and your Sustaining Lord is sufficient as a Guide and a Helper. . ب1رب �فك ,ووCااري5صن ,وو ايددا1ه ك ❊

(25:31)

(As for the earth), all who are upon it will pass away, . لكw نناف ا1ه*يل1ع *ن1م ❊

but the (eternal) Self of your Sustaining Lord (O Muhammad) . ه*ج,وو �ق*ب1ي ,ووK ب1ررCووذذ كp 1جـلٱٱÄÅٱٱ ,وو للFGlمماا1ركE will endure, the Possessor of Majesty and Honor.

They [[Adam and Eve]] said: (O) our Sustaining Lord! ~ اقFG ب1ررeان1سفن"اا آن*ملظ ان We have done injustice to ourselves (by sinning), so if You do not forgive and grant mercy to us, ~ اا ,ووlان*م1ح*رت ,وو انل *ر5فغت *مل نن ~

then we will certainly be among those who are lost. . ننوكنلe 1نير5ساخـلٱٱ 1ن5م ~(7:23)

(O) our Sustaining Lord! Grant forgiveness to us, ~ ب1ررeانل *ر5فغٱٱ ان

and to our brothers who preceded us in Faith. اـ5ل ,ووlوق1ب1س 1نيذلٱٱ ان5ناا,وخpٱب انFGlجج ننا1مي ~

“(O) our Sustaining Lord, truly we have believed, ب1ررeاا آنlجج ان1ماا آنن ~

so forgive us our sins جج ان1بونذذ انل *ر5فغٱف

and save us from the punishment of the Fire (of Hell)!” . ررانلٱٱ 1ببااذ1ع ان5ق ,وو

(They are) those (who are) patiently enduring, sincerely truthful, . صلااeصلٱٱ ,وو 1نيرباe1ني5قددا

devout, charitably spending, ~ مـلٱٱ ,وو 1ني5ت5ناقلٱٱ ,ووK1ني5ق5فن

and praying for forgiveness before the break of day. . الٱب 1نير5فغت*سمـلٱٱ ,ووæررا1ح*س ~

God (Himself) bears witness that there is no divinity except Him, لٱٱ دهشdهK هن"ااK FGk ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKجج ,و

(as do) His angels and those possessed of knowledge, . المـلٱٱ ,ووÆوو�اا ,وو ةك5ئpمل5علٱٱ ااولE 5ط*س5قلٱب ا1م5ئآق (for He is) the Maintainer of Justice.

Now truly, (regarding) the friends of God, ~ اا آل"ااlوو"اا ننpلٱٱ 1ءءآ1ي5لd5ه

there will not be any fear for them and they will not sorrow— . الk وخpال ,وو *مه*يل1ع �ففk هKننون1ز*ح1ي *م ~

those who believe and are piously (God-) fearing and virtuous; . ننوقت1ي ااوناك ,وو ااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ

there is good news for them in the life of the (present) world هلKمK بلٱٱKف ى1رشB�p ف ,وو ا1يندلٱٱ 5ةةاي1حـلٱٱB�p جج 5ةة1ر5خــلٱٱ and in the Afterlife.

(Since) there can be no change can there be in the Words of God, الk لٱٱ تتا1م5ل<5ل 1ليد*بتdجج 5ه

this is a magnificent deliverance. . ه ك5لذذKوفلٱٱ ,وpمي5ظ1علٱٱ ززK (10:62)

And God loves those who do good. . لٱٱ ,ووdهK يKب5حw 1ني5ن5س*حمـلٱٱ(3:134)

(As for) those who believe ~ لٱٱ د1ع,ووdهK ااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ ❊

Only the believers are those ~ ااlمـلٱٱ ا1منK1نيذلٱٱ ننون5م�و

whose hearts are (piously) fearful when God is mentioned; ~ ااlلٱٱ 1ر5كذذ ااذذdهK بولق *تلج,ووKهKم* ~

and when His messages are recited to them, ~ اا ,ووlهت9یاا *مه*يل1ع *ت1ي5لت ااذذK ~

they are increased in faith هت1ددااززKاا *مlجج انا1مي ~

and they rely upon their Sustaining Lord (alone); . ب1رر �ل1ع ,ووCننولك,وت1ي *مه

(they are) those (who are) constant in (the performance of) the (ritual) prayers, ~ ي 1نيذلٱٱKمي5قKصلٱٱ ننوeةةال

and spend (on others) out of what We have provided to them. . مـ5م ,ووeهانقزز1رر اKي *مKننوق5فن ~

These are the real believers; وو�ااpه ك5ئ�ـلKمK مـلٱٱKجج اق1ح ننون5م�و

for them will be (ascending) ranks with their Sustaining Lord, ~ هلKب1رر دن5ع �تتا1ج1رر1دد *مCمه*

and (also) forgiveness and generous sustenance. . ميرك �ققززرر ,وو ةة1ر5فغ1م ,وو� ~(8:2)

Truly our Sustaining Lord is Most Forgiving, Justly Appreciating. . ااlب1رر ننeررو<ش �رروفغل ان� ❊

Say: (O Muhammad): (O) my Sustaining Lord! If You might show me ~ رر *لقeببC ااlمe5ن1يرت اB�p ي ا1مKوpننوود1ع ❊ (in this life) that which they are threatened (to suffer),

(O) my Lord, then do not make me (to be) among . بب1ررC فÄÅ نل1ع*جتB�p فB�p وقلٱٱpممE 1ني5مـ5لاظلٱٱ ~ unjust and oppressive people!

(23:93)

Truly I have sought refuge with my Lord and your Lord ~ ااl5نB�p عKتتذK ب1ربCBىp ب1رر ,ووC>م* ❊

from every arrogant one who does not believe in . مC5لك نCB مKبكتCر FG يKن5م�وK و1يبpممE ببا1س5حلٱٱ ~ the Day of Reckoning.

(21:89) (the prayer of the Prophet Zachariah—peace be upon him)

Truly You—You are the Knower of the hidden (reality). . ااlال1ع 1تن"اا كنÜممK يغلٱٱKببو ❊

(5:116) (the prayer of the Prophet Jesus—peace be upon him)

And You are the Witness of all things. . لك �ل1ع 1تن"اا ,ووCB ش�pديهش ¡ءء ❊


...then truly You—You are Most Mighty, Most Wise. . افlزيز1علٱٱ 1تن"اا كنK مي5<1حـلٱٱK ❊


And peace (was) upon me ~ سلٱٱ ,ووeÄÅممK ل1ع�¦ ❊

the day I was born, and (will be on) the day I die . و1يpتتد5لۇۇ 1ممw و1ي ,ووpم"اا 1ممKتتوK ~

and the day I rise up to life (again)!” . و1ي ,ووpث1ع*ب�اا 1ممK ي1حCا ~ (19:33) (the prayer of the Prophet Jesus—peace be upon him)

هللاا للاق ووAND GOD SAID [wa qāla ‘llāh]

“And I did not create the jinns and mankind except that . تقلخ ا1م ,ووK نجـلٱٱe ٱٱ ,ووFGlاا 1سنlالm ب*ع1ي5لKننوود ❊ they should worship Me.”

Truly God commands you to pay the trusts to ~ ااlلٱٱ ننdم�ا1ي 1هKرKوت نن"اا *مكêددwاا تتانا1م"اـلٱٱ ااووlـل�Ø ا1ه5ل*ه"اا ❊ those worthy of them,

and to judge with justice when you judge between people. . اا ,ووlسسانلٱٱ 1نـي1ب *مت*م<1ح ااذذB ~(4:58)

Truly God commands justice, ~ ااlلٱٱ ننdم�ا1ي 1هKرK الٱٱ ,وو للد1علٱبlاا ,وو ننا1س*حlىب*رقلٱٱ *ىىذذ �ءءآت*ي ❊ doing good (to others), giving to kinsfolk,

and forbidding indecent behavior, blameworthy actions, ن1ع �1هن1ي ,ووB مـلٱٱ ,وو �ءءآش*حفلٱٱKغ1بلٱٱ ,وو ركنB� جج ~ and rebellion.

He warns you so that you may be reminded. . ركذت *م<ل1عل *م<ظ5ع1يKننوو(16:90)

Truly there is for you a beautiful pattern (of conduct) in ~ ف *م<ل نناك دقلB�p س1ررKلٱٱ للوdةن1س1ح ةة,و*س�اا 5ه ❊ the Messenger of God,

(and) for anyone who has hope in God and the Last Day, ~ ج*ر1ي نناك *ن1م5لKلٱٱ وdو1يلٱٱ ,وو 1هp1ر5خــلٱٱ 1مم ~

and (who) remembers God often. . لٱٱ 1ركذذ ,ووdااري5ثك 1ه ~(33:21)

And he (the Prophet) does not speak from (his own) desire: ق5طن1ي ا1م ,ووK ن1عB ىى,و1هلٱٱÌ جج ❊

Truly it is (nothing) except a Revelation revealed. . ااlه ننKاا ,وlالm ح,وو*�ë يKوpـ1ح�(53:3)

O you who believe! ~ يÌي"اا اـwااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ ا1ه ❊

“Therefore, remember Me (and) I will remember you. ~ ركذذٱفKووpنB�· مك*ركذذ"اا*

And be thankful to Me and do not ungratefully deny Me.” . ر<شٱٱ ,ووKل ااووB�p ال ,ووk رفكتKننوو ~

(2:152)

(And when your Lord proclaimed,) “If you are thankful, . مكند*يز"اـل *مـت*ر<ش *ن5ئل* ❊ I will increase (favors) for you.”

(14:7)

And your Lord says, “Supplicate Me (in prayer); I will answer you.” . ب1رر 1للاق ,ووw>مK ع*ددٱٱKنوB�· م<ل *بجت*س"اا* ❊

(40:60)

Certainly the believers will be happily successful— ~ مـلٱٱ 1°لف"اا دقKننون5م�و ❊

those who are humble in their (ritual) prayers... . ه 1نيذلٱٱKف *مB�p 1صÄÅع5شاخ *مه5تKوpنن ~

(23:1)

O you ones who believe, remember God often, . يÌي"اا اـwركذذٱٱ ااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ ا1هKلٱٱ ااووdااري5ثك ااركذذ 1ه

and glorify Him in the morning and evening. . ب1س ,ووCحKههوK بK>الي5ص"اا ,وو ةة1رÑ

He is the one who sends blessings upon you, as do His angels, ~ هKي *ىىذلٱٱ ,وK5ل1صB�p 1م ,وو *م<*يل1عÄÅÆهتك5ئK

so that He may bring you from darkness into light. ي5لKم *م<1جرخC5اا تتا1ملظلٱٱ 1نlجج ررونلٱٱ �ل ~

And He is Most Merciful to the believers. . مـلٱب نناك ,ووKامي5ح1رر 1ني5ن5م�و(33:41)

Certainly the believers are a brotherhood, ااlمـلٱٱ ا1منKاا ننون5م�وlجج ةة,وخ ❊

so make peace between your two (opposing) brothers. . ح5ل*ص"افKم<*ي,وخ"اا 1نـي1ب ااو*

And piously and virtuously fear God, so that there may be mercy upon you. . لٱٱ ااوقتٱٱ ,ووdم1ح*رت *م<ل1عل 1هKننو(49:10)

And help one another in doing good and pious fear (of God), ~ ربلٱٱ �ل1ع ااون,ووا1عت ,ووC ى,وقتلٱٱ ,وو ❊

but do not help one another in sin and injustice. . ال ,ووk اـلٱٱ �ل1ع ااون,ووا1عتlمثE علٱٱ ,ووKنناا,وود ~

(5:2)

And for those (who are) certain (of faith) there are signs on earth, . ف ,ووB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB مل5ل �ت9یااK1ني5ن5قو ❊

and (also) within yourselves— ~ ف ,ووB�· م<5سفن"اا*

don’t you see? . ف"ااÄÅ ر5ص*بتKننوو ~

(51:20)

And take hold of the Rope of God, all (of you), م5صت*عٱٱ ,ووKل*ب1حب ااوB لٱٱdجج اع*ي5م1ج 5ه

and do not be divided. ال ,ووk رفتeجج ااوق

And remember the blessings and favors of God upon you. ركذذٱٱ ,ووKلٱٱ 1ت1م*ع5ن ااووdجج *م<*يل1ع 5ه

Since you were enemies; then He caused reconciliation ااlءءآآد*ع"اا *متنك ذذÝ جج *م<بولق 1نـي1ب 1فل"اف between your hearts,

so that by His blessing and favor, you kept company (together) as brothers. . اا �¢ه5ت1م*ع5نب *مت*ح1ب*ص"افlاناا,وخ(3:103)

I respond to the entreating prayer of the supplicant when he calls to Me.” . بيج�ااK ععاادلٱٱ ةة,و*ع1ددE ااlننا1ع1دد ااذذ(2:186)

“...and We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.” . ن*حن ,ووK بب1رق"ااK ااlل*ب1ح *ن5م 5ه*يلB ديرر,ولٱٱ ❊

(50:16)

And ask the forgiveness of God; . لٱٱ ر5فغت*سٱٱ ,ووd1ه ❊

truly God is Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate. . ااlلٱٱ ننdرر اارروفغ نناك 1هeامي5ح(4:106)

And (O Muhammad) truly your Sustaining Lord is He, . اا ,ووlب1رر ننeهل كKزيز1علٱٱ ,وK رلٱٱeمي5حK ❊ Most Mighty, Most Compassionate.

(26:175)

Then is one whose heart God has opened to submission (to His Will), ~ لٱٱ 1حح1رش *ن1مف"ااdهK هه1ررد1صK 5لÄÅlس*ÄÅممE ❊

so that a light (of guidance) from His Lord is upon him, (like an unbeliever)? . هفKم ررون �ل1ع ,وC5رر *نeبC5ه ~

(39:22)

Certainly a light (of guidance) has come to you from God, ~ م *مك1ءءآ1ج دقC5لٱٱ 1نdررون 5ه� ❊

and a clear Book (of revelation)... . م �ببات5ك ,ووwنيب� ~(5:15)

O mankind, certainly an admonition has come to you ~ يÌي"اا اـwسسانلٱٱ ا1هK م *مكت1ءءآ1ج دقeوpم ةظ5عC5رر *نeبC>م* ❊ from your Sustaining Lord,

and a healing for whatever is in the heart, ~ ف ا1م5ل �ءءآف5ش ,ووB�p صلٱٱwرروود ~

(2:38)

And the (best) outcome is for the piously (God-) fearing and virtuous ones. . مل5ل ة1ب5قا1علٱٱ ,ووK1ني5قت ❊

(28:83)

“And likewise We made you a midmost ~ م�اا *مكانل1ع1ج ك5لذك ,ووeاط1س,وو ة ❊ (and therefore moderate and just) community,

so that you may be witnesses over mankind سسانلٱٱ �ل1ع 1ءءآآد1هش ااونوكت5لB جج ~

and the Messenger (may be) a witness over yourselves.” . رلٱٱ ننو<1ي ,ووeسKللوK ااديهش *م<*يل1ع (2:143)

And do not be weak and do not sorrow, ال ,ووk ال ,وو ااونهتk جج ااون1ز*حت ❊

and you will be the superior ones if you are (truly) believers. . متن"اا ,ووK ول*ع"اـلٱٱpاا ننlم متنك ننw1ني5ن5م�و(3:139)

(24:35)

The Kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. هلK مKسلٱٱ كلeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج

He is the Giver of Life and the Determiner of Death, يKي*حBىp ی ,ووKت*ي5مـK جج

and He is Powerful over all things. . ه ,ووKلك �ل1ع ,وCB ش�pريدق ¡ءء�

He is the First and the Last ~ هKل¦و"اـلٱٱ ,وK ر5خــلٱٱ ,ووK

and the Outward and the Inward, ر5هاظلٱٱ ,ووK ن5طا1بلٱٱ ,ووK جج ~

and He is the Knower of all things. . ه ,ووKل<ب ,وCB ش�pمي5ل1ع ¡ءء�(57:1)

there is no divinity except Him, . F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKو,

the Lord of the Magnificent and Bountiful Throne. . بب1ررw شش*ر1علٱٱB مير<لٱٱE (23:116)

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth . يKب1سCEحK ف ا1م 5هـل5لB�p سلٱٱeف ا1م ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB glorifies God.

The Kingdom (of creation) belongs to Him and (all) praise belongs to Him, . هلK مـلٱٱKهل ,وو كلK د*م1حـلٱٱ

and He is Powerful over all things. . ه ,ووKلك �ل1ع ,وCB ش�pريدق ¡ءء�(64:1)

and made the darkness and the light. . 1ررونلٱٱ ,وو تتا1ملظلٱٱ 1ل1ع1ج ,وو ~(6:1)

Do you not see that that God created the heavens and the earth . لٱٱ نن"اا 1رت *مل"ااdسلٱٱ 1قلخ 1هeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB ❊ in truth?

(14:19)

Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth ~ يKب1سCEحK ف ا1م 5هـل5لB�p سلٱٱeف ا1م ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB ❊ glorifies God,

the King, the Most Holy, the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. . سسوودقلٱٱ ك5ل1مـلٱٱB مي5<1حـلٱٱ زيز1علٱٱE ~(62:1)

(All) praise be to God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, ~ سلٱٱ ر5طاف 5هـل5ل د*م1حـلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB ❊

Maker of the angels (as) messengers... . ل5عا1جB 1مـلٱٱÄÅÆرر 5ةك5ئKسKالÑ ~

(35:1)

(All) praise be to God, ~ ييذلٱٱ 5هـل5ل د*م1حـلٱٱ

to Whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is هلK ف ا1مB�p سلٱٱeف ا1م ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB�p ض*ر"اـلٱٱB ~ on earth.

And (all) praise belongs to Him in the Afterlife. . هل ,ووK ف د*م1حـلٱٱB�p 5ةة1ر5خــلٱٱ

And He is Most Wise, Most Aware. . ه ,ووKمي5<1حـلٱٱ ,وK ريبخـلٱٱK (34:1)

Truly (in regard to) God, the kingdom of the heavens and the earth . ااlلٱٱ ننdهل 1هK مKسلٱٱ كلeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB ❊ belongs to Him (alone),

the Giver of Life and the Determiner of Death. . يKـي*ح�p ی ,ووKت*ي5مـK

And there is no guardian or helper for you . م *م<ل ا1م ,ووC5دد *نKلٱٱ ننووdــ5ل¦وو *ن5م 5ه�Ã ال ,ووk ري5صن other than God (alone).

(9:116)

And (knowledge of) the hidden (reality) of the heavens and the earth ب*يغ 5هـل5ل ,ووK سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج ❊ belongs to God,

and all matters return to Him (for judgment). اا ,ووlي 5ه*يلK1ج*رVK ر*م"اـلٱٱK هلكK جج

So worship Him and rely upon Him (alone). . ب*عٱفKههدK 5ه*يل1ع *لك,وت ,وو(11:123)

...and He is the Guardian of everything. . ه ,ووKلك �ل1ع ,وCB ش�pلي5ك,وو ¡ءء� ❊

(6:103)

Truly God knows the hidden (reality) of . ااlلٱٱ ننdمل*ع1ي 1هK سلٱٱ 1ب*يغeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB ❊

Then praise be to God, Lord of the heavens and ~ بب1رر د*م1حـلٱٱ 5هـل5لفC سلٱٱeبب1رر ,وو تتاا,ووا1مC ض*ر"اـلٱٱB Lord of the earth,

Sustaining Lord of (all) the worlds. . بب1ررC 1ني5ملا1علٱٱ ~

And the magnification of greatness in the heavens and the earth is هل ,ووK ءءآ1ير*ب5<لٱٱK فB�p سلٱٱeض*ر"اـلٱٱ تتاا,ووا1مB جج

for Him (alone),

and He is Most Mighty, Most Wise. . ه ,ووKزيز1علٱٱ ,وK مي5<1حـلٱٱK(45:36)

from his Sustaining Lord, and (so do) the believers. . رر *ن5مeبCمـلٱٱ ,وو 5هKننون5م�و ~

All (of them) believe in God and His angels and His books . لٱب 1ن1ماا ¨لكdال1م ,وو 5هÆرر ,وو 5هبتك ,وو 5ه5تك5ئKسK5ه5ل and His messengers.

(And they say,) “We do not separate one as different from (another) . الk رفنCققK م د1ح"اا 1ن*يـ1بC5رر *نwسK5ه5ل of His messengers.”

And they say, “We listened and we will obey. جج ان*عط"اا ,وو ان*ع5م1س ااولاق ,وو

We ask Your forgiveness, (O) our Lord, and the journey’s arrival is to You.” . ب1رر كناا1رفغeاا ,وو انlري5ص1مـلٱٱ ك*يلK

God does not impose difficulty upon any soul except . الk يK>ف5لK لٱٱdهK اا اسفنlالm ا1ه1ع*سۇۇ what his ability (can endure);

Whatever (good) he earns (is favorable) to him and . ت1ب1ستكٱٱ ا1م ا1ه*يل1ع ,وو *ت1ب1سك ا1م ا1هل* whatever (bad) he earns is against him.

(O) our Sustaining Lord! Do not punish us if we forget or . ب1ررeال انk وتêاا آنذ5خااlوو"اا آني5سن ننp ان�اطخ"اا make an (unintentional) mistake.

(O) our Lord! And do not impose a burden on us ~ ب1ررeال ,وو انk اا آن*يل1ع *ل5م*حـتlاار*ص

like what You imposed on those prior to us. . هتل1م1ح ا1مكK ان5ل*بق *ن5م 1نيذلٱٱ �ل1ع ~

(O) our Lord! And do not burden us with what our strength can not bear. . ب1ررeال ,وو انk م1حتC5ال ا1م انلk 5هب انل ةقاط

And say (O Muhammad): (O) my Sustaining Lord! Let me enter ~ رر *لق ,ووeببC نل5خ*دد"ااB�p مKققد5ص 1لخد (through) the entrance of truthful sincerity,

and let me depart (through) the exit of truthful sincerity, ~ ن*جرخ"اا ,ووB�p مKققد5ص 1جج1رخ ~

and make for me, from Your presence, a power to aid and . 5ل *ل1ع*جٱٱ ,ووB�p س كندل *ن5مKااري5صن اناطل ~ gain victory.

And say: Truth has come and falsehood has disappeared; . ق1حـلٱٱ 1ءءآ1ج *لق ,ووw ل5طا1بلٱٱ 1ق1هزز ,ووK

truly falsehood is perishable. . ااlهزز نناك 1ل5طا1بلٱٱ ننKاقو

And We send down from (the revelations of) the Qur’ān ~ زنن ,ووCللK نناا*رقلٱٱ 1ن5م

that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers; . ه ا1مKمل5ل ة1م*ح1رر ,وو �ءءآف5ش ,وK1ني5ن5م�و ~

and (yet) it does not increase (anything) except loss for the unjust oppressors. . ال ,ووk الإإ 1ني5مـ5لاظلٱٱ ديز1يm ااررا1سخ (17:80)

Say: Truly I am commanded that I should worship God (alone), ~ اا *لقlتت*ر5م�اا آ1منK ب*ع"اا نن"ااKلٱٱ دd1ه

and not associate (partners) with Him. . وو, F� 5هب ككرش�اا ~

I call to Him, ~ ااlع*دد"اا 5ه*يلKااو

God! There is no divinity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Eternal. . لااdهK F� ااlاا 1هـلlالm هKيقلٱٱ ��1حـلٱٱ ,وwمموK

He sent down the Book (of revelation) to you with truth... . زنeق1حـلٱب 1ببات5<لٱٱ ك*يل1ع 1للCB(3:1)

Truly We sent it [[the Qur’ān]] down during the Night of Power. . ااlههانل1زن"اا آنK فB�p رردقلٱٱ 5ةل*يل ❊

And what can make you understand what the Night of Power is? . رردقلٱٱ ةل*يل ا1م ككاا1رر*دد"اا آ1م ,وو

Yā-Sīn. . س9ي�

Then (by) the Qur’ān of Wisdom: . مي5<1حـلٱٱ نناا*رقلٱٱ ,ووE

truly you are among the messengers, . ااlمـلٱٱ 1ن5مل كنK1ني5ل1س*ر

on a straight path. . م �ططاا1ر5ص �ل1عwمي5قت*سµ

(It is a revelation) sent down by the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate... . رلٱٱ زيز1علٱٱ 1ليزنتeمي5حE (36:1)

We did not send down the Qur-ān to you to so that . ـقشت5ل نناا*رقلٱٱ ك*يل1ع انل1زن"اا آ1م� you would be distressed...

(20:1)

These are the verses of God: We recite them to you in truth. . ت9یاا كل5تK لٱٱdولتن 5هpق1حـلٱب ك*يل1ع ا1هCB ❊

(3:108)

...and there is not anything green or dry except it is in . ال ,ووk ال ,وو بط1ررk سبا1يÃ ااlالm فB�p م ببات5كwنيبÃ ❊ a clear Book (of revelation).

(6:59)

(All) praise be to God, who sent down 1ببات5<لٱٱ 5ههد*ب1ع �ل1ع 1لل1زن"اا �ىىذلٱٱ 5هـل5ل د*م1حـلاا ❊ the Book (of revelation) to His servant,

and did not make any distortion (in regard) to it. . هل *ل1ع*ج1ي *مل ,ووK ا1ج,و5ع(18:1)

And certainly We have put forth every kind of parable . سسانل5ل ان*ب1ر1ض دقل ,ووB فB�p لك *ن5م نناا*رقلٱٱ ااذ9هCB لث1مÃ ❊

Truly this Qur’ān guides to that which is most steady and upright, . ااlتل5ل *ىىد*هي نناا*رقلٱٱ اذـ9ه ننB�p هB�, مم,وق"ااK

and it gives good news to the believers ~ ي ,ووKر5ش1بK مـلٱٱKصلٱٱ ننول1م*ع1ي 1نيذلٱٱ 1ني5ن5م�وeتتا1حـ5لا who do good deeds,

that there will be a magnificent reward for them. هل نن"ااKااريبك اار*ج"اا *م ~

…(and) by it [a clear book] God guides those who pursue His acceptance ~ لٱٱ 5هب *ىىد*ه1يdهK ن1مB هناا,و*ضرر 1ع1بتااK ❊

to the paths of peace and safety... سKبKسلٱٱ 1لeممالE ~

(5:16)

Certainly it [[the Qur’ān]] is a majestic Recitation ~ ه *ل1بKم نناا*رق ,وeديج ❊

(recorded) on a well-preserved tablet. . فB�p ولpححµ مeظظوف*ح� ~

Truly We sent down the Reminder, ااlن*حن انK زنeجج 1ركذلٱٱ انل ❊

and surely We will preserve it (from corruption). . اا ,ووlهل انK ننوظ5فا1حـل(15:9)

Then (O Muhammad) set your face firmly to the true Religion... . نيدل5ل ك1ه*ج,وو *م5ق"افB يقلٱٱCمE ❊

And (O Muhammad) remember your Sustaining Lord ~ رر *ركذذٱٱ ,ووeبeف كB�p ر1ضت ك5سفنwةف*ي5خ ,وو اع ❊ within yourself (in a) humble and piously and virtuously (God-) fearing (manner),

and without loud speech in the morning and the evening. . دد ,ووKووpوقلٱٱ 1ن5م ر*ه1جـلٱٱ ننpوودغلٱب للÊ للا1صاـلٱٱ ,وو ~

and do not be among the neglectful and heedless. . ال ,ووk م *نكتC51ني5ل5فاغلٱٱ 1ن (7:205)

And persist firmly (in doing) the (ritual) prayer ~ م5ق"اا ,ووE صلٱٱeةةال ❊

at both ends of the day and at the (first) degrees of the night. . ف1رط�B م افلزز ,وو ررا1هنلٱٱC5ل*يلٱٱ 1نB

Truly good (deeds) make evil (deeds) disappear. . ااlي تتان1س1حـلٱٱ ننKسلٱٱ 1نـب5هذeيـCتتا¿ى

This is a reminder to those who remember (God). . 1نير5كااذل5ل ى1ركذذ ك5لذذ(11:114)

Recite (O Muhammad) what is revealed to you of the Book, لتااK وو�اا آ1مpحB�, ااlجج ببات5<لٱٱ 1ن5م ك*يل

and persist firmly (in doing) the (ritual) prayer. . م5ق"اا ,ووE صلٱٱeÄÅةة

Truly the (ritual) prayer hinders (one) from shameful acts . ااlصلٱٱ ننeÄÅن1ع �1هنت ةةB مـلٱٱ ,وو �ءءآش*حفلٱٱKركن and denial (of the truth).

And remembrance of God is the greatest [worship]. . ركذل ,ووK لٱٱdر1بك"اا 5هK

And God knows whatever you do. . لٱٱ ,ووdهK مل*ع1يK عن*صت ا1مKننو(29:45)

(17:79)

Say: O God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, لقB هــللٱٱKمe سلٱٱ 1ر5طافeض*ر"اـلٱٱ ,وو تتاا,ووا1مB جج ❊

Knower of the hidden and the manifest! . 5ةة1ددا1هشلٱٱ ,وو ب*يغلٱٱ 1م5لا1ع(39:46)

Say: Praise be to God. . لقB 5هـل5ل د*م1حـلٱٱ ❊

(31:25)

And rely upon God, . لٱٱ �ل1ع *لك,وت ,ووd5ه ❊

and God is sufficient as a Guardian and Governor. . لٱب �فك ,ووdالي5ك,وو 5هÑ (33:3)

And rely upon the Ever-Living who never dies, . 1حـلٱٱ �ل1ع *لك,وت ,وو�ÊB ىىذلٱٱ* FG مـ1یKتتوK ❊

and glorify Him with praise. . ب1س ,ووCE5ههد*م1حب *ح(25:58)

Persist firmly (in doing) the (ritual) prayer ~ م5ق"ااE صلٱٱeةةال

from the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night, . ولد5لpس*مشلٱٱ ككB ااlق1سغ �لB ل*يلٱٱB ~

and the Qur’ān (recitation) in (the first light of) the morning; جج ر*جفلٱٱ نناا*رق ,وو

truly the Qur’ān (recitation) in the morning (ritual prayer) . ااlهش1م نناك ر*جفلٱٱ نناا*رق ننKااددو is witnessed [by the angels].

And God is Witness over all things. . لٱٱ ,ووdهK لك �ل1عCB ش�pديهش ¡ءء(85:9)

Say (O Muhammad): Truly my Sustaining Lord throws ~ اا *لقlب1رر ننCBىp ففذق1يK ق1حـلٱبCB ❊ the truth [against falsehood];

(he is) the Knower of the hidden (realities). . 1عÄÅممK يغلٱٱKببو ~

(34:48)

Say (O Muhammad): I only call to my (Sustaining) Lord, اا *لقlع*دد"اا آ1منKب1رر ااوCBىp جج ❊

and I never associate anyone (as a partner) with Him. . وو, F� ااد1ح"اا ¢�هب ككرش�اا(72:20)

Say (O Muhammad): Truly no one can protect me from God, اا *لقlنB�p ي *نلKن1ر*يجB�p لٱٱ 1ن5مdجج د1ح"اا 5ه ❊

and I cannot find a refuge except (with) Him... . دد *ن5م دج"اا *نل ,ووKم 5ه5نووKااد1حتل(72:22)

...and say (O Muhammad): (O) my Sustaining Lord! Increase me in knowledge! . رر *لق ,ووeببC ن*ددززB�p امل5ع ❊

(20:114)

...and say (O Muhammad): It may be that my Sustaining Lord will guide me ~ ـ1س1ع *لق ,وو�Ø ن1يد*ه1ي نن"ااB ب1ررCBىp ❊

closer than this to (what is even more) right. . F5Gæاادش1رر ااذ9ه *ن5م 1بب1رق ~

(18:24)

And be patiently enduring; and you have no patience (O Muhammad,) . ر*ب1ص ا1م ,وو *رب*صٱٱ ,ووKاا ككlالm لٱبd5ه ❊ except with (the help of) God...

and be patiently enduring until God gives judgment. لٱٱ 1م<*ح1ي �ت1ح *رب*صٱٱ ,ووdهK جج

And He is the Best of Judges. . ه ,ووKر*يخ ,وK 1ني5م5كا1حـلٱٱ(10:109)

And say (O Muhammad): (O) my Lord! I seek refuge . رر *لق ,ووeببC ع"ااKوpني5طا1يشلٱٱ تتاا1ز1م1ه *ن5م كب ذذB ❊

with You from the goads of satans;

And I seek refuge with You, (O) my Lord, if they are present (near) me. . ع"اا ,ووKوpبب1رر كب ذذC ض*ح1ي نن"ااKرKننوو(23:97)

And if an evil insinuation is suggested to you by Satan, ~ اا ,ووlمeغغ*زن نناط*يشلٱٱ 1ن5م كنغ1زن1ي ا ❊

then seek refuge with God. . لٱب ذ5عت*سٱفd5ه ~

Truly He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. . ااlهنK هKسلٱٱ ,وeعي5مK مي5ل1علٱٱK(41:36)

No, rather you must worship God (alone), . ل1بB لٱٱdب*عٱف 1هKد ❊

and be among the thankful ones. . م *نك ,ووC51نير5كاشلٱٱ 1ن(39:66)

“Announce to My servants that truly I am Most Forgiving, . بنCB5ن"اا �ىىددا1ب5ع �ىB�· رروفغلٱٱ ان"ااK رلٱٱeمي5حK ❊ Most Compassionate.”

(15:49)

Therefore, pardon them (O Muhammad), ف*عٱفK هن1عKجج *م ❊

Truly those who believe and do good deeds ~ ااlصلٱٱ ااول5م1ع ,وو ااون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ ننeتتا1ح5لا

will have Gardens of Paradise as their place of hospitality, . هل *تناكKتتان1ج *مK وو1دد*ر5فلٱٱpسسB زنKالÕ ~

remaining therein; they will not desire any change . جج ا1هي5ف 1نيد5لاخ FG ال,و5ح ا1هن1ع ننوغ*ب1يÕ from (dwelling) there.

Say (O Muhammad): If the ocean were ink for (writing) the words ~ ول *لقp ر*ح1بلٱٱ نناكK ب1رر تتا1م5ل<5ل ااددااد5مCBىp of my Sustaining Lord,

surely the ocean would be dried up (well) before the words ر*ح1بلٱٱ د5فنلK تتا1م5لك دفنت نن"اا 1ل*بقK ب1ررCBىp جج ~ of my Lord would come to an end,

even if We brought one similar to it as an increase. . ول ,ووp ىجïااددد1م 5ه5لث5مب ان

Say (O Muhammad): Truly I am a man like (all of) you, ~ اا *لقlم �رش1ب ان"اا آ1منC5م<لث*

(but) it is revealed to me that your God is One God. . يKوpـ1ح�Ø ااlاا آ1من"اا ¦�لlهـلK>اا *مlد5حاا,وو �هـل ~

So whoever hopes to meet His Sustaining Lord, ~ ج*ر1ي نناك *ن1مفKب1رر 1ءءآق5ل ااوC5ه

truly he must do good deeds, ~ ال1م1ع *ل1م*ع1يلفÑ احـ5لا1ص ~

and never associate anyone (as a partner) in the worship of his Lord. . وو, FG يKب1رر 5ةة1ددا1ب5عب ككرشCااد1ح"اا �¢ه ~

(18:107)

Then, when you have made a firm resolution, rely upon God (alone). افlلٱٱ �ل1ع *لك,وتف 1ت*م1ز1ع ااذذdجج 5ه

Truly God loves those (who are) trusting (of Him). . ااlلٱٱ ننdي 1هKب5حw مـلٱٱK1ني5ل5ك,وت (3:159)

Then glorify your Sustaining Lord with praise, and ask His forgiveness. ب1سفCEب1رر د*م1حب *حCهه*ر5فغت*سٱٱ ,وو كK جج ❊

Truly He is Ever-Turning (in forgiveness). . ااlهنK اباا¦وت نناك(110:3)

Then (O Muhammad,) glorify your Sustaining Lord with praise . ب1سفCEب1رر د*م1حب *حCك

and be among of those who prostrate (in prayer). . م *نك ,ووC5سلٱٱ 1نe1نيدجا

And worship your Lord ~ ب*عٱٱ ,ووKب1رر دeك

until the certainty [of death] comes to you. . ني5ق1يلٱٱ ك1ي5ت�ا1ي �ـت1حK ~

And the grace and favor of God upon you is very great (O Muhammad). . ل*ضف نناك ,ووK لٱٱdامي5ظ1ع ك*يل1ع 5ه ❊

(4:113)

And truly for you (O Muhammad) there will be a reward . اا ,ووlننون*مـ1م 1ر*يغ اار*ج"اـل كل نن ❊ (that will) never diminish.

And truly on you is (an endowment of) lofty morals. . اا ,ووlقلخ �ل1عل كنÃ مي5ظ1عµ(68:3)

Glory be to the one Who took His servant for a night journey ~ سKال*يل 5ههد*ب1عب ى1ر*س"اا �ىىذلٱٱ ننا1ح*بÑ

from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, ~ مC5مماا1ر1حـلٱٱ دج*س1مـلٱٱ 1نE ااl1صق"اـلٱٱ دج*س1مـلٱٱ �ل� ~

which We blessed (all) around it, و1ح انك1ررا1ب *ىىذلٱٱpهلK جج ~

so that We might show him (some) of Our signs. . ه1يرن5لK آن5ت9یاا *ن5م

Truly He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. . ااlهنK هKسلٱٱ ,وeعي5مK ري5ص1بـلٱٱK(17:1)

that weighed heavily on your back? . كك1ر*هظ 1ضقن"اا �ىىذلٱٱ ~

And (didn’t) We elevate your mention (and fame)? . كك1ركذذ كل ان*عف1رر ,وو

For truly ease and comfort come along with difficulty; ~ افl1م ننV1 علٱٱKي ر*سKاار*س

truly ease and comfort come along with difficulty. . ااl1م ننV1 علٱٱKي ر*سKاار*س ~

So when you are at leisure, continue to strive (in prayer and remembrance), . افlب1صنٱف 1تغ1رف ااذذ*

and incline with longing love toward your Sustaining Lord. . اا ,ووlب1رر �لCبغ*ررٱف ك* (94:1)

Truly We have opened up a clear victory for you (O Muhammad), ~ ااlم احتف كل ان*حتف انwانيب

so that God may forgive you (for) whatever mistakes ~ لٱٱ كل 1ر5فغ1ي5لdهK كبنذذ *ن5م 1ممدقت ا1م ~ you made before

and whatever may come later, جج 1رخ"ات ا1م ,وو ~

and (so that He may) complete His blessings and favors toward you, ي ,ووKم5تe هت1م*ع5نK جج ك*يل1ع

and guide you on a straight path, . م اطاا1ر5ص ك1يد*ه1ي ,ووwامي5قت*س

and (so that) God may aid you with a mighty help. . صن1ي ,ووKلٱٱ كك1رdهK اازيز1ع اار*صن(48:1)

And the Word of your Sustaining Lord has been completed . مت ,ووeت1م5لك *تK ب1ررCالد1ع ,وو اقد5ص كÕ in truth and in justice;

no one can change His Words. . الm مK5ه5تا1م5ل<5ل 1للد1ب

And He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. . ه ,ووKسلٱٱ ,وeعي5مK مي5ل1علٱٱK (6:115)

(23:118)

And We sent you (O Muhammad) as a messenger to mankind. . سسانل5ل ككانل1س*رر"اا ,ووB س1ررKالوÕ ❊

And God is sufficient as a Witness. . لٱب �فك ,ووdااديهش 5ه (4:79)

Say: It is only revealed to me ~ اا *لقlي ا1منKوpـح�Ø ااlل�¦ ❊

that your God is One God. . اا آ1من"ااlهـلK>اا *مlد5حاا,وو �هـل ~

(21:108)

“Today I have perfected your religion for you, ~ و1يلااpتل1مك"اا 1ممK مكنيدد *م<ل*

and completed My favor upon you, . ت*م1مـت"اا ,ووK ت1م*ع5ن *م<*يل1عB�p ~

and have chosen submission (to My Will) as the religion for you.” . ت*ي5ض1رر ,ووK م<لK اـلٱٱlانيدد 1ممال*س(5:3)

We sent it [[the Qur’ān]] down with truth, ~ ق1حـلٱب ,ووCB ههانل1زن"ااK

and it has come down in truth. . ق1حـلٱب ,ووCB 1لل1زن ~

And We did not send you (O Muhammad) except . اا ككانل1س*رر"اا آ1م ,ووlالm مKااريذن ,وو اار5ش1ب (as) a bringer of good news and (as) a warner.

with wisdom and beautiful preaching; و1مـلٱٱ ,وو 5ة1م<5حلٱبpجج 5ةن1س1حـلٱٱ 5ةظ5ع ~

and debate with them with what is most excellent and good. . هلددا1ج ,ووKتلٱب *مB�p هB�, ن1س*ح"ااK(16:125)

...and (O Muhammad) invite (people) to your Sustaining Lord. اا عع*ددٱٱ ,ووlب1رر �لCجج ك ❊

Truly you are on a straight (way of) guidance. . ااlه �ل1عل كنKم ىىدwمي5قت*سµ

(22:67)

O Messenger! Deliver what has been sent down (of revelation) to you ~ يÌي"اا اـwرلٱٱ ا1هeسKللوK 5ل1بEá اا 1للزن�اا آ1مlك*يل ❊

from your Sustaining Lord . ب1رر *ن�مCك ~(5:67)

And good and evil are not equal. . وو, FG وو ةن1س1حـلٱٱ *ىىوت*ست, FG سلٱٱeيCة¿ى ❊

Drive away (evil) with what is most excellent and good; . ااlف*ددV* تلٱبB�p هB�, ن1س*ح"ااK

so then the one (regarding) whom there was hatred between you and him ~ افlهن*ي1ب ,وو كن*ي1ب *ىىذلٱٱ ااذذK ةة,ووااد1ع

may be a warm friend. . هن"اكK ل,ووB�Ù مي5م1ح� ~

Truly (O Muhammad) you are only a warner. . ااlريذن 1تن"اا آ1من� ❊

And God is the Guardian of all things. . لٱٱ ,ووdهK لك �ل1عCB ش�pلي5ك,وو ¡ءء�(11:12)

Truly no one despairs of the Mercy of God ~ ااlهنK الk س"ــ*يا1يK رر *ن5مeووpححE لٱٱd5ه ❊

except ungrateful denying people. . ااlالm وقلٱٱpممK ر5فا<لٱٱKننوو ~

(12:87) (the words of the Prophet Ya`qūb—peace be upon him)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Say (O Muhammad): O my servants ~ ـل1ع ااوف1ر*س"اا 1نيذلٱٱ 1ىىددا1ب5ع ا1ي *لق�Ø مه5سفن"اا* who have acted excessively against yourselves,

do not be despondent about the Mercy of God. . FG رر *ن5م ااوطنقتeلٱٱ 5ة1م*حd5ه ~

Truly God forgives all sins, . ااlلٱٱ ننdر5فغ1ي 1هK اع*ي5م1ج 1ببونذلٱٱ

for He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. . ااlهنK هKرروفغلٱٱ ,وK رلٱٱeمي5حK(39:53)

O you who believe! . يÌي"اا اـwاا·ون1ماا 1نيذلٱٱ ا1ه

When the call is made for the day of ~ ااlون ااذذpصل5ل 1ىىددeÄÅو1ي *ن5م 5ةةpممE جـلٱٱKمK5ة1ع congregational (ritual) prayer [on Fridays],

then hurry to the remembrance of God and . و1ع*سٱفpاا ااlلٱٱ ركذذ �لdررذذ ,وو 5هK1ع*ي1بلٱٱ ااوو ~ leave buying and selling.

That is better for you, if you (only) knew. . اا *م<ل �ر*يخ *م<5لذذlمل*عت *متنك ننKننو(62:9)
