ABSTRACT The STMS is a Staff Management System is a convenience for staff to apply and manage their work which is located in Selangor International Islamic University College, Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi, Selangor. The main purpose of the development of this system is to give a convenience for the staff to apply leave, apply on off and faulty report by online. It also give opportunities for the management to manage apply leave system, apply on off system and faulty report system. In this system, also have new advertisement for the staff for instance have a program in SIIUC or about the examination and others. The system is designed with user friendly, easy to use interface and simple navigation menu so that the user will be the able to use and browse the system easily. The system is developed by Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, PHP and MySQL database which is easy to use and can integrate all of the system elements. Hope that this system can help users in application Staff Management System. 1

INTRODUCTION

Staff Management system is a prototype for Faculty of Information Science and

Technology’s report by online project. There are three part of the system:

Leave application System

Faulty Report System

On Off Application System

The staff just needs to be online to do any transaction and facilities for student and

management in SIIUC. Leave application system is a system where the staff can apply

the leave by online. The application from staff will be send to dean. The second step is

the dean should approve or not approve the application and send to human resources

department.

The second system is a faulty report system where the staff can report any fault

or damage in the type of electric, building and furniture. The report from the staff will be

send to Student Affair Department (JPP). JPP will approve the report and send to

Department of Treasurer Development (JHP). Staff in JHP can take an action as soon

as possible.

The third of system is on off application system where staff can make application

to go out during work time. The application will be send to dean and the dean will

approve the application.

OBJECTIVE

• Do not waste the time to make any transaction by online because now we have a

wireless in S.I.I.U.C

• Easy for all management staff to use and process the application

• Developing and manage the system with more efficient, easy, and systematic

• No cheating forms because the transaction is made online

• Easily to analysis, doing the document works.

USER REQUIREMENT STUDY

Problem Statement

Difficult for the staff to make application by manual system.

Difficult for the management such as the dean, Human Recourses Department

(HR), Student Affair Department (JPP), Department of Treasurer Development

(JHP) to manage their work because in SIIUC have many staff in all department.

Late to know approval status

This system is a manual base on the manual form.

There are the limitations of the system:

Many of information should be key in by manual

Lack of security

Some system don’t have a part for staff to check their status of application

SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION

For more effective and interactive system, we can use/add interactive

Effects and Benefit

Transaction can be done quickly

All transaction will be online, no traditional style anymore

Reduce cost (paper usage)

Reduce time (trip to office to apply)

1. HomePage.php is a main page the system

2. loginstaff.php page is for staff to login to apply any application in the system.

3. mainpage.php is a page for staff to choose any three applications. There are On Off

Application System, Leave Application System and Faulty Report System.
