TallyWARM – an industry solution

• Tally.ERP is an ERP system that has comprehensive general purpose accounting, stock control,

manufacturing and order management for SMEs.

• TallyWARM is a solution built on Tally.ERP that addresses industry pain points around:

– the processes of components, accessories and products replacement

– warranty and

– AMC (after sales maintenance contracts)

– Salesperson performance.

• Vendors of products like computers, batteries, inverters and white goods, need to track the products

as well as parts within them especially to manage returns for repair or replacement.

• Tracking a faulty part right from its identification to replacement and the efficiency in doing that is

a capability that is missing in Tally. To add to that, there are complexities of in-warranty and

outside-warranty.

• TallyWARM will also handle customer relationships relating to warranties and AMC including an

automated reminder service .

• While manufacturers’ systems are being used for tracking, this is done mostly in B2C situations. In

B2B, the vendors keep a track themselves especially when they have AMCs with their customers.

Warranty Tracking

Manufacturer Warranty is recorded during Purchase whereas Customer warranty starts

from date of Sale. Validity is checked when receiving items for repair/ replacement.
