GET INVOLVEDASTM International positively impacts public health and safety, consumer confidence, and overall quality of life. We integrate consensus standards – developed with our international membership of volunteer technical experts that are “helping our world work better”.

ASTM D19 is leading the world in innovative, new methods for water analysis. Recently, D19 published a method for dissolved gases in water and is currently working on GC/MS/MS and LC/MS/MS methods. ASTM D19 members are on the forefront of Cyanide analysis gaining EPA CWA approval for numerous ASTM cyanide methods, and inclusion of equivalent methods at ISO. An extensive array and methodology for the analysis of water are developed by ASTM D19. On line water analysis, radiochemical analysis, inorganic and organic water contamination are just a few of the sub-committees. Manufacturers, independent laboratories, equipment vendors, government agencies and industries from around the world reference D19 water standards.

STANDARDSSome of the EPA referenced D19 standards are listed below.
