Attached Is an Initial summary of the results of laboratory analyses of air, groundwater, surface water, soil, and sediment samples collected at the PSC Resow-ces site In Palmer, Massachusetts. This summary Is Intended to act as an Inventory of analytical data contained in the PSC Resources file and as an aid to Wldentandina the types and distribution of contaminants for the purpose of addressinc data aaps In the remedial investiptlon. None of the data presented has been formally validated.

' The attached data table presents analytical results in terms of the number of ~compounds/elements detected for each analysis and the reported ranae in concentration.

Additional summary maps displayinc sample locations, selected constituent compotmdslelements and detected concentrations are provided to aide in evaluation of the lateral extent of contaminant micration. A &eneral strati&raphic cross-section based on subsurface borln& lop Is provided to aid In evaluatin& the vertical distribution of contaminants, sample intervals, and th..- potential for vertical micration. Review of this data packa&e is intended to provide the basis for a discussion of existin& data saps to be addressed durin& a meetin& on November 22, 1989 at the DEP in Boston.
