Report of Continued Physiotherapy Education Program held on 23 rd February 2019 The Department of Physiotherapy, NILD has organized one day Continued Physiotherapy education program on Concepts on Manipulative Medicine: An Osteopathic Approach towards Diagnosis and Treatmentfor physiotherapists at NILD auditorium on 23 rd February, 2019. The program was inaugurated by Dr A. Biswas, Director, NILD, Kolkata and in his speech he emphasized on the importance of physiotherapy and said that this new approaches based on evidence will help clinician for better diagnosis & treatment. Inaugural welcome address was given by Mr. Pravin Kumar, Asst. Prof & HOD (PT) and Mr. Dibyendu Gayen, Demonstrator (PT). Dr Sanjay Sarkar, MPT, MS(Gero), PhD, Assistant Professor, Concordia University, St. Paul, USA, the resource person of the program has elaborately explained and demonstrated various osteopathic methods used for diagnosis and treatment of different musculoskeletal disorders.

Report of Continued Physiotherapy Education Program

held on 23rd

February 2019

The Department of Physiotherapy, NILD has organized one day Continued Physiotherapy education

program on “Concepts on Manipulative Medicine: An Osteopathic Approach towards Diagnosis and

Treatment” for physiotherapists at NILD auditorium on 23rd February, 2019.

The program was inaugurated by Dr A. Biswas, Director, NILD, Kolkata and in his speech he

Total 77 (Seventy Seven) BPT intern and post-graduate (MPT) students and Physiotherapist along

with staff members of Physiotherapy department of NILD has participated in the program and

learned about this new technique.

After completion of the program participation certificate was distributed to the participants. The

program ended with vote of thanks extended by Mr B. Sarkar, Demonstrator (PT).

The program was covered by print media on 24.03.2019.
