The Master Van has been specifically designed to adapt to the most demanding requirements. With load volumes of up to 17m3 and payloads up to 1593 kg (3.5T versions) and 2167 kg (4.5T versions). There are many factory conversions to choose from, including tippers and luton vans. There is also a wide range of platform and chassis cab versions that can be converted into a vast array of other products, from wheelchair access minibuses and refrigerated vans, to ambulances. To make your working day easier and safer, a new generation of electronic stability controls (ESC) are now standard on every version of the Master. Features include: Hill Start Assist, Grip Xtend and Trailer Swing Assist.

Renault Master, a solution for you

The Master engine benefits from the best in modern technology. It consists of a variable geometry turbocharger (dCi 110 hp, dCi 130 hp and dCi 170 hp) and Twin Turbo (ENERGY dCi 110 hp, ENERGY dCi 145 hp and ENERGY dCi 170), thus offering a large range of engines to meet everyone’s needs. The Twin Turbo engine, with Stop & Start technology and the new regenerative braking system (Energy Smart Management), helps Master achieve fuel economy of up to 40.4mpg* (LCV) or 44.8mpg* (Passenger) helping you to minimise fuel costs.

Twin Turbo: doubly effectiveWith Twin Turbo technology , the new ENERGY engines (dCi 145 and dCi 170) offer more power than their Euro 5 equivalents.

"Twin Turbo" technology

The ENERGY variants of the 2.3 Litre Master engine include twin turbo technology. This enables a diesel engine to combine torque at low speeds and high power with immediate benefit to driving pleasure. It includes two sequential turbochargers:

- The first low inertia turbo provides high torque from low speeds to give you greater responsiveness when getting under way from stationary.

- The second takes over at higher speeds, letting you call on more power without running out of steam, giving you smooth, steady, regular acceleration. With this system the engine is always operating in its optimal yield bracket, offering immediate benefits in terms of consumption, CO2 emissions and efficiency.

The combi and bus versions are also fitted with Euro6b engines delivering 145 hp, 165 hp (bus) and 170 hp (combi).

EURO 6 and AdBlue®

Ensuring our customers take advantage of the latest engine technology, the Master comes equipped with the latest Euro 6 compliant engines. Featuring an upgraded SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, these engines cut harmful Nitrous Oxides (NOx) emissions by over half through injecting AdBlue® solution into the exhaust gases. AdBlue® is a clear, non-toxic and non-flammable water-based, high purity operating fluid, which is added downstream of the engine in the exhaust system, meaning you still receive the maximum efficiency from all our engines whilst reducing harmful pollutants.

Well adapted. With an effective loading length of between 2583mm and 3733mm, the Master front-wheel drive has a load volume of between 8m3 and 14.8m3 depending on the loading height and length. The Master rear-wheel drive, with a maximum effective loading length of between 3733mm and 4383mm and offers up to 17 m3 of load volume. Our large-volume solutions on chassis cab give you even more space with 20 m3 to 22 m3 of load volume.

The LHL single rear-wheel drive versions* are perfect for road transport, the 17m3 load volume is ideal for distribution and express courier services. These single rear-wheel drive versions offer 30 cm more width between the wheel arches than its twin wheel cousin and lets you load 5 euro pallets into the van. With its two leaf springs at the rear, it combines comfort and loading capacity, delivering ideal driving comfort for motorway and long distance driving.

Available in 4 lengths and 3 heights, Master offers a load volume of between 8 m3 and 22 m3, with a payload of up to2,151 kg (on rear-wheel drive 4.5t versions).

Euro-pallets welcome. You will benefit from the maximum width of 1380mm (single wheel), as well as the 1270mm side opening. At the rear, its large autoclave doors open 270° degrees. All this combined allows the Master front-wheel drive to transport 4 euro pallets. The rear-wheel drive versions can transport up to 5 euro pallets.

Nothing is more important than safety in the workplace. The Renault Master understands this: its driving assistance systems are more innovative than ever.

Safety for all

Protection Renault Master is equipped with the driver airbag as standard and the passenger airbag and side airbags as an option. Its 3-point seat belts with load limiters are height adjustable for tailor-made safety.

Fixed cornering lights These increase the field of vision covered by the headlights when you go round a corner.

Rear parking sensorThe rear parking sensor detects any obstacles during a manoeuvre and informs you of their proximity with a sequence of beeps that get increasingly loud, the closer you get to an obstacle (optional).

Hill Start Assist and Trailer Swing Assist On a hill, the brake pressure is automatically maintained for two seconds, giving the driver time to manoeuvre.

New generation ESC everyday use: Grip XtendESC ensures vehicle stability and detects the load level to improve the effectiveness of trajectory corrections. It now has essential features for everyday use: extended grip, which ensures the vehicle recovers grip on loose surfaces such as sand, mud or snow; and the trailer anti-swaying system, which detects trailer swaying and corrects it (combined with the trailer coupling option).

Grip XtendOver loose surfaces such as gravel, light snow and mud, engage Grip Xtend and one wheel will be allowed to spin to help you gain traction.

For professionals that need to store tools and equipment, the Ready4Work system arrives at your dealer fitted so you can get straight to work. There is a choice of two specifications to suit your needs, the Basic Storage System and the Specialist Storage System.

Ready4Work

Basic Storage System The Basic Storage System has been designed to provide engineering tradesmen with an economical racking system suitable for the storage of a wide range of tools, components and accessories, with the option to add additional features. The system comprises of three pre-assembled sections designed for simple and rapid installation whilst providing a safe and roadworthy installation.

ConstructionA two part phenolic coated floor (cut 9mm plywood base with anti-slip phenolic coating to the top face). This fits directly into the vehicle without drilling, pre-fitted attachment brackets connect to the existing load lashing points.

Specialist Storage System The Specialist Storage System is constructed from the same lightweight high strength steel materials as the Basic Storage System. This system has been designed to suit the more specialised tradesman, who requires an improved system for the storage of tools and service equipment.

ConstructionThe rear left-hand unit and right-hand forward tool panel assembly, including x3 Euro Bins and x2 750mm Storage Baskets are identical to Kit 1.

The rear right-hand unit now also includes:An additional high quality tool storage system comprising a telescopic drawer unit module consisting of x2 500mm wide x 355mm deep x 75mm high drawers and x1 500mm wide x 355mm deep x 150mm high drawer. Adjacent to the drawer unit is a 500mm wide x 355mm deep x 75mm high shelf.

Renault Services4 years warranty and Renault AssistanceYour vehicle is covered by a warranty package for up to 4 years /100,000 miles (whichever comes first). The first 2 years are unlimited mileage, followed by a further 2 years up to 100,000 miles. Your dealer is able to repair or replace, without charge, parts that are found to have a material or assembly defect that is recognised by Renault. The paintwork warranty runs for a period of 3 years and the anti-corrosion warranty for a period of 12 years.

Should you need it, we’ll provide emergency roadside repairs or tow you to the nearest Renault dealer. This service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Renault Assistance Cover, provided from months 0 to 48, includes: assistance at the roadside and home, as well as national recovery. Onward travel with European cover from months 0 to 36 only. Cover includes mechanical or electrical defects covered by the warranty.
