The registration process of Alumni Association is
completed. The alumni association is an
organization of the former students of the institute.
Working committee of Alumni Association consists
of student representatives and faculty coordinators
from each department. Annual Alumni meet is
arranged every year in the month of April.

About Us:
The years go by and the number of familiar faces at campus diminishes, but the memories we
all carry within us seem stronger all the time. Alumni association of NBNSTIC unifies the
alumni for betterment of every alumnus and the institute. Anecdotes of fellow students,
escapades, distinctive acts of professors, and tales of a sporting glory, among others have
dominated many a conversation years after the result sheets have faded and torn.
The Alumni Association of NBN Sinhgad Technical Institute Campus allows more frequent
and widespread interaction between alumni, Students, Staff members and the Management.
With the proliferation of the association, alumni all over the world can stay in touch.
Our mission:
The Alumni Association of NBN Sinhgad Technical Institutes Campus seeks to reach, serve
and engage all its alumni and students; to foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional
connection between the Institute and its graduates; and to provide the Institute with goodwill
and support. By means of establishing a vibrant, sustainable, influential and giving community
of alumni, the mission of the Alumni Association of NBN Sinhgad Technical Institutes Campus
is to mobilise and utilise the power, talents, experience and leadership of its alumni in order
to make a beneficial contribution to Campus as a whole.
Our vision:
To enrich the associability and to make them more amicable, a network is formed
which will increase alumni awareness about current campus activities, needs and
success stories. We look forward to contributions from alumni worldwide. We always
look forward to initiate, nurture and sustain engagement with alumni as active partners
in the Institute’s pursuit of excellence.
Our objectives:
Recognize academic, professional and other achievements of the
alumni and the students, and to institute suitable awards for them
Provide assistance to alumni with their career problems through involvement
of other alumni, placement cell and faculty members.
Develop shared engagement strategies aligned with campus, and institutional
priorities and shared engagement services that assist with the work of campus.

Create awareness about important social issues and help develop a sense of social
responsibility amongst alumni, students and the society, through various activities.
Nurture linkages amongst the alumni and encourage friendly relations
through meetings, tours etc.
Organize programs for the entertainment and enjoyment of the members of
the Association provide a forum for the alumni for exchange of ideas on
career, cultural and social issues.
Facilitate and encourage alumni to contribute towards improvement of
infrastructure for all round development of the current students of NBN

Details of Alumni Meet 2015-16:
Alumni meet for Academic year 2015-16 was successfully conducted on 23rd April 2016.
Details of Alumni Meet 2014-15:
NBN SSOCS organized its first Alumni Meet on 28th February 2015. The Meet was attended by
70 alumni of batches that graduated in year 2014 (First Graduating Batch). It was a great pleasure to
know about their accomplishments in professional lives. Most of them were visiting first time since
their graduation, and naturally were thrilled to be back in the campus again.
The principal of NBN STIC, Dr. S. D. Markande, Dr. Smita R Chavan (Associate Director, NBN
SSOCS) and dean of MBA Dr. Sunil Ujagare were present for the Alumni Meet. Dr. S. D. Markande
addressed the gathering and said that Alumni are the brand ambassadors of the Institution and a very
vibrant relationship must be established and nurtured. Dr. Smita R. Chavan, called upon the alumni to
contribute to the development of NBN SSOCS. For the batches who studied, it was really very touching
to meet friends and faculties after such a long time.
