Before the starting of a new part, the
supplier fills the Excel sheet
− No automatic filling, no control of the data
Excel and PDF file shared thru e-mails to
Renault in order to get the validation
− Pack engineer validates the technical proposal
− Buyer validates the economical proposal

Improve the way we create and modify the PDS − Improve the data quality and make the documentation of the PDS easier for the supplier
− Simplify and accelerate the process for sharing and validating the PDS
− Reduce the time spent to manage the PDS
− Record automatically the PDS data into the different systems used to manage logistic,
purchasing and quality
− Make easier the identification of the active PDS for each part
Improve the performance of supply chain and purchasing departments − Reduce the logistic cost
− Create the PDS repository (project and mass production parts)
− Make possible the analysis of the PDS and the reporting a posteriori (for example, PDS cost
for one vehicle)
