MD beating up his own WG and they ask for forgiveness
I happened to visit WG to look in [sale by owner] section. There was a thread on the invicta top value, 3 pos in a gaudy yellow box for $1734.00+shipping+tax=appox. $1900.00. Some people were posting on how it was overpriced and they weren't going to buy it. I guess Md woke up on the wrong side of the gutter and jumped all over them as so called experts and they didn't know what they were talking about because they didn't work for the company. He went on in the thread to berate them individualy and threaten them in his bullying way. Several asked for his forgiveness and thanked him for putting up with them. I will never support anything he is associated with and I have to wonder what is wrong with that membership.

What is wrong with Mike Davis defending the pricing? It is his house and he can do what he wants. If the members don't like it, they can come here to renatogeeks.com.

Really? Your standing up for that POS? I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.

Agreed... screw that guy. He's a useless convict who can't even vote or own a firearm. Could you imagine not being able to vote or own a firearm? How useless can a person be in society? lol

You're all just jealous because poker players aren't trying to buy the watches off your wrist at the World Series of Poker

A lot of people have been convicted of a crime, does that make them off limits?

Mr. Davis is a total douchebag, liar, thief, poser and pretend Navy SEAL, who was caught in the act. He is not very smart. That Invicta employs him and ShopNBC allows him on the air, tells you all you need to know about these two companies.

Not necessarily. Everyone should be capable of learning from their mistakes. However, it is apparent the FALSE NAVY SEAL, who stole real heroes' honor, the FALSE MAGNA CUM LAUDE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS GRADUATE has not. Therefore, he was, and still is, a total ass clown.

Do a lot of people also lie about being a Navy SEAL? Do a lot of people rob bowling alleys?
Do a lot of people lie about their college education? Sure, everyone is allowed a second chance but then.. Do a lot of people also commit multiple felonies by carrying firearms after already being convicted of a felony? That's not even mentioning his "ban whoever I want" bully mentality. That's also not to mention the public lashing he gave Renato on his own stupid ass website for no good reason other than to be a bully. His diatribes against Renato were hilarious in the fact that his company has committed a slew of C/S and sales atrocities that are barely comprehendible to the normal person. He's a lying bully and he also is a convicted felon who seems to have not learned one lesson while incarcerated. I do not feel for this man.

Exactly. Mike is a scumbag. Convicted Felon, False claims of being a Navy Seal, lies about graduation from University of Texas with HONORS and runs WG like a tyrant. Yeah, he's a true stand up guy and I should trust him to tell me the truth about anything he's trying to sell me...

He scrubbed the threads and posts from the other night because when he sobered up because he knew he had stepped in it. He thinks that Eyal will never see how he was talking to invicta,s best clients. Ah, not so fast my friend, Eyal is clued in to you and your abuse and your time at watch geeks is limited. Break out the big ban hammer now Mikey. You can get away with lying but when you damage their bottom line, your gone.

While the forum is pretty open to most topics, as I and others like I am sure,......I personally feel that the more we can leave all the MD/EL/WG/SNBC politics and issues over at WG and not soil this forum the better.

It's this attitude that has this forum as exciting as milk toast. Lumpy Davis is relevant here. His dislike for all that is Renato...Daniel Minks comments about him being a fly on his collar....the large number of geeks and exgeeks here makes him the perfect target.

Drama isn't exciting, its drama....which thought was only exciting to people like my teenage daughter. And use of the word soil makes no assertions as to truth or un truth-its "to make dirty" which as far as I'm concerned anything involving MD qualifies and I would like personally think that wouldn't be wanted here. Aside from that, we really need to waste our time and dredge this stuff up, bring it here and "target" people who, while we may not like them, have done nothing more to most than be bullies on a watch forum? I'm not defending MD....I'm saying subject matter involving him isn't worth my time and is below the image I feel this forum represents and that Renato as a brand represents. Maybe most importantly however, is that I expressed my take, you yours (and we likely will do so again)---and nobody is going to get warnings or banned because of it due to the open nature of this forum.

"freedom of speech", here at this forum is one of the strong points we hold. It allows us ALL to state our feelings openly, and for the most part, without fear of being banned. As long as that privledge does not get abused and only personal opinions OR the truth be posted here,,,,it's just discussion.

Well md response isnt a surprise since IWC owns the WG forum. If I make a statement or give my opinion then I stand by it. Ain't no sucker online gonna make me apologize for squat. As far as that deal goes it was way overpriced and thats why they are still available.

I was given the grumpy user hack ban treatment at Bunnyland. Haven't been able to go on safari there. Who was sucking up after the Mike "I'd rather have the inside of a bottle than a bottle inside of me" Davis beat down?

Back to the original issue, that set was not worth what they were asking. The same old model, different dress. Nearly 600 a piece? nah.

Here is a little help for people who don't know how to navigate an un-censored forum. If you see content you do not like in the title...>DON'T OPEN THE THREAD If a member continues to bother you...>DON"T OPEN THE THREAD If that fails...>Put offending person on IGNORE You can't change, control or influence how a person post...but you can change what you read.

Yeh... sure; Quack, quack, quack. I commend your grasp of the obvious. I find nothing offensive here, simply boorish, and I'd wager I'm probably not alone. I just thought that everything said here - that some people are skunks and lots of other people don't care for them - had already been well more than established previously on this forum, that the owner of this forum had asked that we leave such skunks lie where they belong (elsewhere), and that we had moved past it. Perhaps some have not. Perhaps they never will. Whatever.

Mike D of WG is not easy on the eyes and I can't stand him moving his hands and fingers as he talks about Invicta watches. I remember his bullying ways during the heated thread regarding the genuineness of the stones on the Pro Divers with meteorite dial and COSC. That was before he took the job at Invicta. Should have known that his bias and favoritism to Invicta at the time was part of courting a position with Invicta. He would be all over you on his site if anyone had anything unfavorable to say about Invicta.

Big Jim, you are the voice of sanity, maturity and reason. Hence, you will be shouted down. But keep it up, guy!
