Replacement Assembly for Motors Without RTDsThis replacement option uses the SEL-849 relay in combination with the SEL-3421 Motor Relay HMI for applications without resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). The front of the mounting plate contains the SEL-3421 HMI and an Ethernet port, and the back of the plate contains the SEL-849 and terminal blocks to interface with existing panel wiring. The mounting plate uses the existing panel opening and mounting holes from the prior GE relay installation.

Replacement Assembly for Motors With RTDs This replacement option uses the SEL-710 relay for applications with RTDs. The front mounting plate contains the SEL-710 and the CT and PT terminal block. The rear mounting plate contains control and RTD terminal blocks and a 24 Vdc power supply to provide wetting voltage. The front and rear mounting plates use the existing panel opening and mounting holes from the prior GE relay installation. For shallow compartment applications, two extension rings are available to projection-mount the SEL-710.
Note: If you require more extensive protection features and communications capabilities, an upgrade to the SEL-710-5 Motor Protection Relay can be accommodated.
