3. PROGRAMMING AND MAINTENANCE

For the creation of the web page of the project and its maintenance along

the project execution, INOVA has subcontracting an IT service. After

scanning several possibilities, the company chosen to provide this service is

Hacce Soluciones TIC S.L, specializing in digital media and web design user-

centered. (More information of Hacce: http://hacce.com/)

The web page of TEFLES has been developed on the WordPress Content Management

System (CMS).

WordPress is a Content Management System (CMS) developed in PHP and distributed under GPL

licenses. That is, the code is open, modifiable, and requires no license fees for its use.

Wordpress Highlights:

Content management: the editing of articles by the administrator is simple and accessible to

any medium user via Internet, because it follows the philosophy WYSIWYG "What You See Is

What You Get".

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): WordPress has numerous tools to improve SEO.

Installation scalable: among the main advantages of WordPress, as in any other open source

manager is the fact that any facility can be expanded, ie, new components can be added to

increase functionality.

Consolidated Developer Community: There is a vast global community of programmers to

develop extensions for WordPress, it licensed under GPL or commercial license, which can be

used and customized in any web page.

Automatic System Update.

Distribution of articles through RDF, RSS 0.92, RSS 2.0 and Atom 1.0.

Integration of other web services:

TEFLES website allows the integration of web services and improve the dissemination of information

about the project:

- Youtube: store-and video broadcasting.

- Issuu: service storage and distribution of PDF documents.

- Slideshare: storage and distribution service presentations.
