"And YHWH said to Mosheh , 'I am that which I am. [ehyeh asher ehyeh]' and

he said, 'so you will say to the sons of Y’isra’EL, "I am [ehyeh] has sent me to

you." 'and YHWH said further to Mosheh, 'now you are to say to the sons of

Y’isra’EL, "YHWH, elohey of your fathers Abraham, Yitzchak [Isaac], and

Yaa’qob [Jacob], has sent me to you. this is my name forever, and this is my

memorial for generation to generation." ' "Shemoth 6:3," 'and I appeared to

Abraham, to Yitzchak, and to Yaa’qob as hashadday [the almighty]. and my

name, YHWH, was not well known (famous) to them.

YHWH, ELOHEY TSEBAOTH, is his name.

Message of Reconciliation

Torah sh’Bichtav

(Written Torah)

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Yahu(ah)shua

Ivrim 6:1

Therefore leaving the elementary principles of HaMashiyach, let us go on unto

perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and

of faith toward Elohiyim,

Acts 2:38

Then Kefa (פטרוס) said unto them, Teshuvah, and be immersed every one of you

in the Name of Yahu(ah)shua HaMashiyach for the remission of sins, and ye

shall receive the gift of the Ruakh HaQodesh.

Be immersed: a ritual statement of intention and commitment to follow not only

YHWH but also the king that He has established.

Page 4: Repentance

Take away any of these and the kingdom will not exist

The king of kings will rule with his people in the kingdom of YHWH, its a

righteous kingdom, chartered by his laws ( torah)

The Torah is the Book of Life, the written word of YHWH, who became the

living (key) word of YHWH in Yahu(ah)shua HaMashiyach

Tehillim 2:6

Yet have I set My King upon My Tziyon Har Kadosh.

No one else's opinion matters. They have no authority to overrule His choice of

who is to be king.

Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before YHWH,

when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants

thereof,

that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and

wept before me;

I also have heard thee, saith YHWH.

Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered

into thy grave in peace;

His sacred ruakh overwhelms me with his tender loving kindness

These words touch my Ruakh so much „ I cried out to the father)

Page 5: Repentance

Repentance is accompanied by a commitment to change, turning toward

righteousness and away from unrighteousness

And Elohiyim saw their works,

that they turned from their evil way

;and Elohiyim repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them;

and he did it not.

He see,s our humility and commitment to turn away from evil.

And so,

repentance is actually a 'work'

But does YHWH (Yahu(ah)) repent also?

Consider for a moment that YHWH (Yahu(ah)) has a certain standard of

righteousness.

When man goes 'against' that standard of righteousness it is likened unto a man

walking in the face of a mighty wind.

he changed direction and goes with the wind that was at one time against him.

YHWH (Yahu(ah)) does not change,

His standard of righteousness,

Page 6: Repentance

In our repentance

YHWH (Yahu(ah)) requires humility and true sorrow for one's sins.

But let it be clear that sorrow is not repentance.

Some would say they are sorry for their sins but it produces nothing.

True repentance starts with sorrow and produces good works.

Paul, when he wrote to the Corinthians in his first letter rejoiced to see their

sorrow turn to true repentance.

When he wrote them in his second letter, he noted:

2 Corinthians 7:8

For though I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it; though I did

regret it-- for I see that that letter caused you sorrow, though only for a while I

now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made

sorrowful to repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to {the will of}

Elohiyim, in order that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. For the

sorrow that is according to Elohiyim produces a repentance without regret,

leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death. For behold what

earnestness this very thing, this sorrow according to Elohiyim, has produced in

you: what vindication of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing,

what zeal, what avenging of wrong! In everything you demonstrated yourselves

to be innocent in the matter.

Yeshayahu 55:7

Page 7: Repentance

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let

him return unto YHWH (YAHU(AH)), and he will have mercy upon him; and to

our Elohiyim, for he will abundantly pardon.

YirmeYahu 3:12

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou

backsliding Israel, saith YHWH (YAHU(AH)); and I will not cause mine anger

to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith YHWH ( YAHU(AH)), and I will not

keep anger for ever.

North: i.e., toward Ashur (Assyria), by whom the Northern Kingdom had been

exiled. Note that the unfaithfulness of Yehudah (v.11) is one reason He has had

mercy on the Northern Kingdom. Here He uses the same shock treatment as in

Yahshua’s parables of the two sons

Mat. 21:29

He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

and the P’rush and the Tax-Collector

Luke 18:14

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified [rather] than the other: for

every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself

shall be exalted.

, and Paul’s comments in

Rhomaios 1-2 about the Gentiles proving to be more obedient to the Torah’s

demands, though they had turned away from the written Torah.

The intent is to provoke Yehudah to jealousy.

Deut. 32:16;

Page 8: Repentance

They provoked him to jealousy with strange [gods], with abominations

provoked they him to anger.

Hirsch: "They made Him feel His rights had been violated." Disgusting things:

idols and the lewd and often homosexual rites that accompanied many of them.

Rom. 11:11

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? Let it never be: but [rather]

through their fall salvation [is come] unto the Goyim, for to provoke them to

jealousy.

Slipping: a non-mortal false step. Provoke them to jealousy: an allusion to Deut.

32:21, as in 10:19. Salvation came to the Gentiles: Aramaic, their own life

becomes to the people for their jealousy.

Tehillim 34:18

YHWH (YAHU(AH)) is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth

such as be of a contrite Ruakh (Spirit).

Tehillim 51:17

The sacrifices of Elohiyim are a broken Ruakh (Spirit): a broken and a contrite

heart, O Elohiyim, thou wilt not despise.

Yeshayahu 66:1

Thus saith YHWH ( YAHU(AH)), The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my

footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of

my rest?

My footstool: or, place for My feet, asin Eden and the camp of Israel, where He

walked.

Beresheet. 3:8

Page 9: Repentance

And they heard the voice of YHWH (יהוה) Elohim (אלהים) walking in the garden

in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence

of YHWH (יהוה) Elohim (אלהים) amongst the trees of the garden.

Aramaic, like a highway before Me. Where?

Beresheet. 28:22

And this stone, which I have set [for] a pillar, shall be Elohim (אלהים)'s house:

and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto you.

answeres the question.

Yeshayahu 66:2

For all those things hath mine hand made, and those things have been, saith

YHWH ( YAHU(AH)): but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and

of a contrite Ruakh (Spirit), and trembleth at my word.

Joel 2:13

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto YHWH

(YAHU(AH)) your Elohiyim: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and

of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Tear your heart: The heart is a muscle. Tearing a muscle makes it grow back

stronger and more full. YHWH takes a fatherly approach here rather than a

motherly; He lets us experience the pain so we will remember not to repeat the

same error. Not your clothes: Do not show the outward signs of mourning if you

are not actually contrite. This is Yom Kippur language. Those of us raised on

television and movies have learned to be actors, but YHWH does not want

obedience to His commandments pretended. We cannot make things right

merely by saying, “I’m sorry.” Requiring accountability for our actions is the

way of love, because we thus help the wrongdoer make things right again. The

one who was wronged has the responsibility to rebuke and thereby teach, and

both parties come out better. This pattern fosters intimacy between Israelite

brothers. Someone else is sharing the same burden. But Paul warns us to be sure

Page 10: Repentance

the one doing the correcting is also solidly on his own path of repentance so he

does not fall into the same temptation.

Gal. 6:1-8

Slow to anger: literally, long of nose. Remember how Nin’veh responded to

Yonah and how his prophecy was not carried out for that reason; some

prophecies are contingent on our response:

Those that say that we are saved only by raw belief and not by faith

accompanied by works of repentance, humility and commitment to change are

making a serious mistake!! And it is false to teach that Paul never believed in a

working faith:

Acts 26:19

Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

But shewed first unto them of Demeshek, and at Yerushalayim,

and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they

should repent and turn to YHWH ( YAHU(AH)), and do works meet for

repentance.

Works 'meet' for repentance meaning 'works worthy or befitting of repentance'.

While it is truth that we are saved by grace it is also truth that we are saved by

grace because we have REPENTED.

And we should continue to do works worthy of repentance.

Now that we have established some meaning behind the word 'repent',

the question should be asked

"What exactly are we supposed to be repenting of?"

'Our sins' says the multitude.

Ezekiel 18:20

Page 11: Repentance

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the

father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of

the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon

him. 21 - But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed,

and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely

live, he shall not die.

He cannot rest on his father’s laurels, as was seen in the cases of Aharon

Lev. 10

Eli

1 Shmuel 2:22ff,

and David

1 Kings 1:5-6

for a few examples.

But what is sin?

What is righteousness?

What do the scriptures say?

The scriptures say that keeping the Torah/LAW is righteousness.

Deuteronomy 6:25

And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments

before YHWH ( YAHU(AH)) our Elohiyim, as he hath commanded us.

It will serve as righteousness for us: LXX, "there will be mercy for us";

Aramaic, "it will be to our merit". This flies in the face of what the Church

Page 12: Repentance

teaches—“He did it so we don’t have to.” This is an example of what Kefa said

about the unlearned and unstable twisting Paul’s words.

2 Kefa/Peter 3:16

As also in all [his] letters, speaking in them of these things; in which are some

things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,

as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

But Avraham’s faith was counted as righteousness.

Beresheet. 15:6

And he believed in YHWH (יהוה); and he counted it to him for Tzedakah.

In contrast to the too-easily-misunderstood words in

Galatians 3,

the fact that we can demonstrate our faith only through our actions

Yaaqov/James 2:14ff

does not diminish Yahshua in any way. Obeying the Torah is walking in His

righteousness as he did. The truth is, he did it so we can too. We have been paid

for but not yet delivered; our righteous acts are the way we are “boxed up for

delivery”, so we can get all the way Home.

Notice it says "All these commandments" not just a part here or there.

Tehillim 19:9

The fear of YHWH ( YAHU(AH)) is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of

YHWH ( YAHU(AH)) are true and righteous altogether.

His word is His law...His word is righteous!!

Tehillim 119:123

Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

Page 13: Repentance

Tehillim 119:172

My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are

righteousness.

ALL His commandments...are righteousness.

Tehillim 119:160

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments

endureth for ever.

Every one?? forever? It was true even in Yahu(ah)shua's day The parents of

Yochanan The Immerser...

Luke 1:5

There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named

Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron,

and her name was Elisabeth. - And they were both righteous before YHWH (

YAHU(AH)), walking in all the commandments and ordinances of YHWH (

YAHU(AH)) blameless.

Elisheva: Gk., "Elisabeth", also the LXX transliteration of Elisheva in

Ex. 6:23.

3 And Aharon took him Elisheva, daughter of Ammiynadab, sister of Nahshon,

to wife; and she bare him Nadav, and Avihu, 'El`azar, and Itamar.

It means "Elohiyim made an oath". Her husband's name (Zekharyah) means

"YHWH remembers". Put together, their offspring is a beautiful picture of

Elohiyim's faithfulness to His promise. Course of duty: The "rotation or class of

the priests' service at the Temple, as distributed by families" (Strong), according

to the 24 divisions that David had set up

1 Chron. 24:4ff;

And there were more chief men found of Benai Eli'ezer than of Benai Itamar;

and [thus] were they divided. Among Benai Eli'ezer [there were] sixteen chief

Page 14: Repentance

men of the Beit [their] avot, and eight among Benai Itamar according to the Beit

their avot.

2 Chron8:14.

And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the

Kohanim to their service, and the Leviim to their charges, to praise and minister

before the Kohanim, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their

courses at every gate: for so had David the man of Elohim (אלהים) commanded.

Each division discharged its duties for a whole week, and the courses ran twice

a year. Aviyah's position was eighth

1 Chron. 24:10,

The seventh to Hakkoz, *eighth to Aviyah,

but his descendants served on the tenth week of the first cycle since all of the

divisions served on the third week (Feast of Unleavened Bread) and the ninth

(Shavuoth). (J. Good)

Now it is certain that the scriptures teach that the opposite of righteousness is

unrighteousness or sin.

Rhomaios 6:15

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under favor? By

no means. 16 - Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey,

his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience

unto righteousness?

We are never “above” Torah, but we are “beside” it as its partners once we have

internalized it.

Gal. 3:19-4:7

Empowering favor: includes both amnesty for our failings, “grace” time bought

for us to become what we had ceased to be, and positive encouragement by

Page 15: Repentance

which He motivates us to obey from the heart. This should result in fuller

obedience than isolated, disjointed legalistic commands ever could prompt.

Here we see that Sin and righteousness are opposites. Sin leads to death and

obedience leads to righteousness. Here is another verse showing that sin is

simply "unrighteousness."

1Yochanan 5:17

All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

This brings us to the question of what exactly is sin?

Well, if obedience to the law is righteousness...transgression of the law is

sin/unrighteousness.

1Yochanan 3:4 –

Whoever commits sin trangresses also the law, for sin is the transgression of the

law. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him

there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither

seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who

practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the

devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of

YHWH (YAHU(AH)) was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the

devil. Whoever has been born of YHWH (YAHU(AH)) does not sin, for His

seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of YHWH (

YAHU(AH)). In this the children of YHWH (YAHU(AH)) and the children of

the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of

YHWH ( YAHU(AH)), nor is he who does not love his brother.

1Yochanan 5:17

All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

Page 16: Repentance

So again, clearly transgression of the law is sin... obedience to His law is

righteousness Let us look at verse 4 again:

1Yochanan 3:4

Whoever commits sin trangresses also the law, for sin is the transgression of the

law.

According to Strong's greek lexicon, the word that is translated "transgression of

the law" here means...

Anomia, From 459; illegality, i.e. in violation of the law or (gen.) wickedness

There is a fascinating word study that can be done when we examine all the

verses that this word is translated to. So now that we know what sin is, what

about all those that seem to say His law need not be kept by His people?

Surely no, His law is what tells us what sin is!

So all the scriptures that we see that tell us to repent..to turn away from sin, to

live righteously.. We should know that the very definition of living righteously

is to live according to His law. But have we not failed? His law includes a

provision for that also! It's called MERCY. YHWH ( Yahu(ah)) is righteous,

therefore He has to have mercy! Being merciful is a part of being righteous.. and

mercy is a part of His law!

Matthiyahu 23:23

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and

anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment,

mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone

"The weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith" Not only is

mercy a part of the law, but it is one of the 'weightier matters of the law'! But did

Yahu(ah)shua condemn them in this verse for keeping the finer points? No, He

said these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone! We also

must practice mercy! But on some, (YHWH ( Yahu(ah)) knows them) mercy

doesn't work because they don't care

Page 17: Repentance

Yeshayahu 26:10

Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the

land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of

YHWH ( YAHU(AH)).

In a land where...: or "in a land of honesty", "rightness", "straightness". In

Yahshua's Kingdom, where all is indeed put right, and there is no injustice or

any reason to complain, there will still be some who test His resolve

Zech. 14:18

And if the family of Mitzrayim go not up, and come not, that [have] no [rain];

there shall be the plague, wherewith YHWH (יהוה) will smite the goyim that

come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

and who rebel at the end when haSatan is loosed and their true colors show up

Rev. 20:7ff,

And when the thousand years are expired, satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

though suppressed for a thousand years!

They will CONTINUE to transgress His law, despite the mercy shown. We see

many examples of this today. We hear plenty of messages from mainstream

Christianity telling us about His grace and mercy... And that's great...but There

are but very few messages on REPENTING and living righteously by living

according to His commandments! Some even go so far to say that His law is a

burden and need not even be kept! This is soo far from the truth! It is hasatan's

grand deception!

2 Thessalonians 2:7

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let,

until he be taken out of the way.

Guess what word "iniquity" comes from in this verse? You guessed it,

ANOMIA (violation/transgression of the law in 1Yochanan 3:4!)

2 Thessalonians 2:8

Page 18: Repentance

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom Yahu(ah)shua shall consume

with the Ruakh (Spirit) of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his

coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power

and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in

them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might

be saved. And for this cause YHWH ( YAHU(AH)) shall send them strong

delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who

believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

If they loved not the truth..

if instead they had pleasure in unrighteousness..

And unrighteousness is sin and sin is transgression of the law..

then the fact remains that most people who accept the Messiah are NOT

FULLY REPENTING.

Yet many say to me,

oh look at all the wonderful miracles that are done!

How can all these people be deceived,

do not the miracles testify that they are walking in righteousness and are

accepted by YHWH ( Yahu(ah))?

Some are...

But let's remember Yahu(ah)shua's words:

Matthew 7:21

Not every one that saith unto me, Rabbi, Rabbi, shall enter into the kingdom of

heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will

say to me in that day, Rabbi, Rabbi, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in

thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that

work iniquity.

Page 19: Repentance

There is that word again..anomia. The same word used in 1Yochanan

3:4...transgression of the law! Do not be deceived by the so called miracles. On

judgment day, they mean NOTHING.

Revelations 14:12

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments

of YHWH ( YAHU(AH)) and the faith of Yahu(ah)shua.

However... Let us remember that we have not been perfect. Yahu(ah)shua was

and is perfect,

therefore since we have sinned by transgressing the law (Yes, we all have!!),

it is thru Yahu(ah)shua that we are made righteous!

Rhomaios 5:18

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to

condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all

men unto justification of life. 19 - For as by one man's disobedience many were

made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Demonstrates: proves His point in the clearest and most coherent way, setting

several ideas side by side and presenting them so as to introduce people to a new

way of seeing Him.

Isn't this awesome!?!! HalleluYah! YHWH ( Yahu(ah)) not only gives us

righteous commandments that teach us how to love one another and to love Him

but He also has given us His SON who has redeemed us, sanctified us and

washed away our sins so that we are pure and blameless in His sight! Not only

that, He gave us His Son to be our example of HOW to keep His

commandments! What a blessing, HalleluYah!! Now we don't need to walk

around in gloom for our past failures to live according to His law but now we

are free...free...FREE...TO.... Transgress His law again????

That is what is taught by many and it is total falsehood :(( Is that not insulting

the Ruakh (Spirit) of grace?

Page 20: Repentance

Rhomaios 6:15

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under favor? By

no means. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his

servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience

unto righteousness?

We are never “above” Torah, but we are “beside” it as its partners once we have

internalized it.

Gal. 3:19-4:7

Empowering favor: includes both amnesty for our failings, “grace” time bought

for us to become what we had ceased to be, and positive encouragement by

which He motivates us to obey from the heart. This should result in fuller

obedience than isolated, disjointed legalistic commands ever could prompt.

Let us show our thanksgiving and love for Him by truly repenting and hungering

and thirsting for righteousness by Keeping His commandments as He has said!

Let's bear fruits worthy of repentance. When we see something in His law that

we need to be doing, we need to get on our knees and repent right then and

there! David did not delay when he was shown his sin. We should not either.

YHWH ( Yahu(ah)) has promised to lead us in that path of righteousness when

we seek:

Matthew 6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of YHWH ( YAHU(AH)), and his righteousness;

and all these things shall be added unto you. 6 - Blessed are they which do

hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Kingdom: or dominion. Righteousness: in this context, it probably refers to

meeting others' needs (see note on 6:1), though it may apply more generally.

Let us live according to the Ruakh (Spirit), Yahu(ah)shua's words are Ruakh

(Spirit)!

Page 21: Repentance

Yochanan 6:63

It is the Ruakh (Spirit) that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words

that I speak unto you, they are Ruakh (Spirit), and they are life.

Yahu(ah)shua is the word and anyone who say that ANY part of His word

doesn't matter today might as well be saying that Yahu(ah)shua doesn't matter.

The law IS Ruakh (Spirit)ual!

Rhomaios 7:14

For we know that the law is Ruakh (Spirit)ual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

His word is Ruakh (Spirit), let us not fail to live according to the Ruakh (Spirit)

but let us die to the flesh

Rhomaios 8:5

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are

after the Ruakh (Spirit) the things of the Ruakh (Spirit). 6 - For to be carnally

minded is death; but to be Ruakh (Spirit)ually minded is life and peace. 7 -

Because the carnal mind is enmity against YHWH ( YAHU(AH)): for it is not

subject to the law of YHWH ( YAHU(AH)), neither indeed can be.

According to the flesh: specifically, those more concerned that they were free to

eat certain things without seeing that it was preventing those who were obligated

to kosher laws from recognizing them as genuinely possessing a salvation that

the latter also needed. Direct their minds to the things of earthly nature: though

they now have the option of not doing so. Living according to Ruakh (Spirit):

letting their human Ruakh (Spirit)s, revived by being reconnected to YHWH's

Ruakh (Spirit), be united into one operating force, thus pursuing the things of

the Ruakh (Spirit) realm.

But hasatan has deceived the whole world into thinking that it is only the New

Testament that defines what is right and what is wrong. A major problem with

that is the New Testament was never even written when Kepha/Peter, Phillip,

Paul, Barnabas, Yochanan, James and all the other men of YHWH ( Yahu(ah))

were telling people to repent! People in those days couldn't just turn to the New

Page 22: Repentance

Testament to understand what sin was so what did they have to look at? Paul

said it well:

2Timothy 3:15

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to

make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Yahu(ah)shua ha

Mashiach. 16 - All scripture is given by inspiration of YHWH ( YAHU(AH)),

and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in

righteousness: 17 - That the man of YHWH ( YAHU(AH)) may be perfect,

throughly furnished unto all good works.

In this passage, the Sacred Scriptures carried 7 characteristics:

To make one wise unto salvation

given by inspiration of YHWH ( Yahu(ah))

All scripture is profitable for doctrine

All scripture is profitable for reproof

All scripture is profitable for correction

All scripture is profitable for instruction in righteousness

Knowledge of

scripture causes one to be perfected and equipped/furnished for applying good

works

What did Yahu(ah)shua say about the law and the prophets?

Page 23: Repentance

Matthew 5:17

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to

destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one

jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall

teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but

whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the

kingdom of heaven.

I have come: a Hebrew idiom for "my purpose is". To give them their fullest

meaning: as seen by the rest of this discourse, where He expands on the

common interpretations of his day to get to the heart of the matter. "Fulfill" (or

complete) was also a technical term used by rabbis to describe a correct

interpretation, which "established" it. He reveals what YHWH really intended

by the commandments by setting forth specific cases--a common rabbinic

method. In Mattithyahu he reiterates and amplifies on each of the ten

commandments. Yodh: the smallest Hebrew letter, but by no means

insignificant. Taga: a diacritic notation over some letters to add nuances of

intonation. Du Tillet Heb., one hook. Peshitta Aramaic, stroke. Shem-Tov Heb.,

not one letter or dot...because all will be fulfilled. Teachers of others incur the

stricter judgment.

Yaaqov/James 3:1

Compare

Deuteronomy 4:2.

Therefore, let us seek diligently the commandments of YHWH ( Yahu(ah)) and

walk according to the light He has given us.

Don't let those who break even the least of the commandments and teaches men

so deceive us into following their example.

The Ultimate Example given for us is Yahu(ah)shua, and He didn't fail to do

even one jot or tittle of YHWH ( Yahu(ah))'s law!

And when we do fail, do not forget the One who knows what we are going

through!

Page 24: Repentance

Hebrews 4:15

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses,

but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Weakness: or defeat; Aramaic, weariness. I.e., the fact that we are worn down

by something that is aiming to defeat us.

Praise YHWH ( Yahu(ah))! Like David, I have found this to be true of YHWH (

Yahu(ah)) our Elohiyim:

Tehillim 23:3

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's

sake.

Truly, He has done this. For His name's sake. He doesn't want people who are

seeking Him and are called by His name to be lead into unrighteousness, He

loves His name. HalleluYah because I do too! We must not be afraid of those

who call you a legalist and condemn you for trying to walk as Yahu(ah)shua

walked, if it is out of love for HIM, their condemnation is not from YHWH (

Yahu(ah)). Where do we ever see YHWH ( Yahu(ah)) condemning someone for

TRULY repenting and walking in righteousness by doing as He commanded?

Yahu(ah)shua is the example, if He kept the Sabbath and you do not, REPENT

and KEEP IT.

If He kept the feast days and you do not, REPENT and KEEP THEM.

If He kept ANY of the commandments that you do not, by all means REPENT

and DO THEM....surely YHWH ( Yahu(ah)) will be with you!

Yochanan 8:29

And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do

always those things that please him.

May we always do those things that please Him.

And may YHWH ( Yahu(ah)) bless you and grant you peace and truth!
