Hardwoods• Oak • Pine • Beach• Mahogany • Teak • Balsa• Ash • These hardwoods are a good range of woods that you can use to create a box. In my opinion I would beach or mahogany becauseThey are both very smooth pieces of wood and also are a very unusual colour.
Softwoods • Scott's pine • Parana pine• Spruce • Yellow cedar • European redwoods • Needles • Evergreen• I have never used any of these woods so I can’t give an opinion. But here’s an opinion from the internet. Softwood also scores with its feel and by radiating a feeling ofwarmth – natural oiled Larchwood floors are demonstrably the warmest of all.
