Changing Self Perceptions A controlled efficacy study of the Quadrinity Process by Christiane Windhausen Introduction The opportunity for good scientific research in an academic environment concerning clinical issues and group therapy has been effectively realized by the German psychologi st Christ iane Windhau sen. From 1995 to 1997, while at the Muenst er Univer sity, she showed an interes t in the benefi ts of the Quadrini ty Proces s and was able to marsha l support for her research idea in the form of a dissertat ion study at her graduate school. She succe ssful ly compared the results of group therapy in a hospit al setting versus an 8 day Quadrinit y Process traini ng with a number of psych ologic al test s. Her aim was to clarif y what benefi ts, if any, may be derive d from the Quadrin ity Process. This German dissertation research study by Christiane Windhausen entitled:  Veraenderte Selbst- Bilder: Eine kontrolierte Effektivitaetsstudie mit Katamnese zum Quadrinity Prozess Changing Self Perceptions: A controlled efficacy study of the Quadrinity Process  was comple ted by Januar y 1997 at the Westfaelische Wilhelms-Universitaet, Muenster, Germany.  As a clinician and consultant, it has been with some satisfaction that I have been able to review this disse rtatio n. In the followi ng pages, I will attemp t to follow the spirit of her disserta tion, but will not replic ate some of the more complex resea rch details of her 156 page disser tation . Those of you wishin g to read the comple te dissertation in German may contact the Hoffman Institute in order to obtain a copy.
