Reserve a Book (Place Hold)

TUTORIAL

In case all copies of a book are issued, a user may reserve a copy through ‘Place

Hold’ facility available at Learning Resource Centre (LRC) website (Library

OPAC).

Once a user reserves a book, she/he will be notified via email and text message as

soon as a copy of the book is available/returned in the Learning Resource Centre.

Note: Once a user receives the notification, the ‘hold’ will be reserved for 24 hours,

after which it will be suspended automatically.

Follow the step by step instructions below for a pictorial demonstration of the same.

STEP 1

Go to http://library.bennett.edu.in

Click Login

STEP 2: Enter your Credentials

STEP 3: Search for the Book you need to reserve

STEP 5: Click on the ‘Place Hold’ option on Right

STEP 7: Confirm / Suspend your details
